All you have to do is step out of line, break a commandment, or knowingly sin and they have a legal right (express permission from the Almighty) to torment you - at least for a time. It is how He disciplines His own.
I don't think that is true.
It's not about what we do, it's about what God knows is good for us.
Thank God! I have not suffered all the consequences of my misdeeds!
My one experience with crystal meth was this . . . Back in the day . . . I was walking down my alleyway, and saw some of my friends passing a pipe in my neighbor's garage. I was a pot smoker, and thought they were passing a pot pipe. I stepped up, a fellow passed me the pipe and lighter. I put it to my lips, lit the Bic, and Sean, my neighbor, grabbed my arm, pulled it away from my mouth, and said, "You don't want that!". It was meth. Knowing me . . . I'm the guy that would get addicted my first time.
And that was NOT like Sean!! But praise God He saved me that day!
