This is why they are falsely led to think they know Jehovah - so that they can label us as the unbelievers and blasphemers for saying Christ is God.
For we know from John ch1 - "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God."

They change the Scripture to saying "the Word was a god."

To them, Jesus is not the Elohim from Genesis and Exodus.

Then we simply agree, I do not think he was flesh prior to coming to earth either. Perhaps you should understand what is being said, before you yourself make the condescending comments. I seriously doubt that there is very many who think Jesus was a flesh and blood being before coming to earth. True the Bible doesn't state that emphatically, but virtually everyone understands him to be a spirit being before coming to earth.

I have never heard anyone from any faith insist that Christ was a "spirit being" before His incarnation. You seemed to say that you had no Scripture evidence for it, yet now you refer to some.

This is the kind of nonsense that fills this and other similar (or practically identical) threads, not to mention the tenacious last-word-itis that is characteristic of online discussions of this type.

Ascribing motive is yet another nifty (but not terribly clever) trick. What is your motive for ascribing motive? lol

Let's call it a day, or do you have such a defensive complex as to make that impossible?
