Yes sir, as you pointed out, Jesus said God is a spirit, yet Jesus was flesh. I agree with him sir, and would recommend you worship the God Jesus promoted Dave.
If we do not worship the Son we cannot worship the Father.
If we delegate the Son to being flesh we do not believe His Word and the Truth is not in us.
Yashua(Jesus) said: John ch6
For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath.
17But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
19Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
20For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
21For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to
them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.
22For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
23that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
No separation of Father and Son and Spirit
Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
33For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Then Jesus said to them,
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.
54Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
55For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.
56He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
57As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
58This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.
Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard
this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?”
61When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you?
62What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
63It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.
The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are Life.
64But there are some of you who do not believe.”
There is some real Truth here for you to DIGEST - it requires faith and trust.
Do you know that clean animals such as sheep, cattle, deer, elk can die from starvation with a full stomach of food in them?
If they eat dead grass that has no life in it, they die from starvation.
