A better understanding of John 20 above is found in Matthew 16:19 which reads:As to the apostles: (John 20:21-23) . .
"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven correct translation in Greek.... [shall having been bound in heaven] and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." [shall having been loosed in heaven]].
The prior action, you see, is in heaven! Don't take my word for it, consult someone who speaks authentic Greek.
In fact if Jesus was God what kind of temptation would all the kingdoms of the world be, and why on earth would God bow down to him?
I never said the Father should bow to the Son. In fact, the Bible is full of passages that indicate the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are equal in essence and substance as per Deuteronomy 6:4.
The first word "LORD" is translated "YHWH/JEHOVAH" the same as the second word "LORD." When we study the word "God" in the same verse it is the plural Hebrew word "Elohim" the same as written in Genesis 1:1
If the next verses does not convince you that Jesus is Jehovah God then nothing will!!!
23) And he said unto them, "Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
24) I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe NOT that I AM [the GREAT I AM, God Himself], ye shall die in your sins.
