Instead of Russia taking over Ukraine and invading Israel, what's more than likely about to happen is the Russians are about to have their heads handed to them. I don't think the return is soon, but as usual we are heading evermore so in that direction with every day. As Jesus said, the Tribulation is going to catch most people in this world by surprise because they weren't watching. I would much rather be considered to be "dumb" by this world's standards than experience the Tribulation with them.
