Many believe Jesus was alive, He died on the cross. Even maybe believe he was ressurected.

But when it comes to their sinfulness and pride. They can’t put their faith in Christ to climb abound the train headed to heaven as their ticket is paid.

They can’t believe, and when you think of it. It is against human nature to believe, that we can not or do not have to do anything to make up for our wrong doings. So they will say, Yeah, I believe, But they lack faith.

Or they can’t believe, that they are so sinful they deserve hell. Because they are not like the “murderer, Hitler The adulterer etc etc…”

James spoke of this, People who believed,, yet as he said, even demons believe yet tremble.. And Paul spoke of it. People who begin in the spirit yet try to perfect in the flesh.

That salvation is by grace through faith and is not by works (Ephesians 2:8,9) is not hard to understand. It's just hard for many people to ACCEPT. It's a shame that human pride will not allow such people to trust in Jesus Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of their salvation. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:16; 3:24-28; 4:5-6 etc..) Their hands are full of their works and they will not let go in order to receive Christ through faith.

One valuable lesson I have learned in my latter yrs is nobody likes what they think or believe to be rebutted.

The most important aspect of God's word is the character of God and his great love and longsuffering with his created man. Love is what kept Jesus on the cross!

At best I pray we all have found salvations way,for it is clearly defined and must be worked out individually!
At worst man has deceived you over God's word and you continue to deceive yourself bc you want to be soothed rather than repent!

i cant get enough of RC Sproul. He was this century's equivalent of john calvin.

im mostly surprised that in like ten years of saying what i did no Bible believer has yet so much as invoked the kind of belief Abraham had (rather than faith i mean). Seems like one would be interested in how it was "credited to him as faith," but apparently not!

I know that Jesus is the word as in John.
I know too he is God's only begotten son of God the Father.
I have read the words of the prophets,Moses,the book of poetry,the words of wisdom, the historical parts of those books,Job ect.that we have been blessed to have.
