The verse you provided doesn't support your contention. Paul refers to elders located at the church where Timothy had a ministry. He does not refer to an official body or religious office.

The vision on the mountain was real.

It’s understandable that a person would feel that way about their deity and equally understandable that a person who doesn’t feel that way about another person’s deity doesn’t.
