Actually, I am attempting to point you back to Acts 2:38 and lead you out of modernism.
You shouldn't take off so quick.

Grace was God warning Noah of impending doom, and giving him instructions on how to avoid it.
Faith is when Noah believed AND obeyed what God told him.

The “ Good News” in the Bible, commonly referred to as “ THE GOSPEL” is 1Cor15:1-4— THAT and Nothing else.....
People like to take ANY verse that is positive and call it “ the gospel—— it ain’t....and NOBODY in these Forums tries to bring this “ Good News” to the Lost nearly as much as I do.....no brag- just Fact. You brought it up, so I responded....
Confused people that may or may “not” be actual Saved Believers are in here all the time preaching their “ False and Perverted” so- called “ gospels” and I have been around long enough to see that these “ Spreaders Of Leaven” NEVER change their minds about their False Doctrines.....Therefore, to Fight For The True Gospel, what Paul called “ his” Gospel ( Given to Him personally by Jesus) I don’t really talk to these “ Gospel - Skippers” and “ Grace Rejectors” and the “ COMPLETE Book Of Acts Skippers.....
I talk PAST them and use them as “ springboards” to hopefully get the Truth Of the Gospel Of Grace out there for any Newbies out there that haven’t been RUINED yet and become like them— “Fallen From Grace” and “ Severed from Christ”....and they don’t even realize it....
I am not going to try to “ make nice” with those that at their BEST , “ Shipwreck” the Faith Of The “ babes” in Christ , and at their WORST might actually cause the Damnation Of Some Of Those “ Babes” That don’t have enough Bible Knowledge to stand up to these “ Gospel Skippers” That Substitute the actual Gospel that has the POWER to save, with a False Gospel Of Wet Hair!”
This is not some little “ war of Words!” If people want to “ make nice” with damnable Doctrines—- go ahead....Some people need to be “ REBUKED”...If you don’t think that what they are falsely Teaching is not worthy of “ Rebuke” , just exactly where “would” you Take a Stand and Fight For the Gospel? Do “YOU” equate Water with the BLOOD Of Christ or even put it “ above” it? I don’t and I will do battle with anybody that tries to...I’ll say it for the thousandth time....for Salvation, it’s NOTHING but the Blood .....NOTHING!
Well, it looks like God must have Failed to “ do what it takes”, when it came to the Thief on the Cross, didn’t He?
It's more akin to “mocking” .....like Isaiah did to the heathen in a contest he set up to bring fire down from Heaven —- “ So where is your “ god?” Did he have to leave to go to the bathroom? ( this is cleaned up considerably) .... And there was the case involving Paul, when he argued with the Legalists about Circumcision .....he asked them why not just go out and cut off your ENTIRE Private Parts....Even Jesus told the Pharisees that “ one would think that you guys were Moses the way you guys make up so many laws!
A little “ mocking “can be used to make a point....of course, some here wouldn’t understand a “ Good Point” if it came up and bit them on the Er....ah......behind , let’s say.....lol....
You take *ONE* verse....You run with it , you actually have found a way to turn a precious Rite into an Idol and maintain it’s the only way to get Saved...
Paul says way past Acts 2 that a person gets Saved by merely Believing his Gospel....you know,that little “ Jesus died for your sins and rise from the Grave ” thingy?
If you INSIST on “ Camping Out” somewhere with just ONE verse of Scripture, why not “ camp out” with the very same verse that God will use on Judgement Day to determine your Eternal Fate....” On That Day, when ALL MEN will be JUDGED, * ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL* said Paul.....I know you detest going beyond the Second Chapter Of Bible Books, But you are IN LUCK with this one! It’s in the SECOND CHAPTER of Romans ( how fortunate for you! ) .....try verse 16..... remember you heard it here first when you “ boast” to God about your “ wet hair” and find out He is not concerned with it....He is more concerned about your Faith in His Son’s Blood or your Lack of it.....you may find out too late that the Great Hymn had it right all along—- it really WAS “ Nothing But The Blood.” That is the thinking behind Paul’s Gospel Found In 1Cor 15:1-4 that if Simply Believed will Save you for Eternity.....The subject of “ Wet Hair” will not even come up on that day—- A ‘Day’ That might have a dismal ending for you if you don’t abandon your “ Gospel Skipping” Ways ......

That incident was prior to Pentecost and before the Holy ghost was poured out and before Jesus died and ascended and before......

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
By having one's sins remitted per this way, one is saved.
Yes......But Only because Jesus’ Father had a Change Of Plan after He revealed “ The Mysteries” Of the Ages to Paul.... All this Worship Of Peter and “ His Keys” ....Lol....are you Catholic or something? I suppose your NEXT Big Thing will be Mary Worship ( we will have to save “ that” for another time)
If you desire to “ Follow” Jesus, why not do what He Commanded ? He told us to “ FOLLOW” His “ Chosen Vessel” —— That Vessel being PAUL and NOT Peter.....Paul was God’s “ Messenger to the Gentiles” and it is to HIM that we go to for Today's Doctrine....Even Peter admitted later that even though Paul might be “ Hard to understand”, anything that Paul wrote was the Equal to Anything in Scripture....and what did Paul write? “ And now I am reminding you brothers , of the Good News That I preached to you , that message that you received and took your Stand on....unless, of course you Believed something that was never true in the first place...I told you this message exactly as it was told to me....Jesus Died for our sins and was buried and He was Raised on the third day, just as Scripture foretold”
Paul said that “ it was *THIS GOSPEL* that Saves You.......He also said in Romans that THIS Gospel —— HIS Gospel,That God will Judge you By when you stand before Him....
Once again, no mention of Falser’s “ Wet Hair Gospel”......
Peter’s Promise Of Receiving the Holy Spirit by Water Immersion was a Valid one to any audience that heard it....on the other hand, Paul preached that Belief ONLY would get that Job done...Peter, later in Acts , submitted to the teachings of Paul —— it was NEVER the other way around and Jesus NEVER said to “ Follow Peter” —— Jesus said “ Follow PAUL” .....Paul repeated it Three Times....
Get with the New Plan ,Falser.....stop being a “ Gospel Skipper!” ....
The “ ONLY” Way?..... hmmmmmm.....How about “ If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the Dead, you WILL BE SAVED!” ... Ring a bell?
Probably not....it’s in the tenth chapter of Romans and we all know that you think it’s a sin to go beyond chapter two in any Bible Book.....Doing “That” could possibly embarrass you as you might see the stupidity of your Confused “ Doctrine” ...
You first “ Twist” Scripture and then you have to “ Twist” a little more and then.....
The Phillipian Jailer asked the same question....poor Paul —- be must have been Befuddled from all the excitement that day and forgot to mention water baptism....
All he said was “ BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be Saved....”
According to “ your” Silly logic.... Paul just gave that poor man “ half” of a Saving Message That in Truth could not Save anybody! Paul’s seriously flawed message left out the “ Gospel Of Wet Hair!”
I bet God seriously chastised Paul For delivering this False messages that damned that poor Jailer because he was never told ( ABOVE all other things, that he HAD to be water baptized in order to be Saved)..... how could Paul be so “dumb” as to leave this out? It sure beats me.....
