It is incumbent on an individual to study to show themselves approved of God.

Human beings as we are all fallible, can have fallible ideas and notions all alike, however we can find grace and truth found in Jesus Christ.

I have a fascination and love for all of the people here on the board as not every one person is the same part of the body of Christ, there is eye, tooth, gum, tongue, foot, and the like manner.

Either way it goes, when it comes down to studying, one should be encouraged to do it for themselves, and hopefully be and through the Holy Spirit which leads one into all truth.


If Jesus wasn't right about the rising again about those who did good, and those who did evil,

What are we to believe? I choose to believe him, and I also choose to believe this too:

• 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
• Romans 14:11 For the Scriptures say, “‘As surely as I live,’ says the LORD, ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.’”
• Php 2:10 that in the Name of Jesus every knee may bow—of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth—
• Php 2:11 and every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ [is] LORD, to the glory of God the Father.
• Revelation 22: 14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

How can all tongues confess, in heaven or on earth if everyone just dies and there is no soul left for the individual?

Very confusing doctrine, people believe in.

Believe and seek the grace and truth found in Jesus.

• John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote to Timothy saying in his second letter:

• 2 Timothy 2:15
• Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Notice that Paul doesn't say do your best to present yourself to Men as one approved.

May all be encouraged. God bless, and may God judge who is always the one who will judge at the end of life.

All are justified by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ which makes us right with God - it is not our knowledge based on scripture and how much one may know.

It always boils down back to Jesus and everything he has done on behalf of everyone in the entire world. Which He teaches us to die to ourselves and to love God and to love others.

Thanks for the kind words. Perhaps our brother will reconsider the weight of evidence a verse like this represents. While some Bible verses taken alone can be interpreted different ways and thus requires "line upon line, precept upon precept, here and there a little" to get their true meaning, this is no such verse. It's absolutely means exactly what it says, and we must adjust our beliefs to conform to it if we are to remain Bible Christians, amen?

It is useless for anyone to say “I have eternal life NOW” being still bound to death.

1 Timothy 6:16 He (God) alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see.

Only God has Life in Himself John 5:26 and he gave that Life to His Son.

Luke 20:36 Being like the angels we can no longer die..being children of the resurrection.

Why couldn't MattG uses these verse to form his beliefs?

I could keep going but its fruitless on him...he only wants to teach his fanciful notions.

What is Gods will? Is it to destroy all souls that don’t believe on Him? How can all tongues confess that Jesus is the Lord if there is no more souls and they are all gone?

Still very confusing doctrine people believe in.


Where do people go when they die? All the pastors at funerals say they are in a better place now. Is that a lie? Truth? What is truth? Are some in hell and some in heaven then all of them come down and be judged when Jesus returns? When hell is poured out?

That's a good cross reference to Hebrews 11:38-39 - you have the mention of promises, not yet received by those who faithfully sought immortality, and you also have God's desire to bring as many as He can into the ark (His Son) 2 Peter 3:6

God is still calling...Because the day that God has appointed has not yet arrived, it means that others can come to Him to be saved.

Its called the Judgement seat when everyone stands before God/Christ and will acknowledge with their mouths confessing He is the One they have rejected as Savior, Lord, God, King, Creator etc......

You are twisting that scripture to support your other heresy of universalism to go along with the heresy of preterism.

My favorite preacher indignantly asked his audience of diverse Christian denomination believers, "Why y'all afraid to go to the cemetery at midnight? Y'all know them folk are dead....but not surely, right?

He said that wake them to the realization that their beliefs are more in line with the serpent than with God.

Some people are saying those who didn’t seek they die and don’t exist no more and use scripture to justify their stance.

Okay, yes they die but where do they go? Do they cease to exist? Isn’t that what atheist believe?

What did Jesus Christ bring? No one has forgotten have they? Resurrection, and is the only for certain people? From what they are suggesting and say it is only for certain people, the rest didn’t seek so they died and they are forgotten.

What a terrible day for when a mother loses her son, there is no comfort or hope for her losed loved one to tell her, sorry ma’am your son is no longer existing… he died and that was it, you told me he wasn’t a believer…

Or even worse they won’t say but they will believe that person went to Hell or something.

So please be honest with your beliefs and open about them…

I don’t know aunty Jane, people can make mountains out of mole hills.

When it comes to the creation, there are people who believe made God something out of nothing or out of something, that a creation of a day was 24 literal hours, it’s all conjecture as far as I can see except God made nothing out of something by his spoken word.

Like I stated before, it’s not something to die over, people will fight over flat earth or round earth, old earth or new earther theory’s and stuff.

I don’t care much about theory’s, but truth is far more paramount. And some things are simply subjective to the individual.

Yes I do believe I’m gonna die one day…

However there I hope found in Jesus Christ that resurrection is assured, but his death wasn’t just for me, it was for all people. And I believe God will raise all people back from the dead.
