So the agency has gotten back to me already, although I'm not sure on the timing to fix. But they are working on it and will get it sorted.

Here's what they said:
"Theses types of ads are always on our target list to block however advertisers use some deceptive coding and naming which allows them to slip through. This might just be part of our startup but you and unfortunately a reader from time time will alert us to one of these ads and we block that advertiser or ad. Our entire clientele are faith based and have the same zero tolerance for bad ads. We spend hours every week applying new walls to our filters in response.
I wanted you to know we take this very seriously and Andy has directed the team to respond."

Thanks for the feedback. I’m not planning on changing moderation at all. I like how things are done now and don’t plan to change it at all.

Greetings Doughty, and nice being able to put a face to what up till now was somewhat of a mystery to most of us. :)

I've a suggestion: I have a friend who owns/runs a smaller Christian forum and he's generally very up front about who he is, what's going on, and how and why decisions are being made. I haven't asked him why he bought and runs his site, but if you were to oblige letting us know a little more about yourself, many might find it interesting getting to know you a little better and why you bought this one, including myself.

Maybe create an Intro thread to let the community know who you are?

Just a suggestion. Either way, God bless, and thank you for sharing what's going on.

My only real complaint is this flap that keeps popping up from the bottom and covers up what I'm reading.

I still have the flap. It’s offering me cremation packages, lol. I have gotten to not really noticing all the top, bottom and side ads. They don’t annoy or distract me as they did at first.

@ScottA I use Privacy Badger all the time on my MS Laptop using my Opera Browser as an add-on to it. It is very, very good. I don't get adverts etc, and not here either. No change for me...

For Android using the Fire Fox browser there is also the Privacy Badger. It is a very sophisticated program...and rated at 4.8/5.0

I think if everyone added this program/app on their devices whether cell phones of laptops etc, there with be ZERO ads etc.

The ads are annoying, but I think all ads are annoying. They are there to solicit business, which I think is inappropriate for a Christian site. I generally ignore them and certainly would never respond to any of them.

What if anything, can be done to stop them moving/flashing/jumping? I get the self same ads for the self same products on other sites and they are just static.

I'm running Firefox Browser with AdblockPlus and I whitelisted the forum site to see these ads and I'm still getting nothing. Maybe I need to restart my browser. I have this setup in place because of the invasive and malicious ad swarms of other websites. I didn't even know CyB had ads.

I'd leave it as is, then you won't get the ads...less you want' em that is
