You've turned this into yet another Amill vs. Premill opportunity. I asked you for proof the Premills believe in a "goat-infested world." You have provided nothing. Instead, you digress, or change the subject.

I'm fully aware that Amill and Premill view these passages differently. My point is that your depiction of Modern Premills as believing in a sin-filled world is not accurate, and you've utterly failed to provide a single reference substantiating that.

Lactantius clearly believed in a mortal Millennial world, and you haven't proven he saw this as "goat-infested" either. You're a complete failure in this regard, which means your only recourse is to completely distort the question and obscure the answer.

I detect that this is an uncomfortable subject for you, just like the restoration of the old covenant arrangement is to most Premils, but it is what you believe.

1. Is there sin in your future millennium?
2. Are there sinners in your future millennium?
3. Are there mortals in your future millennium?
4. Is there mortality in your future millennium?
5. Is there disease in your future millennium?
6. Is there decay in your future millennium?

Here is the answer from WPM to my question.

My Post 182:
"Your failure to provide what you claimed is noted. You've claimed Premillennialists view the Millennial Age as "goat-infested, etc." You've repeated this over and over, as if repeating it makes it true. And yet you're utterly unable to verify where you get this information from. At best, you take something Premills believe, and twist it to mean something worse and different. This is called "misrepresentation." And no, it is *your responsibility* to back up your own negative claims. You're copping out by claiming it is my responsibility. I'm not the one claiming to represent Premills here. You are!"

WPM Post 183: unable to answer

My Post 184: "Clearly, you're misrepresenting Premillennialism, whether ancient Chiliasts or Modern Premillennialists. You can't be trusted if you can't focus on the subject at hand and provide the relevant proofs, instead demanding that I prove otherwise.
But you're the one who is making the false claims that you can't or won't try to prove. So, the guy knowledgeable on the Church Fathers has no quotes? That's very telling!"

Your Post 185: unable to answer

My Post 187: "I'm just asking you to quote *any* Premill, Chiliast or otherwise, who have believed the Millennial Age is "goat-infested." "

Your Post 188: unable to answer

My Post 189: "Where is this "goat-infested" world, depicted by Premills, ancient or modern, brother?"

Your Post 190: No quotations provided

My Post 194: Concerning Lactantius, an ancient Chiliast: "Furthermore, where does his view of mortal humanity during the Millennium indicate a "goat-infested world?" "

My Post 197: I explain the evidences I have for believing most all of the early Chiliasts, including Lactantius, believed in a mortal world, and yet did not depict the mortal world as "goat-infested." How did any of their biblical references to the Millennial Age indicate it would be "goat-infested?" Right!--none of them do that! Neither do Modern Premills believe that their Millennial world is "goat-infested," simply because the population of the world is mortal!

Why would Modern Premills teach a mortal world that is "goat-infested" when the early Chiliasts did not, and yet still believed in the same Millennial prophecies? None of their Millennial prophecies from the Bible taught a "goat-infested world!" But those same Millennial prophecies taught a mortal world during the Millennial Period, or the Kingdom Age.

I responded to your every post. You know that. Why did you ignore my main response? Because it sums up the contradiction of your reasoning. I will repeat:

"Hello! Think about what you are saying!!!! This demolishes your claims on the ECFs believing what you believe. This is what you believe. But it was not what the ECFs believed. Why are you asking me to prove something I do not believe the ECFs believed? I never read anything more ridiculous in my life. You are clearly not getting it!"

No, actually there are 2 subjects involved in this that I absolutely love. One is the subject of eschatology--I've enjoyed that for over 50 years. The other subject involves covenant theology--I was raised a Lutheran and became a Charismatic over 50 years ago. I'm not a card-carrying Pentecostal, because I'm still grounded on theology I learned from Luther when I went through catechism as a young teen. But I did embrace Premillennialism when I became a Jesus Person.

So don't be afraid to raise these subjects with me. I'm very happy to discuss them with you or with anybody. If I seem somewhat strong with you, it's only because you remain strong with me. There is no friendliness in your approach, and that's okay. I know you strongly believe in your positions. I strongly believe in my positions, as well.

With respect to your question, I of course admit that there are mortals with a Sin Nature in the Millennium. Glorified Christians rule over them in this time period, and restrain the open rebellion of the Sin Nature against God. That is why Premillennialists characterize the era as one of international peace, with the knowledge of God covering the earth "as the waters cover the seas."

My dispute with you concerns your unceasing misrepresentation of Modern Premillennialists or even ancient Chiliasts like Lactantius who you feel characterize the world as "goat-infested." The presence of sinners in the world do not for Premills indicate the world is "goat-infested" anymore than a Christian country in this age going through a Christian revival is "goat-infested." Satan will be bound in the Millennium, according to Premills, indicating there will be much success in the restraint of evil at that time, up until the time Satan is released at the end of that time.

I'm calling for you to *stop* characterizing Premill beliefs in whatever era as referring to a "goat-infested world." That is your mischaracterization of their beliefs, which misleads others into thinking that's what they actually believe, when they *do not!*

I think you're referring to my asking you to provide quotes from the Church Fathers involving a "goat-infested world?" I was asking you for *any* Premill, Chiliast or Modern Premill, to indicate that their belief in a mortal world during the Millennium constitutes a "goat-infested world? That threw you because you do not believe the Early Chiliasts believed in a mortal humanity during the Millennium, even though you've already mentioned that Lactantius did so.

It's you who place limits on which Chiliasts you want proof from for your mortal humanity during the Millennium--not me! I'm asking for *any* Chiliast or Modern Premill, who has believed in a mortal humanity during the Millennium who characterize that world as "goat-infested?" Over a period of time and a number of repeated questioning you provide zero answers, and instead try to side-step the question, such as you are still doing even now.

Where are your quotes from *any* Premill, present and past, who characterize mortal humanity during the Millennium as "goat-infested?" Why don't I save you the time and repetition: you have none! So stop characterizing Modern Premill belief as depicting the Millennial world as "goat-infested!" You are mischaracterizing their beliefs!

And Modern Premills are not terribly different from ancient Chiliasts like Lactantius who also believe in a mortal population during the Millennium and yet did not characterize the world as "goat-infested!" I also believe the majority of early Chiliasts believed there will be a mortal population during the Millennium, even though their emphasis may be on the reward of today's Church which at that time will be glorified and will rule in splendor over the new Millennial world. Modern Premills and ancient Chiliasts alike portray the Millennial world as a rule over sin tendencies. They portray that age as experiencing international peace and an explosion of Christian knowledge.

Critically important is the notion that the Millennial Period will allow for the full development of Christian ministry to the point of a complete fulfillment of all God promised under the Abrahamic Promise. Premills believe that Christ is coming again to complete this process, which is not completed in the present era, due to the opposition of Satan and unrestrained rebellious people.

I respect the fact Amill is almost as old as Christianity itself, with many good people sharing that belief. But most of the historic Church did not have the benefit of today's news, which has seen a restoration of the Jewish People.

For me, this suggests God is going to restore the Israeli nation to Christianity as a political/spiritual reality. The fact the world has not achieved all that God has promised to Christianity is obvious to me. A major tenet of Premillennialism is that Christianity suffers continuous setbacks from Antichristian opposition until Christ returns. When Christ returns I believe he will restore Christian Civilization on earth to a state never seen before. And this will fulfill all that God promised Abraham.

I think you are playing with words here. If mortal sinners eventually grow and prosper to such an unfathomable degree that they overrun your age to come as the sand of the sea it is fair to describe it as "sin-curse goat-infested death-blighted future millennium."

Where does the Bible teach that "Glorified Christians rule over them [mortals with a Sin Nature ] in this time period, and restrain the open rebellion of the Sin Nature against God"?

Evidently, Christ (and the glorified saints) will have failed in his rule of the nations, having been overcome by Satan and his minions at the end. Christ's rod of iron will have been ineffective. Righteousness will have been overridden and wickedness will have prevailed.

What are you talking about? This is the standard Premil belief. What is more, you just admitted it.

You are having a comprehension problem. I have been carefully explaining the reference to a *mortal world* in both ancient Chiliasts and Modern Premills does *not,* for them, constitute a "goat-infested world."

But that is how you characterize their beliefs. That is your determination to make a mortal, still sinful humanity represent a world that is "goat infested."

You refuse to see that these are 2 very different realities, and certainly not what Premillennialism teaches. You are resistant to anything you don't want to hear about this.

Will you at least acknowledge that a "humanity with a Sin Nature" is not the same thing as a "goat-infested world?" If you cannot acknowledge this, you'll be proving my point, that you cannot acknowledge the basis of my argument, that you are mischaracterizing Premill beliefs.

We do *not* believe that the Millennial world will be goat-infested, and you have failed to prove they do. A goat-infested world is what can only happen when Satan is on the loose and humanity is in open rebellion. Satan will not be on the loose, for Premills, in the Millennial Period. And people will not be in open rebellion against God until Satan is released once again.

Not true! Hello! This age (and world) is indeed "sin-curse goat-infested death-blighted" just like your so-called future millennium. There is no difference.

As I said, your response would prove you don't "get it." And nothing more I can say will convince you otherwise. My only hope that others who may read will be able to differentiate between "mortal, sin-infected humanity" and a "goat-infested world."

In the current age, sin-infected humanity experiences constant change from relative peace to extreme violence, from relative justice to great injustice. In the Millennial Age, sin-infected humanity will not only be under restraint from the rule of glorified Christianity, but they will also not have Satan stirring things up.

Have a nice day. And please vote, if you are in the U.S.

1st, let me just say you once again completely failed to ask *my* questions! You want me to answer your questions, but you don't answer my questions!

For a couple of days now I've asked you for quotes from Premills indicating they believe the Millennium is a "goat-infested world," which you claim they preach. You've completely failed to do this, and don't even admit it--you just change the subject and ask your own questions.

But to answer your questions here, yes the Millennial Age has mortals, which by definition means they have a Sin Nature and will die. It doesn't take a genius to understand that.

You haven't yet apologized or indicated you will stop referring to Premill beliefs as including belief in a "goat-infested world." You need to do that, if you wish to avoid mischaracterizing what Premills actually believe.

As much as you try to sanitize your future age, the reality is: it is unmitigated bust. It is overrun by the wicked, like our age. It is enveloped in sin and sinners, deception and being deceived, crying and dying, disease and decay, war and terror, Satan and his devils. It is indeed a sin-curse goat-infested death-blighted future millennium.

LOL. You have answered it with your own words. You have admitted it. You just did. Check any thread on this forum and you will see evidence of it. Take the time to read a Premillennial book and you will find it written there. I used to believe it. I am aware what it teaches.

It is extremely notable that none of the early Chiliasts believed this up until AD270 up until Lactantius, who (notably) relied mainly upon the heretics for his beliefs. Is the elephant in the room for you. You have absolutely nothing of historic wait to say otherwise. Proof of this can be found in your failure to provide any quotes to support your claims.

Tell me this: how real, godly and genuine is this mortal "humanity with a Sin Nature" that overrun your future millennium as the sand of the sea? They may feign worship to the Lord Jesus Christ for a thousand years, but they turn in their billions at the drop of a hat from following Jesus to following Satan as the sand of the sea. These must be the most crooked, deceived, bull-headed, stubborn, stiff-necked and blinded company of humans ever to live. This is an incredible bust. It is a debacle. So much for the righteous reign of Christ on this earth. So much for the submission of the nations. The reality is: most of what Premils attribute to Revelation 20 doesn't exist. It is foisted on the inspired text.

That is your opinion, and I get that. What I don't get is your insistence on characterizing the views of Premills as if that is what they actually believe. You may characterize what you think of their beliefs, but that isn't the same thing.

My point was that *they do not teach* a "goat-infested Millennial world." The fact you won't acknowledge that and differentiate what they actually believe from your own views of what they believe is telling. You are manipulating people to view their views the way you do, instead of letting them speak for themselves.

Again, you may feel that mortal humanity in the Millennium constitutes a "goat-infested world," but that is not what Premills themselves believe and teach! You fail to acknowledge that, and that weakens all of your arguments. It's a failure to produce an honest picture of what Premills really do believe.

Having mortal humans with a Sin Nature is not the same as a world filled with sinful, rebellious AntiChristian goats. In the Millennial world I believe there will be sin. But there's a big difference between not being regenerated and living a life opposing and committing violence against Christianity.

Also, there's a huge difference between a thousand years of the rule of Christianity and a brief return of Satan, gathering a horde to oppose Christ, and then seeing it vanish like a mist. The rebellion of Satan at the end of the thousand years does *not* characterize the entire thousand year period as "goat-infested" and "rebellious against Christ!"

Again, this is how you wish to characterize Premill beliefs--not what Premills actually teach and believe. You are deliberately misleading people by failing to bring balance to your claims.

Hilarious! I've asked you repeatedly for a single quote from any Premill showing they believe the world will be "goat-infested" in the Millennial Age, and you say I will find it in a Premill book! The fact that *you yourself* cannot provide a single quote indicates this is likely an attempt to send me down a dead end trail. When you find a quote yourself, let me know?

Hello! There are only two types of people in this world – saved or lost, redeemed or wicked, sheep or goats. There is no 3rd group. Simple! Are you now inventing a 3rd group to suit your theology?

This is a non-answer, except that you're providing arguments for your opinion. For the umpteenth time, I was asking for quotes *from Premills* who say their Millennial world will be "goat-infested?" Obviously, you don't have any, but only wish to insert your logical deductions in place of what they say they believe.

I don't have a problem with you characterizing what they believe from your perspective. The only problem here, brother, is that you've made it sound like this is what *they themselves* say they believe. And obviously, they don't believe the Millennial world will be "goat-infested!" Comprendes?

This belief is a total divergence from what the Bible does tell us about the Millennium.
Here are some of the scriptures which describe that wonderful time:

This belief is a total divergence from what the Bible does tell us about the Millennium.
Here are some of the scriptures which describe that wonderful time:
Psalms 47:1-9 Clap your hands all you peoples.......Praise the Lord, King of all the earth.....
Psalms 48:1-14 The Lord is in the city of our God, ...within His Temple.... Go around Zion and see its splendour.
Psalms 93:1-5 The Lord has become King, clothed with majesty.....

Please quote each of these passages in full and underline where they actually mention some so-called future millennium after the second coming? The Premil millennium is a dumping ground for every possible passage relating to the current last days and the one-and-only NHNE that arrives at the second coming. That is because it enjoys zero corroboration elsewhere in Scripture.
