Let us however keep our ears open to hear His voice when he speaks to us. He may do so through the very words originally spoken to those early apostles. Who are we to limit God/
Could that even be a possibility Amad?

..There is no old and new testament, the Bible is complete..

But the Old and New T's are often very different in places, for example the Old says to kill witches, gays and adulteresses etc, but the New says not to do that.
Below- Jesus rescues a naughty girl from the mob-

Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel." Psalm 78:41

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27

I don't remember any saying of Jesus about gays or witches. But I remember very well Paul saying:

1 Cor. 6:9 (...) Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, 10 thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

The Christians knew of many things that they should not do because they had fully learned that in the ancient nation that belonged to God as a special possession in the past, He eliminated those who had such practices.

Since Christians worship the same God as the Jews (Rom. 3:29), they do not want to do things that they already know HE does not like. Do you think God has changed his likes and dislikes because of what men wishes?

Think on this example: In the entire NT you will not find a note that refers directly to abortion. However, in the laws given to the ancient nation of God there were specific laws in this regard. Obviously, knowing that Jehovah told his people that taking care of the child in a woman's womb was a matter that they had to be responsible for (Exo. 21:22,23), indicates that he would never be in favor of abortion... although the NT does not say so specifically.

So: how is it important for Christians to know the history and laws of Israel recorded in the OT when they were the people of God?

The same about witches.

And if our witches, gays & adultresses are now within us, that is the old man and his ways or the so-called "-ites" and/or beasts of the OT [Deut 7:1, 20:17, Prov 9:2, Col 3:5] are now to be killed by power of God within us?

We Christians don't like some of the things people get up to and will say so, but we're content to leave it to God to give them payback on judgement day..:)

The same about witches.
So you think that God wants fetuses who have zero chance to survive outside the womb to die an agonizing death? Do you think that He wants women to uselessly die because of ectopic pregnancies?

There are many sins listed in Romans (and elsewhere) which God objects to. Why don't you mention those?

Romans 1:29-31, "They were filled with every kind of injustice, evil, covetousness, malice. Full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, craftiness, they are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, rebellious toward parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless."

Snarky & I thought beneath you.
Learning about the true nature of folks that live in the dark and come to the light to distort or destroy, whatever their father puts them up to.

Keep posting folks. Seeing is a lot but not everything.

I don't remember any saying of Jesus about gays or witches. But I remember very well Paul saying:
Since Jesus is God the Son, what He said about homosexuals (not "gays') and witches is clearly spelled out in the Bible (given by God the Holy Spirit). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are always in perfect accord.

To be frank, I DON'T have to have a point !

Lots of folks write or yap w/o having or ever getting to their, yours, mine or any point.
I have read a lot of nonsensical posts, and this one clearly fits that category. What is the point of saying that you don't have a point?

The Bible is a whole, and it clearly states that Christ was the end of the law sir. You are very correct we do not kill witches, gays, adulteresses any longer under the law of the Christ. In fact if we were still under law, I would have been killed by my brothers for apostasy. That is the truth. How thankful we can be to be released from the curse of the law, yes sir, the Bible actually calls that God given law a curse.
(Galatians 3:13) . . .Christ purchased us, releasing us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse instead of us. . .

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27
No sir, you said it correctly the first time, it is not possible for us to limit God the question you asked me, and that I answered. Although the version you posted stated that point blank, this is where examining other verses can help in understanding: Ps 78:41 And they turned again and tempted God, And provoked the Holy One of Israel.ASV
Ps 78:41 And they turned again and tempted ùGod, and grieved the Holy One of Israel. Darby
Ps 78:41 They turned again and tempted God, And provoked the Holy One of Israel. World English
(Psalm 78:41) . . .Again and again they put God to the test, And they grieved the Holy One of Israel. NWT

The meaning of the actual word your version translated limited:
hwt Tavah (taw-vaw'); Verb, Strong #: 8428
(Hiphil) to pain, wound, trouble, cause pain
meaning probable

I think you already know, man has no power over limiting God, but being a caring God of Love, He certainly can be hurt from our misconduct Amad.
