If that is true then when they put your body in the ground, that is the end of you.
That is a Jehovah's Witness lie.
Dont believe it.
Believe this instead.
You are a eternal spirit , who is confined for the moment in a earth suit..... and the real you = the spirit will end up somewhere after you die.
It wont be the Grave.
You have Christ's word on that.
Does 1 John 3.4-10 teach you are not a real Christian, if you are still struggling with sin?
1Jn 3:4 Everyone who
makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
1Jn 3:5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 No one who abides in him
keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you.
Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 No one born of God
makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and
he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.
1Jn 3:10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil:
whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
So this would imply that Christians lives sinless lives, or that they were never Christians.....that's not what the passage is teaching here....
Sinless perfectionism, when you get saved, you quit sinning, sinless perfectionists believe that when they get saved you "grow" in sinlessness until they reach a point where they don't sin anymore, others would say, we don't sin because it is not us doing sin, it's our flesh, because the new nature cannot sin.
Which one are you advocating?
1Jn 2:1 My little children,
I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin,[Christians incapable of committing acts of sin?] we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
1Jn 2:2
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. [There goes Calvinism]
1Jn 2:3
And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,
1Jn 2:5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:
1Jn 2:6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
John is not contradicting himself here, my time is running out, another blackout in SA.
