1559, kind of after the fact. It is kind of what leaders when the stuff hit the fan.
Malleus Maleficarum is not a scam it is part of Catholic Church history and is well documented.
The Malleus Maleficarum was a torture manual that was produced by the command of the Pope.
So your defense of this by denying Catholic history and reality....is what? Laughable? Sad? Silly!
In 1484 Pope Innocent VIII issued the Bull Summis Desideranter, authorizing two Dominican Inquisitors, Heinrich Kramer and Jakob Sprenger, to systemize the procedures for the interrogation of witches. Two years later in 1486, they produced a manual called the Malleus Maleficarum, which is Latin for The Hammer Of Witches. The Church financed and supervised the publishing of the manuals that were ordered and sent out to all Inquisitors. This manual was published with 14 editions between 1486 and 1520, and at least 16 other editions between 1574 and 1669. All editions were printed under the supervision and the authority of the Church and distributed by the Church to the Inquisitors.
Some of the so called truths it preached was; That the belief in such things as witches was so essential a part of the Catholic faith that obstinately to maintain the opposite option was in itself heresy.
In other words, Jesus and the original apostles messed up and forgot to include a whole bunch of stuff in the original scriptures but, thankfully, the Catholic Church came along and filled in all of the missing information that Jesus and the apostles forgot to include, right? That's for sola scripturists.
Sort of.....Vicar of Christ....Supreme human authority over Church affairs?Doesn't the Catholic Church teach that the Pope is Jesus's personal representative here on Earth?
Be careful of the term cult.....it is kind of an erroneous term.Confession time. I'm 56 and was Catholic for the first 50 years of my life...and then I read the Bible. LOL. I'm glad I'm out of that cult.
The Apostles did not forget.....it did not happen yet. God nor Christianity died after the biblical era.In other words, Jesus and the original apostles messed up and forgot to include a whole bunch of stuff in the original scriptures but, thankfully, the Catholic Church came along and filled in all of the missing information that Jesus and the apostles forgot to include, right?
Perhaps. It's just that I have engaged with many hardcore Catholics on various platforms and they respond in the manner of a cultist. They're not beholden to the Bible either because they've been deceived into believing that manmade traditions are on an equal footing with God's word. Most Catholics say "whatever" to whatever is said and just go about their lives while probably 10% of them are HARDCORE adherents.Be careful of the term cult.....it is kind of an erroneous term.
I'm not following what you're communicating here but I hope it's obvious that I was being sarcastic in order to mock the point that sticking solely to scripture is erroneous and that we can and should believe the teachings of other men who came thereafter, even if it what they preach is contrary to God's word. The Apostles did not forget.....it did not happen yet. No harm no foul. The division between the Catholics and Protestants is something I have to deal with all the time. And I would think that Christ would not be happy with it either.I'm not following what you're communicating here but I hope it's obvious that I was being sarcastic in order to mock the point that sticking solely to scripture is erroneous and that we can and should believe the teachings of other men who came thereafter, even if it what they preach is contrary to God's word.

The facts can be harsh and the Catholic Church was harsh in a time period that was harsh and complicated. But the Catholic Church has apologized for its past and has improved greatly. But all in all the Catholics and Protestants live in glass houses so rock throwing is not the answer.
I go to a lot of different churches including Catholic churches and I love Christians. With that said, I REJECT the Catholic Church's doctrines on many subjects. In fact, I think they are a heretical, worldly, organization.
Gaslighter. Stop speaking for other people.Thank you for at leadst havng the courage to admit that you're moral relativist . . .
Gaslighter.Be cause we've been too putting out all of the idiotic anti-Catholic fires that YOU and others have been lighting . . .
Protestants don’t claim their Preachers are holy, without faults, and congregates don’t hesitate to prosecute, oust, or leave and go elsewhere. And the problem is even MOE prevalent in YOUR congregations.

It’s election season and so time for us to hear once again that, because the Catholic Church oppose abortion, it is waging a “war on women.”Martin Luther and the Protestants made Christianity and marriage and families go hand in hand....this was a big part of the reform. It took a while for the Catholic Church to warm up to all this.
You still refuse to admit Malleus Maleficarum was a banned book. "All editions were printed under the supervision and the authority of the Church and distributed by the Church to the Inquisitors" is a lie.1559, kind of after the fact. It is kind of what leaders when the stuff hit the fan.

Another stupid statement.Protestants don’t claim their Preachers are holy, without faults, and congregates don’t hesitate to prosecute, oust, or leave and go elsewhere.
More Nobel than than denying and hoping a coverup of immoral behavior will fade away without consequences behind a long robe and statue.
Soooo, exposing YOUR lies is an “Anti-Protestant” attack??Gaslighter.
Don’t care about your idiotic anti-Protestant attacks.
Once again, you are blind to the difference between EXPLICIT Biblical teaching and IMPLICIT Biblical teaching. The word fornication is not actually in those scriptures....nor are they talking about two people in love forming a marriage.
They are talking about sexual immorality.
Again find a requirement for a wedding ceremony in the Bible.
