How are we to reckon ourselves as being dead to sin?

Blessings John. When I first arrived to these forums you had a thread, I think it was called The parable of The Sower. And you had a teaching on it. And you were explaining the meaning of the parable as you understood it. As I was reading it, The Lord said, "put My words, word for word as I explained the meaning of the parable." So I did. And then I waited to see what would happen. Only one member came by and liked the post. Did you not like the post. Did you not like Jesus's own words. You are calling people crows here. In doing so you are saying that it is you that is sowing seed(as in the parable) and that they are the crows or the enemy. Do you not know how dangerous this is?

I'm hoping that people will realize how shallow they are....how shallow is their interpretation ...how self-serving their assessment is...that turns Christianity into another man-made religion. The very superficiality of the understanding of the bible makes it so that when these hear anything at any depth whatsoever...they cry foul...they think it's "another gospel" because it doesn't conform to their religious indoctrination.

Why else would I put up with all the rantings and religious tantrums here if not to warn people of the coming judgment?

The crows are the fowls of the air that Abram shooed away from his sacrifice to God. I make my sacrifice to God here...,for the sake of the truth and for the brothers who are paying attention from the inner man. I don't think people are spiritually awake enough to understand the scale of what I'm saying...and what we are being warned about so vehemently in the bible.

That is the danger.
I can do nothing less than speak the truth.

And so many modern believers buy into that. Because they assume that because God is love that He is in love with their flesh and their antics.

But God doesn't love us in our sins. He loves us AWAY from our sins.

I don't expect you to realize the depth of the delusion...because I fear you have already been won over by another gospel...that champions your own self-love.

God is self-less. And those who love Him must do so apart from self. (In Spirit and in truth)

That's why He resists the proud...and why it is the meek that inherit the earth.

who is the one in error .
WHO IS ONE POINTING PEOPLE TOO . FAITH IN CHRIST , or faith in themselves .

The carnal flesh reacts to the truth the way bats react to sunlight. But there is a way out. The Lord is trying to reach the inner man of faith. One must betray oneself to be with the Lord. But that takes faith that God will be there for you when you do it.

Beliefs only strengthen the carnal self. But faith takes a stand against the outer man that enslaves the person to sin.

The cross is a means of salvation...that removes the barrier to an intimate walk in the light with both the Father and the Son.

Go to the cross and realize who God is.... and who you are without Him.....and WITH Him.

The scripture that says we are seated in heavenly places I believe is the truth for all those who are born of the spirit. It's our spirit that is "there" for real, I agree with marks on this. Yes, in Christ, by His Spirit, our spirit being one with His Spirit. Heaven and spirit are not bound by space/time.....it is not some physical location millions of light years away, but the kingdom of heaven is here within and among us now.

You are always so wrong about me, and others. I guess that makes you a false prophet, I'm sorry to say. Like when you accused me of being an anti-semitic bigot. One day maybe I'll tell you a little bit about my life as concerns the Jews, if the Lord wills. If you were a prophet of God you wouldn't be accusing people falsely, the Holy Spirit would be giving you discernment. But, I'm afraid it's consistent with all the other things you turn upside down, unfortunately. I dont' know where, or at what point you went awry, maybe you were deceived to think you had put your self life on the altar, but really you haven't....at any rate you need God to show you what/where the problem is so you can get back on the right track. Praying that He will and that you will.

You asked me if I’d spoken to anyone claiming they were Christ.


I haven’t assumed the role of being the elect.
