You wrote a Novel sized response to explain the symbolic allegory of reformed eschatology, and you gave complete disregard to answering the interpretation of Luke 21:24 & Revelation 11:2, when and where was fulfillment, big smiles!

I fully agree with Gentry that Luke 21:24 & Revelation 11:2 are the exact same event seen, however it's a future event that didn't take place in Gentrys false claims of 70AD Jerusalem

Do you deny that Luke 21:24 & Revelation 11:2 below are the exact same event?

1.) Same holy city Jerusalem?
2.) Same Gentiles?
3.) Same trodden down, tread under foot?

Luke 21:24KJV
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Revelation 11:2KJV
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

It would be silly to argue that Christ made no mention of the literal destruction that historical record, not Preterism proves was literally fulfilled between 67-70 AD. Where does Luke refer to Jerusalem as the "holy city"? It was the literal city of earthly Jerusalem that ceased to be holy after Christ came in His Kingdom. The earthly city and temple were destroyed through the Providence of God in fulfillment of Christ's words "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate." And it shall remain desolate until the last Gentile to be saved comes into the spiritual Kingdom of God, and the Kingdom complete. We are living in the times of the Gentiles and have been since the advent of Christ at Pentecost. When the fullness of the Gentiles come in the "all Israel shall be saved." (Ro 11:25-26) Not an ethnic people, but all people of faith, Israel of God (Gal 6:15-16).

You're comparing apples to oranges. The Revelation was written for the New Covenant Church on earth, including chapter 11, giving both blessings and warnings of what shall come to pass as the Gospel is proclaimed unto all the earth as the spiritual Kingdom of God is being completed by peoples and nations throughout the earth.

So you finally agree that Luke 21:20 and Matthew 24:15 are parallel readings of the same events.

That's encouraging to see.
So in other words: you are more preterist than the staunchest Preterist. Those in the closet are the worst offenders, no?

That's not Preterist that's knowing historical FACTS!
Example: When a person's eschatology views Matt 24:15 Daniel's AOD, or Matthew 24:21 The Great Tribulation as being fulfilled, this is a "Preterist" interpretation

Your claim of history being a interpretation of fact is false in my opinion, as the events mentioned are future unfulfilled

I have nothing to do with Adulterer C.I. Scofield and his false teachings and beliefs as you falsely claim

You move in diversion from the fact that you believe Revelation 11:2 was fulfilled in 70AD as Preterist Ken Gentry falsely teaches, as the book of Revelation was written 26 years "After 70AD", when John was in prison on Patmos under the reign of Emperor Domitian in 96AD
John was writing history. What makes you think that he couldn't write, in 96 AD, about what occurred in 70 AD?

Your argument is risibly baseless.

How do you define a Christian that believes both the AOD and Great Tribulation has been on-going since Christ came in His Kingdom in the first century AD to build His spiritual Kingdom in heaven, sending His church with His Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit unto all the earth?

Your response is circular in reasoning

Gentry falsely claims Revelation 11:2 was fulfilled in 70AD, and covenantal agrees with Gentry in this preteris interpretation

Do you agree with Gentry and covenantee?

Rev 11:2 has been and is continuing to be fulfilled as time for this earth continues to go on.

I know what Preterism believes. However historical record affirms Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed then whether Preterits believe it or not. So continually calling/comparing Reformed Doctrine to Preterism is fundamentally untrue.
The historical record of Jerusalem being destroyed in 70AD has absolutely "Nothing" to do with fulfillment of Daniel's AOD or The Great Tribulation, these are future events unfulfilled

Luke chapter 24 is a parallel reading of Matthew chapter 24, as Luke 21:24-28 below clearly describes those seen is a "Future Generation" of believers, that will be eyewitnesses of a "Future Tribulation, and a "Future Second Coming"

"Future Events Unfulfilled"

Luke 21:24-28KJV
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Standard reformed preterist eschatology, as post # 1087 above proves you and Gentry's preterist claims in 67-70AD to be "False"

Jerusalem destruction in 67-70AD played no part in fulfillment of Daniel's AOD or the great tribulation, these are "Future Events" unfulfilled

Defined as a misled individual that teaches and believes doctrine not found in scripture

Luke 21:24-28 below alone proves your claim of a 2,000+ year "Ongoing" AOD/Great Tribulation to be false

It's a future generation that will be eyewitnesses of Daniel's AOD, The Great Tribulation, and Second Coming as seen below, read it again and again, your eschatology "Fails"

"A Future Generation, Unfulfilled"

Luke 21:24-28KJV
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

You mean Luke chapter 21.

True. And so Luke 21:20 is a parallel reading of Matthew 24:15, as you now agree.

Pure Scriptural history.
Yes correction, Luke 21

Luke 21:20 & Matthew 24:15, are future events unfulfilled, your claim of historical events is 100% "False"

It's a future generation that will be "eyewitnesses" of Daniel's AOD, The Great Tribulation, and Second Coming as seen below, read it again and again, your reformed preterist eschatology in 67-70AD fulfillment "Fails"

Look Up, Lift Up Your Heads, Your Redemption Draweth Nigh"

"A Future Generation, Unfulfilled"

Luke 21:24-28KJV
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

And what label do you give your doctrinal view? I seem to remember you claim to be postmillennial???

You've said "Luke chapter 24 is a parallel reading of Matthew chapter 24".

So you now believe that the desolating armies were seen by the Judean Christians surrounding Jerusalem, as Luke 21:20 describes.

That's encouraging to see.

Pure Scriptural history.

Where have I said the destruction of historical Jerusalem in 67-70 was fulfillment of the AOD and Great Tribulation? When Christ warns of AOD and Great Tribulation He is warning His Christian disciples. Just because they happen to be Jews does not make Jerusalem and the earthly temple the focus of the Olivet Discourse. Christ truthfully told these first century Jewish disciples the earthly city and temple would be destroyed, and His prophetic words came true. But unlike some I do not believe the literal destruction was the AOD or Great Tribulation Christ warned would come against Christians in every age, until time shall be no more.
