Only God Through the Holy Spirit can get his word through to his children...I’m not saying he won’t use you...but, he hasn’t spoken to me through you on this page.....not that I’m hearing anyway....God’s timing is perfect for His children to “Hear HIS WORD” God Bless.

As you well know, the word of God is a living word...it has to speak to the heart of his child..before there is any change..only God can do that...but, once you’ve heard HIS word, you best obey his word...that is 100% my belief.

Yes, it's emotions and going by how things "feel" that is leading many astray.

And it's sad, but unfortunately certain groups of people are prone to suicide and inner turmoil due to their own personal issues and emotional wounds. Which Jesus can help them with, if only they would receive Him and allow Him to.

And someone needs to reassure them that it's not a sin to be tempted, only to act on it. But even that tendency I believe God can heal and deliver from...there are lots of testimonies.

As I have said, God’s word must penetrate the heart of his child....another way of putting it, the Lord softens our heart/spirit, it’s not instantly softened when we become born again...I do believe we can harden our heart to God’s words, he won’t force his word onto us, I have learnt through experience, when you hear God’s word through scripture, you best listen, I’ve learnt that the very hard way, he is our Father, no one else is, only HE.....and he chastised his children..which I know only too well.....it can be extremely painful..but, HE does it out of his Love for us....my thoughts and testimony...

Also loving your neighbour?

I see quite a few on this forum arguing like crazy, and it’s not always over scripture, they get extremely personal with each other, would you agree with that?

Not referring to you @Lizbeth .....but there are a few like this, not judging them....if God’s word had penetrated their heart ,if their hearts were softened , so that they can hear the word of God....they wouldn’t be arguing would they and being extremely critical of some members, and trying to cause divisions and rifts between the brethren..also giving out laughing emojis, when a member is trying to quote scripture or be serious...that’s not of God, it’s of self...and it shows where they are in their walk with the Lord imo/ belief....lacking maturity in the Lord.

Here is God’s word about arguing....a child of God should not be arguing...I know that only too well, then one day as I was reading scripture about arguing....the living word of God spoke to me, regarding my arguing.....I 100%got that message through the Spirit....I heard his living word!......and yes we are ALL a work in process, including me...

So, my point is, if the word of God penetrates the heart of his child/ speaks to, his child through his living word, they wouldn’t be nasty with each other and arguing would they?


Self and Pride are one of the biggest barriers to hearing God’s word......imo/ belief.
Are you understanding me?.....that’s how I understand the Living word of God.

It’s not head knowledge we receive from God....it’s spiritual knowledge/ food / his “ Living” Word, ....we have the indwelling Holy Spirit in our spirit....how else do we communicate with God other than through the Spirit....we don’t communicate with him through the head.

The word is relayed to the mind through the Holy Spirit...as we are in the spirit and have a living relationship with God through the Spirit.

Remember, the word of God says, we must be BORN AGAIN...to see the Kingdom of God.....which 100% at birth penetrated my heart when I was birthed in the Spirit..are you with me?....that was the living word of God, he testified with my spirit/ spoke to my spirit that I am his child........it’s a supernatural Living birth, that only God can do.

As you can read here, the word of God is LIVING...in order to understand that, it must penetrate the heart/ spirit...it’s not head knowledge, although it must be relayed to the mind through the Spirit.

I know in my heart that the LIVING word of God is Alive in Spirit....hope this all makes sense, if it doesn’t to you, no worries, it makes perfect sense to me.....here is more scripture on the Living word of God.

Having said all that I agree it's possible to bring the word of God in a fleshly way or wrong spirit and we need to learn to discern (which is not the same thing as assume), including discerning even ourselves. We often need to allow the word of God to correct and guide our own selves.

If you aren't familiar with that passage of scrip, I thought possibly that is why you aren't understanding what is being said. (I didn't take note of that passage for many years, but in more recent years I have taken it to heart and been edified by it.) You seem to think people are talking about acting in a spirit of rejection or other wrong spirit with this, but that isn't the case. But if some people do end up acting in a wrong spirit with it, that wouldn't be the fault of Paul and his teaching.

Amen. Love this especially...."who am I, that I could withstand God?" lol - how often do we withstand Him instead of accepting and receiving what He is saying or doing? Understanding often comes later - the mind is often slower to catch up than our heart/spirit, at least mine is. (That is not to say we shouldn't seek Him for confirmation and discernment though.)

If my son was gay, I wouldn’t allow the act to go on in my home and I wouldn’t support it....I would never turn my back on him, he would be welcome into my home as well as his partner....I gave birth to all 3 of my sons....and a mothers Love is unconditional....I LOVE my sons dearly.....and God shows his love to them through me...my opinion and belief.

No problem sis, I think we're talking past each other to some extent and some of this is being misunderstood.

Regarding homosexuals...the bible speaks on thiswise concerning believers....it says, "that is what some of you WERE." So just because someone has a tendency to temptation a certain way, as long as they are not giving in to it, God doesn't count them to be homosexual any more from heaven's point of view if they are saved. But IF someone was to continue living that lifestyle of sin after being born again (whether hetero or homo or any blatant sin for that matter) they would need to be counselled and supported to stop it, otherwise it might have to be done as the scripture in 1 Cor. 5 instructs. That doesn't necessarily mean someone's family according to the flesh should reject and forsake them, but it concerns how the church family should deal with it. (And remember it is talking about believers, or who claims to be, not homosexuals who are lost souls). A little leaven leavens the whole lump....you just can't let sin and sinners take over the church, otherwise what you have isn't the church any longer, but a mockery of God. That is unfortunately happening too much today and is resulting in increasing deception and apostasy in the church of our Lord. I hope that will help to clarify this a bit.....if not we'll just have to leave it for now.

When I was younger, before the year of 2007, I was open to people who said they could hear God speak. But now days I find myself feeling scared when someone tells me this.

Why do we need to hear the voice of God when the Bible is the complete word of God?

I got emotionally damaged by someone who said to me: "God told me not to talk to you anymore". I was like that is mean! Several years later the same person tried apologizing to me, telling me that they were going through depression. The conversations kept getting weirder after that.

I used to watch a Bible prophecy program, and lots of the so called "Prophets" said they could hear the voice of God, and yet none of the prophecies came true. Which meant they were false prophets. If they would of lived in the Old Testament times, in Israel they would of been stoned for it.

With that opening statement, here is my set of questions.

Do you hear the voice of God? What do you think of people who say they hear the voice of God? Do we need to hear the voice of God when we got the Bible to tell us?

No problem sis, I think we're talking past each other to some extent and some of this is being misunderstood.

Regarding homosexuals...the bible speaks on thiswise concerning believers....it says, "that is what some of you WERE." So just because someone has a tendency to temptation a certain way, as long as they are not giving in to it, God doesn't count them to be homosexual any more from heaven's point of view if they are saved. But IF someone was to continue living that lifestyle of sin after being born again (whether hetero or homo or any blatant sin for that matter) they would need to be counselled and supported to stop it, otherwise it might have to be done as the scripture in 1 Cor. 5 instructs. That doesn't necessarily mean someone's family according to the flesh should reject and forsake them, but it concerns how the church family should deal with it. (And remember it is talking about believers, or who claims to be, not homosexuals who are lost souls). A little leaven leavens the whole lump....you just can't let sin and sinners take over the church, otherwise what you have isn't the church any longer, but a mockery of God. That is unfortunately happening too much today and is resulting in increasing deception and apostasy in the church of our Lord. I hope that will help to clarify this a bit.....if not we'll just have to leave it for now.

whether homo or hetro , SIN IS SIN . Lambs do not IDENTIFY with SIN either .
An example . A true lamb would not honor his sin and self idenditify with it .
I mean look at all the sins i did and loved .
You dont see me saying , OH I AM A LUSTFUL christain , I AM A MURDERING christain .
I am a LYING CHRISTAIN .
SO why on earth are they saying i am a GAY christain . WE DONT IDENTIFY with the sin or sinful nature .
WE HATE IT NOW . WE identify ONLY WITH CHRIST .
