Yes, Jesus told us to love our enemies while he tortures his forever in Hell. No amount of scripture will EVER persuade them to see the truth.
I believe there is a spiritual reason for their inability to come to the truth. They are deceived.
Our righteousness is in the Christ, the Son of God; JESUS!
As John 3:16 says, those who believe will NEVER die. As well, they will rule with Christ. (Rev. 20:6).
Unbelievers will die and will NOT rule with Christ.
However, Jesus's sacrifice saves ALL from eternal death. This is what you and most Christians do not understand.

Why would an all powerful, all loving, being torture people forever and for no purpose?
He doesn't. God is a creator. God is a refiner. God is a lover. God is NOT a torturer.

They have been taught that unbelievers spend eternity in hell.
Any challenge to their belief system is taken as a hell threat to them.
Afraid they will lose their salvation if they agree with us.
In other words, they aren't waxing their surfboards for our waves of teaching. - LOL

You've been given multiple scriptures that demonstrate that ALL people will, eventually, be with God. You reject God's words. So be it.
The ONLY reason that you believe in Jesus is because God allowed you to believe. Eventually, he will permit ALL to believe, although for many, they will come to faith in the hereafter.

All conditional upon believing and serving God! Universalists will have lots of blood on their hands on Judgment Day.

Haven't you read/heard that our God is a consuming fire?
Rom 5:8

Yes, in the sense that He will cleanse and rid the earth of all the wicked:
Mat 13:38-43

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Well, what do the terms perish and destroy mean to you? Personally I consider the possibility that unbelieving souls will suffer and be in torment to the extent that is exactly just according to their individual sins/iniquity and then are destroyed. Why the smoke of their torment rises forever could have to do with the spiritual realm not being bound and limited by time. ie, the past no longer exists to we earth and time-bound folks, but it does still exist to God in a way. Timelessness is not easy to understand.

@amigo de christo Well, it’s a fact. Brother does have a good memory. Brother wasn’t boasting for boasting’s sake. Brother was trying to help someone come to the truth of the bible. We are just going to praise the glorious Lord. Be hearers and doers of His glorious Word. Stay in our KJV bibles folks.
What is the context to that verse? Who was speaking to whom? What was the topic being spoken of?
