Yes, His Word to us will never fail. Love those scriptures.
Axehead
wow! Axehead i think you really mean that? and glad that we can share our faith in His Word!
You know? i dont mind a conversation about "sin" or a believer who walks in the flesh? or reaping what one sows!
My whole point from the beginning is that to look at these issues apart from the power given to us by grace through faith. Will not be helpful nor can the issue of "sin" be overcome apart from the confidence we have in faith!
Paul and the other Apostles always approached the issue of" sin", first, by reminding those in error of who they are "in Christ". Then deal with the issues from the place of strength " IN CHRIST"
1Co 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one unto
Satan for the destruction of the flesh, t
hat the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
here is an example of a believer? that brought destruction to his flesh, by his sin! but yet his spirit was to be saved! he was a born-again believer! who did not reject Christ by turning to law from faith, yet he brought judgment to his flesh by his sin?
Isa 58:4 Behold,
ye fast for strife and contention, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye fast not this day so as to make your voice to be heard on high.
Isa 58:5 Is such the fast that I have chosen? the day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a rush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him?
wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Jehovah?
Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Isa 58:7
Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou
hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Isa 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy healing shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of Jehovah shall by thy rearward.
Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. I
f thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;
Isa 58:10 and if thou draw out thy soul
to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thine obscurity be as the noonday;
Isa 58:11 and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Isa 58:12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called The repairer of the breach,
The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Mat 9:13
But go ye and learn what this meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice

Joh 8:10 And
Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee?
Joh 8:11 And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said,
Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.]
Joh 8:12 Again therefore Jesus spake unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Rom 8:1 T
here is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:15 For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:
Rom 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace.
The power over sin is received by faith! One CANNOT walk in the Spirit apart from faith! The kingdom of God is received by grace through simple childlike faith!
Luk 18:17 Verily I say unto you,
Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
