People must become as little children in humbly recognizing their helplessness and 100% dependence on Jesus Christ to save them.
Amen!!......I know nothing...it’s the Holy Spirit in me , who knows everything....

Are you really so arrogant to think that you don't use scripture to say what you want it to say? You are and do precisely what you accuse others of being and doing.
No I don’t.....I let God’s word say it for us.....yet you never want to discuss his word...you dismiss it.

Like the carnal mind, that is enmity against God....you dismissed that and said it wasn’t saying what God says it to be saying....

Romans 8:7-11 KJVBecause the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Do you know what the carnal mind is?

I don't dismiss God's word. I do dismiss much of what you think it means.

You must understand that anything you say, expect an exact quote of something from God's word, is nothing more than your opinion. Being born again and all you think "being birthed in the Spirit" implies does not change that.

As I dismiss what you believe God’s word to be saying....most of the time.....therefore will challenge you over God’s word.......I’ve posted scripture..Being Born Again is NOT an opinion.......it’s the word of God....now prove what God’s word says is wrong?

Being birthed in the Spirit, though it’s nowhere in scripture....to me it means....Spirit gives birth to spirit?

You must be Born Again to see with those eyes and new heart we received...when we became Born Again....Born of God..means Born of his Spirit?

The spiritual rebirth.....when we see his Kingdom..through the Holy Spirit eyes....hear with the ears of the Holy Spirit.....we very much have a living relationship with God...via the Holy Spirit?

God isn’t dead ...he is very much Alive in Spirit...you know that right?

You are correct, being born again is not an opinion. What you, Ritajanice, think being born again means is most definitely an opinion.

See there. That's an opinion.
You must be Born Again to see with those eyes and new heart we received...when we became Born Again....Born of God..means Born of his Spirit?
Again, another opinion.

Do you still sin? Is that from a carnal mind?
I asked you the question...in fact I’ve asked you quite a few questions, that never get answered.

Who battles with the flesh?

Do we die to the flesh....as we’re in the Spirit?

See there. That's an opinion.

Again, another opinion.
In your opinion..yes....because imo...you don’t understand what it means..yet.......so yes...another opinion.

There is much of scripture that I don’t understand as the Holy Spirit hasn’t given me revelation on that/ those scripture...he may never.

But...the one thing he has given me.....is revelation on what it means to be Born Again....for without that...you will never see the Kingdom of God.

I’ve already explained what I believe the Kingdom to be.....the Holy Spirit is in God’s Kingdom.....well, if he resides in us.......self explanatory and easy to understand...imo.

A Born Again is in the Kingdom of God on this earth......my belief and opinion.

Although God’s word does say....we are his temple......Amen to that.

1 Corinthians 3:16-1716 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.19

Oh, most of them get answered. You just don't like the answer.

On this question
What is it then?

Can a Born Again still have a carnal mind?

What does the carnal mind desire?
I think Paul answered that question quite well in Romans 7.

For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin (vv.22-25).

So what is he saying there. Does the born again still have a carnal mind? Yes indeed. So what is different? The difference is that the regenerated are not controlled by the carnal mind. They continue to be assaulted by the desires of the flesh, but they have the help of the indwelling Holy Spirit to fend off those assaults. We are not 100% successful even with the help of the Holy Spirit. But even if we are not perfect in that, we are forgiven. Sanctification is a lifelong process.

The Holy Spirit hasn't given you revelation on anything. The Holy Spirit has given you the Word of God and He will help you in your study of that to the extent that you let that happen.

Here you go again...with your assumptions
On this question

I think Paul answered that question quite well in Romans 7.

For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin (vv.22-25).

We’ve already been delivered from our body of death......when we became Born Again.

our old man is in Christ...

Ephesians 2:1 In-Context

1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

We are in the New Man...for it is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me.
2 Corinthians 5:17 New King James Version (NKJV)Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Yet...the Old man is still our old nature....I leave my flesh, to the Holy Spirit to deal with?

Why ...because I’m in the Spirit....Born Again.....Spirit Of God Birthed my spirit into his....hence Spirit gives birth to spirit?

So what is he saying there. Does the born again still have a carnal mind? Yes indeed. So what is different? The difference is that the regenerated are not controlled by the carnal mind. They continue to be assaulted by the desires of the flesh, but they have the help of the indwelling Holy Spirit to fend off those assaults. We are not 100% successful even with the help of the Holy Spirit. But even if we are not perfect in that, we are forgiven. Sanctification is a lifelong process.
Is this a commentary....please be honest?...as I’ve just read that online?

I usually let members know when I post a commentary....as it’s not our own..we just understand what it’s saying...I suggest you do the same. If you post a commentary.

The Holy Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children .....that is a “ Living “ revelation that only God can give...through his Spirit?

That’s how we know we are God’s Children.....Spirit gives birth to spirit ?

That is the Living spiritual birth?

Well, since it is not quoted scripture, of course it is commentary.
Ok, thanks..I post quite a few commentaries.

@JBO do you believe that the Holy Spirit deals with our flesh?

And do you believe the Spirit and flesh are in a battle with each other ?

The believer..has the Spirit...the Spirit battles with our flesh as Born Again...did you know that?

It’s the Holy Spirit who gets our flesh under control..of course my opinion.

Commentary.

The Holy Spirit within us resists the flesh. Getting saved does not remove the flesh, it creates a struggle against sin. This struggle pushes us to depend on God

I depend on God 100% to help me with my flesh, old man...old nature.

Praise God for the indwelling Holy Spirit....our wonderful and precious helper...without I could not survive.
