Forgive me, BOL (Nice to see you, btw), but a man as educated and traveled as Pope Francis being a bad communicator is kind of hard for me to wrap my head around. Is he reputed as such?

Why would it matter how educated and traveled he is?

There are dozens of politicians and world leaders who are just as educated and are STILL bad communicators. A perfect example of the bumbling idiot who currently occupies the White House . . .

Hasn't it been shown that he hasn't (technically, at least) "signed off" on the concept of same-sex union? I thought it had. :)

Before putting trolls in ignore, I always give them a chance to back off after the bigotry is exposed. Replies amount to further stupid baseless insults. It's not dialogue, it's not discussion. One baseless lie after another is not free speech. It's persecution.
It's a perfectly acceptable prejudice in our culture. It often rears its ugly head in discussion boards, evidenced by a useless report button. Catholic bashing is socially acceptable, even to the highest level of government, never mind discussion boards. Most Protestants I have personally met are sincere, holy Christians. and don't bother with pointless Catholic bashing.
More and more people distrust main stream media as a reliable source of anything Catholic, and a reliable source is from the source itself, not the manipulations of a biased editor or disgruntled schismatic Catholics.
