There is a higher walk with the Lord and it's price is high. By my reckoning, I've only ever acheived maybe shin deep in the Lord. And that even scares me at times. I know the deeper water is there. It takes my own effort to walk deeper into it...

He Preaches Ephesians 2:10 Which is the result of Ephesians 2:8-9, which is what I teach as well.

You see I was taught Ephesians 2:8-9 all my life, it was not until I understood how verse 10 tied to that, that the "way" of faith became evident.... By faith we move mountains. With faith nothing is impossible.... Not by power or by might but by my Spirit....

I was on my way to a side job to repair someones furnace. I wanted to do a good deed for the poor people so I prayed and asked the Lord how much I should charge them? I figured give them a hefty discount do them a good turn, and I'd get something, a few bucks for myself. It was a good plan I thought.

I agree with this. The more reward we have built up our treasures in heaven from our good deeds on earth that we have, the better our station in that life will be. I don't want to be the plumber again, lol. I'd like a desk job or an out door job but not the crawlspace! Oh no!!!

I have said this before. It goes, I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Since I am born again in spirit I can say this as a truth. I've caught flak for it from people who do not understand that it is only in spirit that we are righteous (if we be in Christ). We are at the same time, not righteous in the flesh.

That is not right. If you are walking in the righteousness of God then you cannot sin. Don't believe the reformers who make the "spirit" to be less than the flesh. God is Spirit. IS He less than humans?

You are only righteous in spirit? That's a false doctrine that causes people to be rejected by speaking against the Spirit. Grace is not something common that the flesh can wipe its feet on.

"Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?" Heb. 10:29

Please ignore all the religious hype that is being spread around as if it was actual doctrine.

That transformation is near but has nt happened yet.

The transformation is for a new body. But the purity is for now within these mortal bodies. To walk as Jesus walked BEFORE He got His resurrection body.

To exercise our faith we merely need obey, and that is how we walk in the Way.

I've always loved this passage:

Jeremiah 6:16 KJV
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Some translate this, "ask for the eternal path".

Don't just start down a path, stand there, look at the paths, and ask . . . which is the ancient path? Which is the good way? Walk in it, and find rest for your souls.

Jesus is the Way.

Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

What "he" teaches is that "doing righteousness" is righteousness.
And that is not God's Righteousness.

Not everything in the bible fits the description of "theology"...or "how to get saved". These are things that are imposed on the text. A circular reasoning imposed on the text detracts from the biblical narrative whereas there is much that can be understood if the text is left to speak for itself.

One would think that the biblical "doing righteousness" means "doing righteousness." I don't see how that detracts from righteousness. But I do see that thinking that "doing righteousness" does not mean "doing righteousness" is problematic.
