It just shows you don't know Him!!!
You don't get to make that call about someone.
This is why I say there is a spirit of pride behind your posts.

It just shows you don't know Him!!!
You don't get to make that call about someone.
This is why I say there is a spirit of pride behind your posts.
Note that I wrote" "It just shows you don't know Him!!!"
That is not my call it is what you are writing.
IF you know someone, instead of just pretending to know them, it will become apparent when you keep talking about them.
He is a person, and so knowing Him is just like knowing a person, except He is God, and the King over the Kingdom of heaven, and He wants us to listen to Him personally, and that is how we get to know Him like we get to know others. And as you get to know Him there are things that you just can't miss about Him, and things you just can say because you know Him.
Now if a person meets Him once, they don't really know Him, but just meet Him once.
If you talk to Him on rare occasions, you don't really know Him but have just run across Him a few times.
But if you actually talk to Him everyday call Today, you figure out a lot more about Him. And if you talk to HIm a number of times each day He and listen to Him He is going to be teaching you things, and giving you instructions. And you will be able to remeber some of those things, and probably write some of them down.
And if you have spent times just walking with Him and talking with Him as you walk - or if you spend time talking back and forth with Him while you are eating, and if you are decide to talk to Him about your job, you relationships, your interests in life, and reason with Him back and forth, you come to know a lot more about Him!!
And what is that you come to know about Him?
Well it is really not to hard to explain but almost impossible for those who don't really know Him to really understand!
You get to know that He loves you a lot more than you could ever understand. You also understand that He is always with you, and I mean always! So you will understand that no matter what you have done He is willing and even wants to talk to you still! And you understand that nobody, not the angels that He also sends to minister to you often, and certainly not any person standing behind a podium or not, can compare to Him.
So when you really get to know Him, your start coming to the very obvious conclusion, which is everyone needs to get to know HIm and that mean they need to seek Him and what He has to say to them.
And that is why I write, but not just that because that is also why He has me write!! He knows all this, even all this about Him, far better than you or anyone does. If in fact you even took some time listening to the angels that serve Him, they too will tell you what I am telling you - which is that we need to listen to Him!! The angels that serve Him are even more convinced of this than I am. I tell you that becuase I have also spent time with those ministering spirits that serve Him - meaning I seek first the Kingdom of God which comes with the King of Kings and also those that serve Him - and there are more with us than against us - so if you need help you can get it and get it now.
You just have to say in your heart, "Jesus Christ, I have a question for you, and then listen with your spiritual ears with a faith that believes you can hear from Him and you will!" His answer will not be what you think, because His thoughts are not your thoughts, but He will answer!!
For example - I once asked Him if He could give me the winning lottery ticket numbers. He answered, "Yes, but can you believe I might give them to you?"
Yeah - I believed that He could, but I didn't believe He would. Why would He? Maybe if He wanted to give some money to someone, for some reason, but He didn't even need to give me the numbers for that. Anyway, I concluded it was just a silly question, but He answered it!
It turns out that He is a very real person that sometimes goes by the name "I Am", because He is always there. But we just don't believe it. So we say silly things like "You have to follow the Bible!" - Now His first words to me were, "Read Your Bible", but He never told Enoch that, because there wasn't a Bible then. So a person doesn't have to read their Bible, but if you believe in Him and hear Him tell you to open up your Bible are you going to tell God "no"? But if a person is saying God talks to them through their Bible, well that just shows they don't actually know Him!! Maybe the Lord spoke a word to them at some point while they read their Bible, but the reading is not Him speaking to you!! And if you know Him and the I Am you would talk to Him while driving and not looking at your Bible. You would talk to HIm in the shower about the day you are about to start. The whole approach to you life would be different and it would show up in what you wrote!!
So silly - don't start thinking I am judging you as not knowing Him, but you should realize that what you write tells everyone about your relationship with Him!
If you had written, 'The Lord was talking to me in the shower this morning and tell me that I was going to have a busy day.' Then I would be pretty sure you did in fact know Him, or why else would you write that?? Does the devil want us to believe that Great I Am is the Great I Am who is just waiting for us to hear Him and open up?
No - the first words that snake of old said were, "Did God really say...?"
That is how the devil is! He wants you to doubt and spread doubt about the Lord being there to talk to!! So when I read someone saying that God talk to them in many ways, but not by actually talking to them - what spirit is that from? Is that not from that snake again trying to tell people that God is not going to just talk to them - and bring doubt that way?
So yeah I don't get to make the call, but didn't you show it by what you write?
Just turn to Him, as Jesus Christ some questions, and start listening to what comes to your heart, and check out your mouth also, because the word of God we preach is in fact words from God and those near you, even in your mouth and in your heart!
All those words and not a lick of understanding from you.
My relationship with Him is just fine without having the same relationship and walk with him that you do.
How is that going? This is just a personal note now:
The Lord asks me to come to this Christian forum to write and post He usually gives me some teaching or bit of wisdom, like in the OP. And it always seems to deal with getting His people to listen to Him, because the work of God is that all you come to know Him, and that means listening to Him.
So do you hear Him speak to you as hear His small voice say, "I love you"?
That is the most common words that I hear from Him - and He once told me, "If a husband loves his bride He tells her 'I love you'."
It had to do something with me telling my wife 'I love you', more often. Yet it also is the pattern I get from Him.
He will call me "son", He will call me His friend, and He tells the angels in heaven that I am His friend also. But I guess you are fine without that same type of relationship with Him? So perhaps you have a better understanding of Him, right?
He once told me:
AS INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN TO A SERVANT, AND WISDOM AND PARABLES TO A SON, AND AS JOKES ARE GIVEN TO A FRIEND, SO I LOVE YOU IS SAID TO A BRIDE.
That is the type of understanding I got from listening to Him as "UNDERSTANDING"!
Of course He also took me to Ezekiel 3 in the Bible one day and asked me to read there. And while I read there He talked to me at the same time and personalized the same type of thing He told Ezekiel then.
He was telling me on that day that He was sending me to people who should listen to Him but they would not listen to me because they were unwilling to listen to Him. That made sense because the message He gives me is "Listen to Him!" So if a person is not willing to listen to Him, then they are not going to be willing to listen to someone saying "Listen to Him" even it was said by the Most High!!
Mat 17: 5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!”
Ezek 3:4-7 Then He said to me, “Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.
“For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or difficult language, but to the house of Israel,
nor to many peoples of unintelligible speech or difficult language, whose words you cannot understand. But I have sent you to them who should listen to you;
yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. Surely the whole house of Israel is stubborn and obstinate.
Now He certainly does not have to tell others the same thing He tells me. He had me open up a Christian bookstore once but He didn't ask me to part the Red Sea. So He will give different instructions, but who are you if you don't personally hear instructions from Him. Are you servant a servant of His?
And He certainly does not have to give you personally the same sayings and parables that He gives me, but since He opens His mouth in parables and sayings, are you even His son or daughter if He is not teaching you?
Ps 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable;
I will utter dark sayings of old,
And since Isaac was the promised son to Abraham, and Isaac means laughter, are we even receiving the promise of friendship the Lord has for us if we don't every hear the lighter side of Him?
He once told me some chicken jokes. One of them was:
There were 3 chickens in the barnyard. A big fat chicken. A medium sized chicken, and a little baby chicken. Which one did the fox go for?
The answer was: The one farthest from the dog of course!
So it doesn't matter if you are a big fat Christian, or a medium sized Christian, or a little baby Christian. That Old Fox is always going to attack the Christian farthest from God, right?
And is He so uncaring about who He loves so as to not even tell us personally that He loves us? Perhaps, just perhaps, we are not listening to Him like we should?
So if we are not getting instructions, wisdom, jokes, and those words 'I love you' from Him; it is not because we are not listening to Him like we should, is it?
How is that going?
- Any fruit?
- Any readers?
- Any Likes?
You are familiar with the definition of insanity, right?
Doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.

If you ask most Christians if God is omni-present they will tell you He is. If you ask them if God is wise, they will say yes. If you ask them if God is loves, they will tell you He is. If you ask them if all things are possible with God they will say yes. But if you ask them if He speaks to them today so they can listen to Him, then we get into a problem.
It is not that all the above is not true, but it really comes down to us not wanting to listen to Him. We don't want to even admit that to ourselves, of course. Perhaps we think that God is far too great to spend time with us. Or perhaps we think we are not worthy for such a great God to concern Himself with us.
So maybe we then tell ourselves that though He is omni-present He does not come and talk to us. He only talks to "the saints", which of course all died many years ago. Or perhaps we tell ourselves that God gave us all the wisdom we need so He never wanted to talk to us anyway. We might say to ourselves that died and has either gone to heaven and lives there until He returns some day, or perhaps He is still dead and will return from there someday.
Anyway we look at it; our conclusion must be that He is not around or does not want to talk to us, because we don't hear from Him!!!
We would listen to Him if He was talking to us, right?
Wrong - that is not what the Bible explains. The Bible explains that He is just standing there talking to us but we won't open up to Him and listen. With our ears we scarily hear, and with our eyes we don't see. So we read things in the Bible like, "If My people would listen to Me"
Ps 81:8 “Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you; O Israel, if you would listen to Me!
Yet we as a group are not willing to accept that reproof, and that is clear by our actions!
Of I am not say that some might hear from Him at some time. Every once in a while, if it is put in a way that means we personally don't have to listen to Him, then we might accept a testimony about someone hearing from Him.
So perhaps we can go to a big place, (a church maybe?) then on a rare occasion perhaps the man behind the podium might actually have a testimony about hearing from the Lord, but that does not mean we should be hearing from Him! After all, that man behind the podium might be one of those rarely seen saints, though he is probable just someone who had a rare encounter with God, right? It must be that, because that man then lifts up a Bible in his hand and says that is the Word of God - implying of course that God is not omni-present, loving, not standing there wanting to talk to us.
Forget then what we actually read in the Bible, but go by what he tells you, and that is that you have to go by the Bible as the Word of God!
I have heard it, and it used to give me problems hearing from the Lord everyday and then hearing that man behind the podium explain that we have to go by the Bible instead of listening to the Lord our God. If I was to bring up this problem, they would tell you that I was listening to demons, but what they could not comprehend was that the Lord is going to make you aware of demons, and the dark spirits, Oh, they might and do trick you at times, but if you know the Lord is it not hard to just ask Him about what is going on and get an explanation. It is also not hard to ask Him for some help with them and get it, unless He has a purpose, like with Paul and that throne in His side.
So the more you know the Lord and talk to Him, the more you understand about what is going on around you. And you then find out that often the man or woman behind the podium is not seeking the voice of the Lord themselves! One pastor told me that he not heard the Lord for over 13 years, but that didn't stop him from preaching in front of the church every Sunday during that time. Another pastor told me that He had only heard the voice of the Lord 3 times in his life, but that didn't stop him from preaching behind the podium every Sunday for years. Another time there was a woman preacher that was saying, 'This is my message", and she actually believed in hearing the Lord often, as did the rest of her family, Still, the Lord asked me to tell her to start by telling the people "this is His message, and don't lie"!
Now the Lord asked me to bring this message, that He is indeed there and wants His people to listen to Him. He gave me a rough idea of how He wanted it presented, but I tend to write too much and not bring a message from God like Him, the Word of God.
That is His message, which again I might point out is just us preaching the Word of God, meaning listen to Him!!
Do it and quit pretending!!
If you are a pastor and don't listen to Him when preparing a sermon, then He knows it! He is even there speaking to you, the pastor behind the podium! That sometimes seems hard to believe when I listen to the preachers behind the podium. Like this last week at the church the Lord has me go to. The pastor explain that He was going to bring 'the word' and pointed to his Bible. He said that on Fridays he prepared his message, but gave no indication that he listened to the Lord in doing so. He seemed to explain that it was his work, and it took a lot of his time.
This message mostly took some time because it is too long to write it. I didn't take a minute for the Lord to speak to me. Tell me that He wanted me to write and give me the general theme, which He explained was just a continuation of this thread. Anyway, it is too long, so I don't see how anyone is going to read it and then actually seek Him. But it is a lot shorter than your Bible, and those writings tell you the same thing, "Hear, O Israel" - so will you?
Can God speak to all like He speaks to you? Yes. Does He, no. He doesn't speak to me the same He speaks to you. He speaks to me through what I read in the Bible.
The above conclusion is not "biblical"!!
The Scriptures are good for reproof, according to the Scriptures - so again I will reprove the above false conclusion!
First let me prove, via the Scriptures, that they are good for reproof and training in righteousness (being right)
2 Tim 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
Because of the above, it is worthwhile reading and studying the Scriptures! Indeed the first words I heard from the LORD OF LORDS to me were, "Read Your Bible". Afterall He is supposed to be our Lord and a lord does give instructions. He is also the Teacher, and as He once told me, "What teacher doesn't put before His students today a book..." That might not always have been the case, but today people read and so the Scriptures were provided for "teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;"
Still reading a textbook is not listening to the Teacher!! Of course we know that but some don't understand this simple thing!
So how does the Lord speak to us. Well, He speaks to us vis His Holy Spirit who speaks to our spirit the words our Lord has for us! As proven by this verse:
Jn 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.
So it is not the Bible but the Holy Spirit who gives us His words!!!! And that is according to the Bible. To say otherwise is just not "Biblical", nor is it from God. It might be from a religious spirit though, and we do battle with the dark spiritual forces of this world! And even John the Baptist was blown around by the wind (spirits). I can give you verses on that too, but so I don't get side tracked let me go to these two verses."
Jn 5:39,40 You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.
So in the Bible Jesus Himself, when dealing with the Jews (God's chosen people who told to Hear the Lord) and they (as a group in general) were searching the Scriptures instead of coming to Him!!
Therefore reading and searching the Scriptures are again proven by the Bible to not be the same as going and hearing from Him!!
And this problem of leaving Him and hearing from Hm also happened in the early church, and we see the proof and the influence of the dark forces in these verses:
Gal 3:1-3 You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?
This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
Now note that the Galatians were "bewitched" which should make us aware of those dark spiritual forces and what they are up to. They want us to move away from the Holy Spirit. So Paul only wanted to know one and only one thing? Did that receive the Spirit by works of the Law or by hearing with faith! Reading is not hearing with faith. And from Jn 6:63, we are to hear "words" from the Holy Spirit!!
But least that not understand what Paul was explaining, Paul cover this this a bit more:
Gal 3:14 in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Now it does not take any faith to read our Bible. But it does take faith that Jesus Christ is there for us in order to hear Him via His Holy Spirit and listen to those words that come directly to us via the Holy Spirit! Remember that Abraham did not have any Scriptures to read at that time, but He heard the Lord, even in a vision, and believed and that was counted to Him as righteousness ( I will provide those Scriptures, Gen 15) down below a bit)
So that being the case, the Scriptures were never going to save anyone!!!!! But rather they were intended to lead us to Jesus Christ, and faith in Him!
Gal 3: 22 But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Now be simple reason a person should be able to read the Scriptures and realize that the Lord is there for us to personally listen to. Yet if you need still more proof let me provide my favorite Scripture:
Rev 3:20 ‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
The above is the gospel in a nut shell. He is just standing there talking and all we have to do is open up to Him. You don't have to have a Bible to do that. Abram did not have one. But you do have to believe that He is there wanting to talk back and forth with you!! That Bible explains this! And so we find that He is there to talk to us about the littlest things in our life, if we come to know Him!
Is 30:20,21 Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
Now this is what I have been saying! That He is there for anyone who cares to believe in Him and open up to Him, so you and Him personally can talk back and forth, even about when to next turn to the right or to the left!! The Bible can not tell you the best way to go to work on any given morning, but He actually can! Still, if you know Him you might find the best way was to drive by and accident so He can have you pray over it. I know He has done that with me lots of times!!! I could tell the people posting here, but some can not accept my testimonies about Him!
After all it was also written to some things like:
Is 30:1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the LORD,
“Who execute a plan, but not Mine,
And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit,
In order to add sin to sin;
Many, even at the different churches, are making alliances with religious spirit (demonic angels) and they (the evil angels) don't want those with ears to hear to hear what the Holy Spirit has to say to the church! The following was written to each of the angels at the seven different churches written to in the book Revelation:
Rev 3:6 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Rev 3:7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ...
Rev 3:13 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Now we don't battle with flesh and blood, so this is not a battle with "Naomanos," or any other person posting on this forum. But I write so they will consider and then actually seek to hear from Jesus Christ personally!!
So now I will post the Scriptures that show how Abram, without any Scripture, heard from the word of the Lord personally and believed that He was the Lord and that was counted to Him as righteousness!
Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying,
“Do not fear, Abram,
I am a shield to you;
Your reward shall be very great.”
Gen 15:6 Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.
All those writing the Bible were about getting people to actually listen to the Lord personally, but who can believe that He is there to actually speak to us? If they care to believe they will find that the Word of God, and indeed the Word of God we are preaching, is found in their mouth and hearts - not in their Bible. And that is what the Bible explains, so it is good for reproving those who don't understand!
Rom 10:6-8 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down),
or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,
He is a person, and so knowing Him is just like knowing a person, except He is God, and the King over the Kingdom of heaven, and He wants us to listen to Him personally, and that is how we get to know Him like we get to know others. And as you get to know Him there are things that you just can't miss about Him, and things you just can say because you know Him.
Now if a person meets Him once, they don't really know Him, but just meet Him once.
If you talk to Him on rare occasions, you don't really know Him but have just run across Him a few times.

I'm so glad for you. It's great to hear about people's relationship with their Creators. It's like They designed and created us so that They can have a dynamic, personal, interactive relationship with who They created. You are correct Brother. He is a person and we want to be friends with Him. A friend thats closer than a brother. When I had that ephipheny (SP?) one day I figured, why say a short prayer in the morning and leave the Lord behind at home to go to work.? Well I goota go to work. So what. So I started inviting the Lord to come with me to work and I'd talk to him all day long driving around between service calls.
And that's how I accidently taught myself to be able to hear the still small voice of God! I fgured, you don't invite your best Friend and Creator of the Universe and then ignore Him and turn on the radio! You just don't so I was aware of the presence of God all day long (still am) and talking to Him and then pausing to listen to Him when I asked Him a question or something. And I started hearing Him. A scripture would pop into my head or I would have a thought right after asking Him, and whatever came into my mind, I took as His answer. Just mind games between service calls, right! Except it turned into an actual conversation! One time I did turn on the radio and he told me to not listen to the radio. I havent turned that radio on again ever since!
Now it's kind of like He talks to me all the time even more than I talk to Him! I had difficulty on one Job and couldn't fix it somehow. and I thought, you brought the Lord to work with you and then left Him in the truck! I was packing up my tools and wondering what I am going to say to the customer because I gave up. And then the customer came down and flipped the power switch on and the furnace fired up real smooth and ran fine. The Lord fixed it for me!
The Lord told me that He doesnt want to have to do a miracle for me every time we interact (as in I talked to God today, and He spoke back to me!) because He likes to use miracles in front of more people so there is more conversions. He wanted me to learn to hear His still small voice, and obey immediately.
When we don't talk to God enough it's like, its harder to tune in to God. You lose it. It takes continual talking and praying to Him to tune in real good and stay tuned in. It's like He turns the volume up the more you as they say, pray without ceasing.
I like how you think.

I appreciate and I'm encouraged by your expressed desire KP. I think the part of the communication that is under emphasised and practiced to a lesser degree is the listening, hearing and understanding.it is that I want others to come to know Him too! For me, I wish everyone knew the Lord like MA2444 knows Him. They too would understand quickly that the more you listen to Him the more you can hear from Him - and many other little but very important things like that which only come from walking and talking with our Lord Jesus Christ!!
The above is soooooooo important to understand!!
It is something people who indeed know the Lord understand and will even talk to others they know who also know the Lord. It is one of the things, and there are actually many such things, where you only really only learn from spending time talking with our Lord Jesus Christ.
It seems that the Lord wants us to talk to Him sooo much that He made it easier to talk to Him when we are talking to Him and seeking Him a lot, and harder to hear and talk to Him when we don't. It becomes obvious pretty quickly when you practices hearing from Him, and so it encourages those who talk to Him to get more from Him. It is a pleasure and an honor, if we care to believe it, to talk back and forth with Him. Yet He is not pretentious. He will talk to you like a friend, though He is the King. He will talk to you with love, because He is Love. He will know the exact words to tell you, so they usually tend to sooth and calm you. Of course He might also need you to do something for Him, because He is also the Lord. And you may not want to do it, but if you believe He is indeed the King and your Lord you are probably going to wind up doing it. And if you do it He will talk to you even more!
Many have read:
“For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him."
But not all understand, like MA2444 does!
I have mention that people posting here write things and it doesn't take too long to realize who really knows Him and who does not. That of course is not mine to judge, but it just become obvious when you have gotten to know the Lord personally yourself. And if you have indeed gotten to know Jesus Christ personally yourself; don't you want to help others get to know Him personally?? He is worth actually knowing. And it is a pleasure to read from others like MA2444 who do clearly know Him, as can be seen by what they write.
It is not that I am seeking to please MA2444, or come into agreement with Him, but it is that I want others to come to know Him too! For me, I wish everyone knew the Lord like MA2444 knows Him. They too would understand quickly that the more you listen to Him the more you can hear from Him - and many other little but very important things like that which only come from walking and talking with our Lord Jesus Christ!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Mine on the other hand is different now. The less I read the bible the easier it is to hear His voice. The more you read scripture the more you can Believe it. The less you read the harder it is to tune in to the Lord's still amall voice.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Mine on the other hand is different now. The less I read the bible the easier it is to hear His voice.
I used to consult the Holy Bible at the expense of the Holy Spirit.
Since I started to neglect the bible and started consulting the Spirit I began to hear and understand, see and perceive new truths from God about God not contained within the pages of the bible.
But like yours, my experience is different to some.
