It's mot so much as not wanting to get out in to the mess... it's that doing so rarely produces fruit when you are trying to help people who have no interest in walking with the Lord.

We need to be led by the Lord in who we help as many don't want the Lord at all and when that's the attitude all one can really do is plant God's Word, pray over the Word that was planted and move on.

You know the old saying... you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him whistle dixie! View attachment 40635

Yeah, why would a Christian want to help people who don't want to be Christians? Especially if they're your own children.

You know the old saying: "You can lead a horse to water, but you shouldn't because he might not drink."

We have to keep things under wraps or church folks go ballistic.

Yeah, we gotta let the gay people in to churches and not say anything to upset them... never mind that they are influencing others to become corrupt /sarcasm (for those who don't understand what that is...)

Pastors are called to protect the sheep... not allow wolves to come in undercover so a good pastor would not allow gay people to attend their church unless they have repented of their sin and have turned away from being gay.

And of course this applies to other grievous sins as well as true pastors actually protect the sheep.

I see you're back.

.
There are 3 ways we can look at this.

a.) You are wrong and i am right.
b.) i am wrong and you are right.
C.) We are both wrong and only God is right = therefore we submit to His Word that we may be SAVED

This is a Open Book quiz

Any subject that God spoke to us from His Word.

Answer is 'C' as in Christ

All of us are under One Word that speaks LIFE or Death = choose LIFE that we may LIVE

Sin, and in this case homosexuality, only brings Death.

"In the Beginning God made them Male/Female" = this is the Way that leads to Life = God's Way

When HE created Adam & Eve they were Married the very INSTANT that Eve came from Adams Body.

That's deep, Dave.

I'm glad God spoke to you from His Word that Adam and Eve were married the moment Eve was created.

He chose not to let me in on that. I figured it was remotely possible that there was some brief ceremony or something that He might've chosen to leave out of the story—part of that whole "blessing and multiplying" thing He had going on with Creation Week.

Like the way He blessed the Sabbath and multiplied it. There's been hundreds of thousands of those, you know.

But maybe we're both wrong. We'll see.

Let us look at this from the perspective of a child.

Who else was Adam going to marry?

exactly

Who else could Adam 'court'?

Can you SEE what that word implies?
It might be a bit different with Adam, though--as also he was never "birthed", didn't develop in a womb, and didn't "grow up", but was born as a man--since Eve was literally from his flesh, whereas other men "become" "one flesh" with their wives, Eve was Adam's own "body" (as the Church is called "the body of Christ").

Which MAGNIFIES every truth and question that i have presented from the Word.

Not even sure what the point of Adam being affianced to Eve pertains to, just noting.
Adam was not affianced to Eve for he was married to Eve the moment God created her from Adam's rib.

How do we KNOW this to be 100% TRUTH?

There's actually a funny question as to whether Adam had a belly button, because he never had an umbilical cord. LOL
But maybe he was just created with one.

Yeah, I think I could get on board with that.

Here is how we KNOW = God said so..................

And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

23And Adam said:

“This is now bone of my bones = "now' not later but NOW
And flesh of my flesh;

She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”

24Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
