Bringing Thoughts : To the Obedience of Christ

At some point after Salvation........a Believer has to stop being a Hebrews 6:1 carnal baby, and start getting their enlightenment, and grow spiritually.

So....What does that mean?

It means that the Believer has to come to understand that Salvation is not something you do, or keep.
Its something you received as a sinner, that God Almightly has provided Through Christ, alone.

You must learn this in your heart of faith, or your faith will never grow and your christian maturity will stagnate and stay that way, until you die.
Sure you'll learn some theology, but you wont receive any revelation.

Now, Let me show you a verse...

1.) "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ". .

Now, this verse says that there are "high things that exalt themselves AGAINST the knowledge of God".

So, this means that you need to get the knowledge of God, pertaining to one thing specifically, and as you reach for this enlightenment "high things" are going to try to prevent you from getting this enlightement, and they will try to take it from you, once you have it.
What are those "high things"?..........they are your carnal mind that tries to DO Salvation, earn it, and work for it, and try not to lose it.
See.......this is wrong faith, and its the "high things" in your head that work against enlightenment which needs to come to understand how to "work out your salvation".

2.) Reader, to work out your salvation, is not to work at it........its to exist IN IT, according to enlightenment, or "the knowledge of God".

So, those "high things" that try to prevent you from gaining revelation, are your carnal beliefs, regarding how God gives Salvation to you, and how its eternal.

The rest of the verse explains that you are to "CAST DOWN" these self righteous thoughts that try to drive you to believe wrong.
So, to bring those into captivity, so that they dont keep interferring with your access to revelation from God, that comes from the word of God........you have to bring those carnal thoughts DOWN... to the : "obedience of Christ".

What does that mean?
It means that you have to get the revelation that Jesus is your FULL Salvation. He is Eternal Salvation, and He is the reason God accepts you, and for no other reason.
You have to come to the revelation that you are ""complete in Him""..not by works, or self effort.....but only by being "IN Christ".

3.) Reader, its Christ's OBEDIENCE that He has completed on The Cross....as the finished work of CHRIST as your Sacrifice on The Cross that is the ONLY REASON God will have you, forgive you, save you and keep you.
Reader we are not worthy to be saved. We have to be made worthy, by the eternal redemption that is found as Christ's Blood and death sacrifice to GOD... for you.
So, you have to take any thought that tries to NOT BELIEVE THAT, and cast it down, and replace it with the knowledget that Its Christ's Obedience to God, that God has taken on YOUR BEHALF, for eternlty, that is your Salvation.
You have to get this RIGHT FAITH< and this correct understanding of God's Grace and HOLD ON TIGHTLY.....every day.

You have to stop trying to PERFORM for God, hoping to be worthy enough for Him to Keep.......As its only Christ's Obedience on The Cross that God will accept to accept you and keep you.

You have to put on this """Helmet of Salvation""...REVELATION....= every day, because the world, your flesh, and the devil, will try to corrupt your faith, and have you trying to PERFORM for God, to try to stay saved, and that is literally rejection of Christ on The Cross.

4.) Paul calls this wrong mind, "Fallen from Grace".. "In the flesh" and "to not obey the Truth"........so, you have to maintain your clear understanding of WHO is your Salvation, and let that mind become your mind of Faith.
Hebrews 13:9, explains this as "establishing your HEART with (God's) Grace"... (KJV).
You have to get to the place in your understanding of God's Grace... so that you understand ALWAYS that Jesus didnt just save you, He keeps you saved.
This has to become your Heart of Faith , or you are still under the deception and carnal mind control of those "high things" .. your carnal thinking, your carnal mindedness... that is refusing to accept that the "obedience of Christ" on The CROSS = is the only reason you are accepted by God, forgiven by God, and kept by God.

Jesus puts it differently Luke 21:36 "Watch and pray always that you be able to escape these things and to stand before the Son of Man".

Jesus does not want us to 'prove something to the world', not even to know the scriptures that prove us the most, but to be able to resist the evil one and uphold God in His Glory.

My Thread is explaining how to perfect your discipleship, while you are on this earth.
Paul teaches this as......."as many as be perfect"........and to mature into the "fullness of the stature of Christ".

Now, if the reader is water baptized, believeing they are saved, then you've not even become a Christian Yet.
So, get that resolved, and then begin to work out your "gift of Salvation"", by gaining revelation knowledge that Paul teaches.

Lets start slowly. So if I u understand you correctly you're saying that we are "given" salvation. Is that right? Just yes or no will do.

1.) John 14:6.......Jesus says that ""no person comes to the Father but by HIM", = The Cross of Christ.

This means that Jesus is the ONLY WAY To The Father.

2.) Jesus on The Cross, has offered HIMSELF to God...... a sinless Sacrifice......by Blood and Death, for the forgiveness of all our sin.

This is "Salvation". which is to be forgiven and reconciled to God by the blood and death of Jesus on The Cross.


Now....How do we get it?........How does God supply it to the SINNER?

("Jesus came into the world to save SINNERS").

3.) We RECEIVE it by Faith........as Our """"Faith is counted by God as (Christ's) Rightousness."""

Simplified understanding....

The Cross is a DIVINE EXCHANGE where we come to Jesus by Faith, and Jesus becomes our: """ONE TIME... Eternal Sacrifice for Sin""..
This can also be explained as The GREAT Exchange.

"God hath made Jesus to be SIN....for US".

4.) So Jesus becomes our sin bearer and dies for our sin, and we RECEIVE FROM GOD..."Christ's righteousness"...so that we are "made righteous".. .having become = "the righteousness of God in Christ"...as a "new Creation".. "in Christ".. as "ONE With God".

5.) This is to become eternally forgiven and BORN AGAIN... = Spiritually.

Salvation is 3 Gifts from God.

1.) 'The Gift of Salvation"
2.) "The Gift of Righteousness"
3.) "The Gift of Eternal Life".
