Is Windows 10 better/safer/less intrusive then Windows 11 ???
Its just that Windows 11 has that Co pilot Recall, which I find is invasive, it takes pictures of what you write every 5 seconds, what if that gets hacked? You just never know with these things, it just feels like backdoors are being created using AI there are no laws for AI so it can be used for anything, why knows? The whole tech industry is creepy and most of the seem to have no morals so why would want to trust their invasive installations and psuedo reasons for insisting they are ther (despite all the protests against them)? It makes no sense unless they intend for these to do more than what they say they are for.
This is probably not the best video, I cannot recall the few I had watched, but many people do not want Windows 11, for that Co pilot Recall thing.
Many people do not want to change over so they are now offering a free ESU upgrades for an extending period of time, and then there is this on this play.
For me, I dont do online banking or store any financial info online, or have subscriptions, or anything like that, so using a computer is purely for studying, and Christian community.
And so my thing is, I do not want a Microsoft account, I do not want AI or Recall, or to sign up for something that requires subscriptions. I dont do subscriptions because getting out of them (or ending them) has proved to be almost impossible with many of these corrupt corporations which end up putting you on an AI loop (taking your money anyway (with the banks allowing for it). There is another video showing what those who have asked for subscriptions to end and wht they are putting people through (Requiring certified mail cancellations, received three times even with signiture required while still taking the customers money monthly etc). To me these things are just one big trap, I just want nothing to do with it.
So I am just purchasing older Windows 10 laptops to use offline only, because thats another thing (which I have heard more than once) in order to use Windows 11 (whether its the newer version) you need a Microsoft account to even use what you purchased (even if using it offline). That just is not acceptable to me. So I might experiment with a couple of laptops, by letting them go, and when they fail, end my time online. Because there is no need for me to be online, I can study offline (as I do online) even though I prefer the online tools, I have created my own little keyword search engine on a few flashdrives that work more perfectly for me. But I would miss participating on a Christian forum from time to time. I have been getting ready for this for some years so if the plug was pulled on me I would be completely unaffected by it. I am glad did all that though.
Edit: Windows 11 not 10 has Co pilot
