Creed's and dictionary's are not how children of God are to study to show ourself approved.

The teachings of man will always lead you astray.

Do you reject the Apostles’ Creed?

I still don’t understand why you say God is plural and write it as singular. I’d like to hear your explanation.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion...
Genesis 1:26

Moses gave us the plural pronouns that represent God, Elohim.

Elohim = Plural - The eternal Godhead.

If you reject Moses, then so be it.

God (singular) is speaking to his heavenly court.

Elohim = Plural - The eternal Godhead.

I don’t reject Moses. The translators don’t reject Moses. God is singular.

Moses gave us the plural pronouns that represent God, Elohim.

Everywhere else Moses gave us the singular personal pronouns that represent God, elohim.

What do you do with those?

It’s not poor English. It’s recognition that John is speaking in his prologue about God speaking the creation into existence. The same God who did that is at work in the new creation.
The translators of the Geneva Bible were strict Trinitarians. They just chose to refer to the Logos as to "it" instead of in a gender manner.

Those who accepted His teachings were rejected by Israel, too.

That’s right. Unbelieving Israel vs. believing Israel.

Christian monotheism is not the monotheism of Israel.

It was in the days of Jesus and the apostles. The church moved away from it. That is what the A.E. Harvey quote that I shared with you is about.

The church gradually moved away from the monotheism of Israel. (Dr. Brown’s book Heresies is very good showing that.) I haven’t.

Given that you’ve said that you aren’t a trinitarian -

Post in thread 'Jesus submitted to his God'
Jesus submitted to his God

- what does that say about the Nicene Creed?

Why did they do that?
You would need to ask them instead of speculations, but grammatically, the word "word" does not have a gender in English. It does in other languages.

Do not look for some "Jewish monotheism" in a Calvinistic translation, be rational.

Believing Israel = Christians.

Yes. These are Jewish monotheists who believe - against unbelieving Jewish monotheists - that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, Son of the living God.

New, revolutionary teachings not known in the "Jewish monotheism" you identify with.

I identify with believing Israel.

John knew perfectly well what “word” meant. He was drawing on his background in the Hebrew Bible. The trinitarian translators recognized that.
