I rejected your false teaching two years ago. Who on this forum has believed what you’re peddling?

Chapter 8 of Matthew has 34 verses. I read verses 1-17 this morning and will read verses 18-34 on Saturday.

I just finished reading Matthew 8:18-34. That completes my obligation to @Riven. It was a test which I believe benefited both of us. I’m thankful for having shared the experience with him.

“And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your seed after you.”

Yahweh is the God to Abraham and is the God to the Messiah.

”And if you belong to Messiah, then you are Abraham’s seed - heirs according to the promise.”

(Galatians 3:29, TLV)

Yahweh is the God to Abraham, the God to Jesus, the God to all who belong to Messiah.

Yahweh is the God and our Father.

That’s the hound of Jewish monotheism.

If you meet someone who tells you that Jesus wasn’t a Jew, or that he isn’t still a Jew, then you’ve met someone who‘s deceived and deceiving.

The Nazi government tried to strip Jesus of his Jewishness in the Third Reich. That’s a famous example. It still happens in our day.

You’re reading about the real Jesus, the Jesus who was and is a Jew, in Matthew.

I finished reading the book. I wasn’t so much interested in Bonhoeffer - though the story of his life is interesting - as I was about the Nazi attempt to excise Jewishness from Christianity. This was a good read.
