You asked me

Who do you think was that other one that will be received is?

I replied,

Couldn't really tell you, specifically who this person might be?

You replied

I think it is referring to Paul.

Me,

This time I answered why I did not think it was Paul, Jesus was speaking to the Jews and they wanted to kill Paul
Yes,I know what was posted. I was there.

Scripture interprets scripture

This is a common error which led numerous Christians to come to absurd or heretical conclusions. Context (textual, cultural, linguistic...) and the basic principles of faith (for example "the NT explains the OT") interpret Scriptures.

One can put one verse next to another and create a "Lego" construct which was not meant to be in that way.

Yeshua was God's power made flesh on Earth.
This does not sound right. It takes away the personality of the Son. It is like the Jehovists (or some similar group) saying that the Holy Spirit is simply the power of God, not a specific distinct person.

It's about time somebody said that.

Jesus, Son, as Lord and Christ, and Priest forever

Psalm 110:1 [[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD (God, the Father) said unto my Lord (Jesus, His Son),
Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Speaking of the Son of God as priest for ever

Psalm 110:4 The LORD (God, the Father) hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou (Jesus, His Son) art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Shows here, that Jesus did not glorify himself to be made a high priest

Hebrews 5:5 ( So also ) Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he (the LORD, the Father) that said unto him (Jesus Christ), Thou art my Son, (( to day )) have I begotten thee.

Which was fulfilled when He was raised him from the dead

Acts 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, (( in that)) he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, (( this day )) have I begotten thee.

Acts 13:34 And (( as concerning )) that he raised him up (( from )) the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise,
I will give you the sure mercies of David.

The teaching of @David in NJ says that you are. Continue looking and let me know if you see it.

I have seen the definitions, which he posted which include the plural (gods) in it

Gen 1:26 And God ('elohiym) said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

For example

God ('elohiym)
  1. (plural)
    1. rulers, judges
    2. divine ones
    3. angels
    4. gods
  2. (plural intensive - singular meaning)
    1. god, goddess
    2. godlike one
    3. works or special possessions of God
    4. the (true) God
    5. God
If you just go with God + Let us

Gen 1:26 And God ('elohiym) said, Let us

One can either conclude that God (singular) is a they /them

I have no other way to describe that, so... you gotta forgive me since you keep pressing David in NJ's postings on me, I am only guessing how another might see this

“One gods” isn’t a biblical concept. It means absolutely nothing.

Would you be interested in buying some square circles from him?

It‘s false teaching. If you don’t speak against it and some poor soul believes it, do you bear any responsibility?

Why do you keep pressing this with me? This seems really odd

Why are you not pushing back against his “one gods” teaching?

Do you think it’s harmless?

I havent read it really.

I jump in and out of threads, I dont read everything, @David in NJ , dont say God with an "S" on the end

Psalm 45:6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Psalm 45:7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

You might perceive two there, but take the S off learn the creed, get it right.

Then why did you ask where it was?

Saying God with an “s” on the end gives the word game away. Gods is plural. More than one God. Polytheism.

The Father and the Son are both individually identified as elohim. There are two elohim in the passage, not one. Only one of them is the God of Israel.
