Not put-downs, just exposing the false teachings of John N. Darby and C.I. Scofield in a pre-trib rapture that doesn't exist in scripture that you believe and teach

No different than exposing the false teachings of Mormonism or the Jehovahs Witnesses
Notice how he can't even give me one example where I've made a strawman argument against pre-trib in the past. Pre-tribs have nothing of substance to offer, so all they can do is make false accusations about those who disagree with them.

Did you even read 1 Thessalonians 5? Apparently, context means absolutely nothing to you. Nowhere does Paul say anything there about what you're talking about. Instead, he talks about those who are in spiritual darkness and contrasts them with those who are "the children of light" who are spiritually "sober". Those in spiritual darkness are spiritually unaware of their status as objects of God's wrath and they have a false sense of spiritual security, thinking that they are spiritually at peace and safe from God's wrath. They will find out otherwise when Jesus comes as a thief in the night and brings "sudden destruction" upon them from which "they shall not escape".
Yes, unbelievers think they are at peace and safe from God's wrath.
I have talked with many of them, and only a few think God would cast them into hell.
They tell me they are good, try to do good, are not evil like some criminal killer.
They say God will weigh their good with their bad on His scale, and if the good outweighs the bad they enter heaven.

They are in spiritual darkness cause they do not believe in the light of Christ, that Christ needs to illuminate their own darkness.
They will say they are not perfect, but God will judge them by their good works which exceed their bad works.

God is clear, all are in danger of hell fire unless they repent of unbelief and believe in Christ, since Christ is the only way to God and eternal life.
Anyone who does not believe is against Christ and God.
Christ's righteousness is on believers, He deliver us from the wrath of God.
For all unbelieving, God's wrath abides on them, even though they do not sense that.

Unless they believe in Christ, they are not a part of the family of God.
God save His people. God is under no obligation to save anyone else.

Scripture is clear, you are either of God and Christ, born again of the Spirit of God, or you are not His people.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

4 that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

5 For those who are according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace,

7 because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so it be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Since the world does not believe in Christ, they are not looking for Him to come again are they!
Unbelieving make up the large number of people worldwide, they have various faiths, some are atheists.
They are not interested in repentance. God must grant repentance to the unbelieving or they will never be believing in Christ.

2 Timothy 2
24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

In the natural course of events, a woman will travail at childbirth, can not be escaped.
Same thing with the wicked at the return of Christ and the judgment.
There is no other described circumstances, Paul is speaking of the Day of Christ's return.

EXB
While people are saying, “·We have peace and we are safe [L Peace and safety/security],” they will be destroyed ·quickly [suddenly]. It is like pains that come quickly to a woman having a baby. Those people will not escape.
KJ21
For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.
ASV
When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.
AMP
While they are saying, “Peace and safety [all is well and secure!]” then [in a moment unforeseen] destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains on a woman with child, and they will absolutely not escape [for there will be no way to escape the judgment of the Lord].
AMPC
When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape.
BRG
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
CSB
When they say, “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
CSBA
When they say, ‘Peace and security’, then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labour pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
CEB
When they are saying, “There is peace and security,” at that time sudden destruction will attack them, like labor pains start with a pregnant woman, and they definitely won’t escape.
CJB
When people are saying, “Everything is so peaceful and secure,” then destruction will suddenly come upon them, the way labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and there is no way they will escape.
CEV
People will think they are safe and secure. But destruction will suddenly strike them like the pains of a woman about to give birth. And they won't escape.

DLNT
When they are saying “peace and security”, then unexpected destruction suddenly-comes-upon them, just as the birth-pain on the one having a child in the womb. And they will by no means escape.
DRA
For when they shall say, peace and security; then shall sudden destruction come upon them, as the pains upon her that is with child, and they shall not escape.
ERV
People will say, “We have peace and we are safe.” At that time destruction will come to them quickly, like the pains of a woman giving birth. And those people will not escape.
EASY
At that time, people will be saying, ‘We are safe and there is no trouble for us.’ But then, when they are not ready for it, great punishment will suddenly happen to them. It will be impossible for them to run away. Pain will suddenly come to them, like a woman who is giving birth to a baby.
EHV
When people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will suddenly come on them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will certainly not escape.
ESV
While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
ESVUK
While people are saying, “There is peace and security”, then sudden destruction will come upon them as labour pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

You asked about the saying of peace and safety in 1Thessalonians 5 verse 3. I explained what that will be about. And showed it on a chart.

What you wrote above is about verses 4-11. Paul is writing about watching, don't get caught off guard. And Paul is encouraging believers to be watching for the resurrection/rapture event of 1Thessalonians4:15-18....again in 1Thessalonians 5:9-11. Resurrection/rapture in verse 10.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

---------------------------------------------

1Thessaloniains4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I appreciate your kind words, but I have to correct you on one thing. When Paul refers to "darkness" in that thread he is referring to unbelievers being in spiritual darkness in contrast to believers being "children of the light".

The word "darkness" has no relation to Jesus coming as a thief in the night. It seems you're trying to relate the word darkness to the word night there, but Jesus coming as a thief in the night simply refers to the fact that He will come unexpectedly, similar to how a thief comes unexpectedly in the night when no one expects it. Jesus Himself said that He will come as a thief (Matt 24:42-44, Luke 12:36-39, Rev 16:15) and that no one knows the day or hour of His coming (Matt 24:36, Matt 25:13), so it just relates to the unexpected nature of His second coming.
That is not correction, but a different perspective, one solely based on semantic definitions of language.

But that is not how the Word of God is defined. The words are rather defined spiritually, and by a multitude of literary and literal living parables made manifest in the events of the lives of men and all of history.

In other words, one could just as easily say the same about such events as crossing the Red Sea and the Jordan. But if one has ears to heart, God has made manifest a parable of Israel crossing the great sea of flesh and blood (red), and and a lifetime spent wandering in a deserted place before crossing the great Jordan between this world and the kingdom of God into His ultimate land of promise.

It is indeed there to see, but only if one has eyes to see it. Such is the way, and the word, of God.

You deny clear scripture presented as if it doesn't exist, you treat your charts and grafts as if they're inspired words of God

Jesus returns and the resurrection of all takes place (Then Cometh The End)

Jesus returns in fire immediately after the tribulation (The End) "Destroyed Them All"

Jesus returns on (The Last Day) The End

You falsely teach and believe a mortal millennial kingdom will take place on this earth at the return of Jesus Christ, the scripture below teaches your claims are false, when Jesus returns its (THE END)

Paul clearly taught that when Jesus returns the resurrection of the dead takes place, (Then Cometh The End) its that simple (The End) not a 1,000 year kingdom on this earth as many "Falsely" claim

1 Corinthians 15:21-24KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end
, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The scripture above is in perfect agreement with Jesus being revealed in fire and brimstone as seen below (Then Cometh The End) as all the unsaved wicked are destroyed at the Lord's return

(Destroyed Them All)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The resurrection of "All" is seen below and the wicked are judged to eternal damnation, this is when the "Final Judgement" takes place (The End)

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth
; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Jesus clearly taught that the resurrection of "All" takes place on "The Last Day" this is in perfect agreement with the scripture above

John 6:39-40KJV

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Look at you continue to vaunt yourself!

I posted that you've misrepresented pre-tribbers all over, and you reply with trying to put me down, calling names, all that garbage.

Now you hope others will see me as afraid of you, what a laugh! There will be peace and safety followed by sudden destruction, exactly as the Bible says.

If you think of the "sudden destruction" as the White Throne Judgment, for instance, then the peace and safety might be interpretted as safety from that, as you are indicating.

But if you consider the sudden destruction to be any number of calamities to befall the earth at the end of the age, the peace and safety would be more of the material kind, like the calamities.

My interest was in the point I posted. Not your "gotcha question" loaded with presuppositions.

Your words, from your heart, reveal you. Won't you ever realize that?

I've said what I came to say, that you continue to misrepresent pre-tribbers, and you'd be better off not doing that.

Much love!
In all reality, Marks, you did come on here accusing SI of misrepresenting Pretribbers. Maybe his characterization does not fit you, but in my experience what he said does fit many Pretribbers.

In fact, what you just said sounds very much like you're saying precisely what he was claiming, that you see Peace and Safety in the world prior to Christ's Return? Now I don't claim to perfectly represent what SI believes, but I can say what I believe, without all of the acrimony.

I agree that the "peace and safety" in 1 Thes 5 has nothing to do with actual peaceful conditions in the world in the sense of "world peace." I know that sometimes Pretribbers have used the serenity of the people before the Flood as a type of "world peace" before the judgment of the Flood.

But much of this appears to be based on some kind of sense that Antichrist will be a False Messiah who deceives the world into worshiping him, and thus creating a false sense of "world peace." In reality, this is speaking, I believe, of the sense unbelievers have when they achieve license for their ungodly ways. They dispose of religious opposition and establish, legislatively, freedom for all of their licentious ways.

But this isn't real "world peace." The persecution of religious prophets is not "world peace." The defeat of opposing political entities is not "world peace." God's judgment upon the ungodly in the form of wars, catastrophies, and sicknesses is not "world peace."

So, this sense that the world is in a state of actual "world peace" is, I think, false and unbiblical. I agree with SI that "peace and safety" is what unbelievers "say," and not the reality in the world. They wish for "peace and safety," and may achieve a measure of insulation from judgment for a time.

However, it is biblical to say that the world finds artificial comfort in stealing the things of God and benefiting from those blessings for their own abuses. That lulls them into sleep, thinking they are immune from judgment.

The judgment that is to come is always happening--ungodly people are being judged every day, albeit with God's tolerance and patience mixed in. But the final judgment which we call "God's Wrath" is coming at the actual Return of Jesus.

This Coming will bring about Eternal Judgment, which is the Judgment the wicked world thinks it is immune from and will be suddenly surprised by when the world enters into its final conflict at Armageddon. The world will "say" "peace and safety," but the reality is that their ungodly, violent acts are being seen from heaven, bringing upon them the inexorable march towards Eternal Death.

......try to push your Amil view on me.

Zechariah 14 clearly says that when the Lord's feet stands on the mount of Olives, it will be split in half. And what follows that day of the Lord's judgment on the nations that gather against Jerusalem is....

Zehcariah 14:
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14 clearly says that when the Lord's feet stands on the mount of Olives, it will be split in half. And what follows that day of the Lord's judgment on the nations that gather against Jerusalem is....
Zechariah Chapter 14 Is The Day Of The Lord, And Following Is "The Eternal Kingdom" In The New Heaven And Earth

Douggg you don't want to acknowledge that Zechariah 14:12, Luke 17:29-30, & 2 Peter 3:10 Is The Same Event In Fire "Destroyed Them All"!

Zechariah 14:1-12 below shows the Lords return to earth in fire in final judgement.

(Verse 1) shows "The Day Of The Lord" also seen in 2 Peter 3:10-13 "Fire Judgement" below

(Verse 2) Shows that all nations are gathered for the final battle of armageddon.

(Verses 3-5) shows the Lords return, and his eternal feet touch down on the earthly Mt, of Olives, and in the "Twinkling Of An Eye" 1 Cor 15:52 takes place, in the catching up, resurrection, final judgement by fire, and the New Heavens, Earth, and Jerusalem being revealed for eternity, judgement complete, eternity begins.

(Verses 6-7) Eternal light seen, in the eternal kingdom, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 8) The river of life is seen, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 10) The New creation is being revealed, the plain is lifted up.

(Verse 12) "The Day Of The Lord" showing the "Last Day" judgement by the Lords fire, as men are consumed as they stand on their feet, 2 Peter 3:10-13

2 Peter 3:10KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Revelation 22:1KJV
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

"The Eternal Kingdom"!

Zechariah 14:1-12KJV
14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 but it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lordshall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

What an interesting cash of egos in this thread....indeed, ‘what is in the heart comes out of the mouth’.....self justification doesn’t carry a lot of weight in trying to trump one view over another in Christendom, which is claiming to be “the body of Christ”..sadly, it is a dismembered body....disunity is not the product of God’s spirit. (1 Cor 1:10)

We are all entitled to our view.....but God knows who the “sheep” are, and who the “goats” are.....we can’t change any of that because our hearts are talking to God every day, even when we don’t say a word.

It’s safe to say that according to Jesus’ words, the majority will have chosen the wrong road for a number of reasons (Matt 7:13-14; 21-23)....again the heart accepts what it wants to believe.....it’s a ‘treachery’ that Jeremiah warned about. (Jer 17:9-10) It can lead us in the wrong direction for what we believe are the right reasons....satan has booby trapped the world.

There is one truth, and only God will lead Christ’s true disciples to it. (John 6:44; 65) No matter how sincere we are in our beliefs...if they are in error we will be the last to know.....so do we understand how fair and just that is? Every single one of us, no matter what we call ourselves will be judged by what is in our heart.....we will all be caught in the act of being ourselves...the person God sees, not the one we imagine ourselves to be.
The day of judgment will play out just as God has said it will....no amount of arguing will alter the outcome.
We choose our own spiritual path without coercion or threat.....as it should be.

No, because the New Earth will have no sea.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Now look at Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

Zechariah 14 takes place on this current earth.

I wish they would give up their Judaism mindsets, their earthly kingdom of the Jews to come.
Yes dispensationalism is rooted in the cult of "Christian Zionism" falsely teaching there are two peoples of God, the fairy tale of John N. Darby and supported by C.I. Scofield's 1909 reference bible in false teachings

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

"Once Again" your claim is "False"

"Sea" in Revelation 21:1 "There Was No More Sea" is symbolic of "Multitudes of People" as Revelation 7:15 below clearly interprets "Waters"

In the New Heaven and Earth the multitudes of people "Sea" won't be seen, narrow is the way to the eternal kingdom and "Few" will be called and chosen to find it

Matthew 7:13-14KJV
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Waters = Peoples, Multitudes, Nations

Revelation 7:15KJV
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The Beast rising out of the "Sea" below isn't literal oceans or water, he rises out of the multitudes of people

Revelation 13:1KJV
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a
beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

No, the wording "and there was no more sea" in Revelation 21:1 is not symbolic, like in Revelation 17:15 (not Revelation 7:15, you made a typo). Revelation 17:15 states the symbolism of "waters" on which the woman sits in the text. There is no stated symbolism for sea in Revelation 21.

(The Beast) rising out of the "Sea" below isn't literal oceans or water, he rises out of the multitudes of people, is (The Beast) the creature from the black lagoon "NO" he's a future literal human man

How long will you deny biblical truth in desperately trying to promote the false teaching of a millennial kingdom on this earth that doesn't exist in scripture

"Sea" = Peoples, Multitudes, Not Water
