“Centuries ago unbelieving men thought they could stamp out the Christian gospel by parading those transformed, born-again followers of Jesus to the places of their violent torture and executions. Soon the unfeeling executioners began to feel something in the presence of joyful victory over death and they passed along this word, ‘Behold how these Christians die!’”

(A.W. Tozer, I Call It Heresy, Chapter 3)

How very different the Christian life is than the life of the Crusader. How very different is the testimony of the enemy about the Christian life than the Crusader life.

Why are non-Muslims skeptical that Islam is “the religion of peace”?

I had always heard about The Crusades in a negative way. But in this video, Bob from Speaker's Corner in London, explains why The Crusades started. They were in response to centuries of Islamic invasion of many Christian countries.
Left-Wing liberals have sought to change history. They are revisionists. They are anti-colonization, anti-USA. Columbus is made out to look evil, our founding fathers - evil, and on and on, distorting history. They try to distort our Jesus. They play the race card all the time, causing division. Obama clearly rekindled the flames of racism. You'd think, Okay, we elected a black president ... well half black; so that should have put the lid on racism, retribution. Forgiveness, conciliatory ... it's all good should have been the resolve. We were doing fine, came a long way ... but no, he started the fire again, him and his cohort Soros behind the scenes ( Ferguson, Baltimore, BLM movement, etc.), creating turmoil, rioting, protests ... division. We are now as divided as before the Civil War. And why? They hate the country, they want to destroy it, destroy all the sovereignty if all nations in order to implement their New World World, a One World Socialist Government. Destroy the USA from within is the only way - even our founding fathers warned us of that. Open borders? With no borders, you have no country.

SORRY, got carried away. Back to the OP. Islam was problem then and it is the BIG problem now in the world. Frankly I think Islam is the Beast. Iran will not give up, even though their nuclear program was dismantled. They will gather ten nations against Israel and already have most of them lined up. This recent Peace Treaty and Abraham Accords did not include the key players in the end time scenario.

Knock, knock. Who’s there? It’s the Middle Ages calling.

There is a Crusader rapping, gently tap, tap, tapping at your door. Are you Roman Catholic?, he inquires. No? Then you are about to be subjected to the brutality of Islam, the religion of peace, Roman Catholic style. You protest, you’re a Christian. The Crusader corrects you with his sword. You‘re a dead heretic.

Give it up for the Crusader, ladies and gentlemen.

What is the market for the message “Live like a Christian, not like a Roman Catholic” on this platform? Visit the “Christians Only” forums for the answer.

Fear of Islam tends to tamp that message down.

Fear is a powerful weapon in the wrong hands....the devil has used it to his evil advantage for millennia...

Perpetrate an atrocity, then blame your enemy....and you have sanction to end his life as brutally as you like (because he deserves it and justice must be done!)....and you can also justify torture if you wish....unless you are disciple of Christ. There is no sanction from him.

No one is aware of the psychological manipulation...but it’s happened all through history and will no doubt continue to happen unless people wake up to what propaganda is.....it looks like the truth, but it’s designed to whip up powerful feelings of revenge by pressing the injustice buttons. We see it played out on the nightly news....

In a world ruled by the devil.....there are no good guys. Everyone is told that they are the good guys....see how easy it is to cause division, create reasons for hate and bloodshed, and rob the world of peace?

Jesus said “blessed are the peacemakers”....but where are they? If not among Christ’s disciples....then where else?

And we know the JW's certainly aren't the good guys
I had a gentleman tell me once that his son was killed fighting for his country.....I commiserated, but when I told him that his son was certainly not killed by one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he was lost for words. It then gave me opportunity to explain our position and why no Christian can be found with blood on their hands by becoming “part of the world”. (John 18:36)
We have two choices....to become part of the problem or to support God’s solution.

Do we fight and kill for man’s stolen lands, or for the “government” that has the Prince of Peace at the helm? You be the judge...

It becomes corrupt when people like you are taking it out of context to justify evil behaviour.
If there was a god medal for taking Scripture out of context to justify what Christ condemned....we would have a few gold medal contenders here.....

Anyone can read into Scripture what they want to see....but serious Bible students will dig deep for the “hidden treasure”.
Most are not willing to do that...they are lazy and prefer to be spoon fed by someone with ‘qualifications’. One wonders what qualifications Jesus’ humble, uneducated apostles had? They were educated by the greatest teacher in existence, but his teachings disagreed with the status quo. The people had to choose, which ones they would follow. Most made the wrong choice....just as “many” today will. (Matt 7:13-14; 21-23)

So you are one of them? Jehovah’s Witnesses.

I looked it up and their main position is that,
The Trinity is not accepted.
Political neutrality,Not to participate in politics, economy, military affairs or patriotic activities.
Do not wear a cross.

Not participating in blood donation activities.

ETC....no smoke....

I hope people never Labeling oneself.

I smoke....... So I am not one of J'W.
I know smoke is not good for health, but I live here on earth, I should have my enjoy time.
I don't want to live for a long time here on earth.

The apostles didn’t kill their enemies. The early Christians didn’t kill their enemies. They suffered and endured the persecution, even to the point of death. They didn’t deliver, or attempt to deliver, themselves by the sword. That’s Christian history.

We’ve been asked in this thread to believe that those who act as the apostles and the early Christians acted when persecuted by their enemies are antiChristian. Read that again.

The real man of peace, even to the point of losing his life as a witness for the Messiah’s sake, has been labelled by the man of violence as the man following the devil.

The man of violence, to his credit, acknowledged that the Crusaders weren’t witnessing to their enemies. That should be the end of the matter but it isn’t.

Who is the antiChristian? The man of peace who witnesses to the Muslim or the man of violence who doesn’t witness to the Muslim?

Who is the braver? The man of peace who stands unarmed with the weapons of the world (armed only with the weapons of the Spirit) against the Muslim, or the man of violence who stands armed with the weapons of the world against the Muslim?

Who is the wiser? The man who follows the apostles and the early Christians or the man who doesn’t follow the apostles and the early Christians?

The man of violence, again to his credit, said plainly to the man of peace, that he will not wait for the Lord.

Who is the antiChristian? The man who waits for the Lord or the man who will not wait for the Lord?

The devil has flipped the script.

Why are non-Muslims skeptical that Islam is “the religion of peace”?

There are many verses in their scriptures about killing non-Muslims. And they especially mention Jews and Christians.

While there might be individual Muslims that seem peaceful, their teachings in their scriptures are not. Currently there are often violent terrorists attacks by Muslims in Europe and the UK.

The UK also had a Muslim grooming gang scandal where young British girls were targeted by Pakistani men.

Former Muslim, Nabeel Qureshi about the violence in Islam:

@Hazelelponi Since you are a former Muslim, perhaps you have some input for Matthias?

I’m not defending Islam. I’m standing against Christians who imitate Islam and teach others to believe that those who imitate the apostles and the early Christians are antiChristian.

Islam isn’t the religion of peace. Christianity that imitates Islam isn’t a religion of peace.

Christianity that imitates the apostles and the early Christians is the religion of peace.

It will cut short your life, that's for sure.
The Trinity is not accepted.
Same thing with United Pentecostals.
One of the fastest growing denominations today.
