There is always one in every crowd who lacks basic training in the Word, but speaks dogmatically. Let me quote you some verses that may help you see the light. I selected a variety of Translations...

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who
bought (redeemed) them,
and bring on themselves swift destruction.

Know that being redeemed does not equal salvation. Christ redeemed the whole world.
So the unbeliever is bought/ransomed/redeemed according to Peter.

There is no contingency here, the whole world has been propitiated.
