Name the sin.
“A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak
Are you obliged to OT law?Deuteronomy 22:5
Where in the NT does it say this is no longer a sin? Would you council someone that it is ok to engage in crossdressing? How about total transitioning? Are you obliged to OT law?
The law that God gave to the Israelites alone through Moses.
It seems that you only seek to enforce half of the verse.Where in the NT does it say this is no longer a sin? Would you council someone that it is ok to engage in crossdressing? How about total transitioning?
How many men wore pants in ancient Israel? You ignore their culture and tunnel vision in on today's standards. This is another demonstration that you are influenced by the spirit of this age.It seems that you only seek to enforce half of the verse.
If it is wrong for a man to wear a dress, it is wrong for a woman to wear pants.
Does this apply also to murder? It was part of the law. How about lying or stealing? Are those ok as well?Galatians 3:23-25 NIV
Before the coming of this faith,[a] we were held in custody under the law,
locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.
24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.
25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
You need to have a better understanding of the law, the Law, God's law and Christ's law.Does this apply also to murder? It was part of the law. How about lying or stealing? Are those ok as well?
1) That's a ridiculous question. Do you wear tassels? Also, you avoided all of my questions
1)Where in the NT does it say this is no longer a sin?
2)Would you council someone that it is ok to engage in crossdressing?
3)How about total transitioning?
On the contrary, if you think crossdressing is not a sin then you need to learn more about the law of liberty in Christ Jesus. You need to have a better understanding of the law, the Law, God's law and Christ's law.
Stop dismissing questions as ridiculous. There is much you miss in your pseudo intellectual arrogance.1) That's a ridiculous question. Do you wear tassels?
Yes2) Are you claiming that cross-dressing is a sin?
Only if they were worn by a man. What about women's business suits?
Are you saying that transitioning into another gender is not a sin?3) I wouldn't recommend it. But it is a personal decision.
I want to thank you for posting this word (astorgos). I actually went to check the etymology of it, because I thought you might be in error. I thought they both might at least have a Primary root connection. Which they did not. But in looking at its literal Greek def. It is the very word I have been looking for, that perfectly defines a family issue my brothers and sister and I, are all IN, and which has escalated in recent months. I speak of a 'place' which started a long time ago with my sister and my youngest brother who was an elder. His attitude has spread to all of us siblings. I am actually a bit shocked as to the severity of the 'verse list of sins' which are included with this same word you have shared. A word which is only in the NT 2 times. I am planning on sharing it within the blood relationship family as well as some in the local spiritual family who know about this situation.I don't know if the poster intended this, but the highlighted term translated "without natural affection" does not refer to natural sexual desires. Rather, ἄστοργος (astorgos) means "without στοργή", where storge is one of the four types of love in Greek culture, the love of family and kin.
And considering the dysfunction on my wife's side of the family, the violence, the controlling behavior, the abandonment, the divorces (it happens a lot in military families), I can see astorgos happening in real time. And I still don't know if the rumor that my grandson is now my granddaughter is true, because he (she?) has dived down a hole and pulled the hole in after him (her?).
God does forgive that.Video from Colby Martin.
Is "Being Gay" an Unforgivable Sin? - Questions from the Audience with Colby Martin
What do you think?
Welcome to the forum. There is a difference between hanging with tax collectors and gays or adulterers and these outcasts or sinners continuing to sin. Jesus told the adulterous women that "no one judged her and to go away and sin no more". Not to continue to do the same sin.
So the LGBTIQ+ is welcome by Christ and Christians so long as they like all other Christians stop practicing sin. All sinners have to sacrifice themselves and that means the renewing of the mind and spirit so that we no longer live by the flesh.
We hand over our flesh nature to God in Christ. But this cannot be achieved unless we are willing to come to God and hand over to Him. To trust hime to give us the strength to handle these changes and sacrifices.

Is gender dysphoria a sin?
So, you think gender dysphoria a sin.James 1 speaks somewhat to this here!
Think that God knew which gender He intended each Human to be born as and to stay inSo, you think gender dysphoria a sin.
Do you really know what it is?
Gender Dysphoria: The situation where a birth sex male feels that they are a female in a male body.
Or a birth sex female feels that they are a male in a female body. Usually realized in adolescence.
However, some children as young as 3 to 5 years old are acting on strong urges to opposite gender behavior.
Unfortunate, this has been OVER-STRESSED in recent years to epidemic proportions.
Gender identity is being pushed on anyone with a hormonal balance in either direction.
And has become popular in teen culture to pursue gender identity opposite their birth sex.
That's not the question.Think that God knew which gender He intended each Human to be born as and to stay in
it would be if it leads one to doubt or even deny what Gender God created them as beingSt. SteVen said:

Unethical treatment of LGBTQ humans / Understanding LGBTQ - 101
I'm still trying to help Christians understand this COMPLEX issue that they have reduced to a knee-jerk reaction. Notice the term "LGBTQ humans" in the topic title. I need to remind Christians that these people are human. - Sigh. :( Because they are typically treated by Christians as subhuman...www.christianityboard.com
No, it's a mental illness. Like other mental illnesses, it will result in bad behavior if left unchecked, or if it is encouraged. Is gender dysphoria a sin?
Why would doubt be a sin?it would be if it leads one to doubt or even deny what Gender God created them as being
