Yes, their alien-invasion plan is to deceive those who reject The Word of God as Truth especially. Even Satan has the image of man, as all the angels do, since the image of man originates from God's Own image. So I believe what the author of the book Communion said about the aliens he met kept shape-shifting is true, and that their real likeness is that of man.

Think about it. If an alien-invasion happened and the invaders all looked like the tear drop eyes and reptile features, it would only fool the Start Trek type nerds who love fake science more than the Truth of God's Word.
