The SDA church isn't Babylon. However, some of the leadership has signed agreements with the UN without the approval of the delegates of the church body. This is a bone of contention within the church right now. The vast majority of the membership is horrified at these developments recently exposed, and are working to set things right. This situation is not the same as the Methodist church the church of England, the Lutherans and many pentecostal churches etc fully approving of a return to Rome, embracing LGBT principles and uniting in the WCC and the UN in order to foster better relations and bring about universal ecumenism and woke laws and a unity based on what the Pope calls the common good. That's not happening in our church. Did God throw away all the truth Israel was blessed with because Moses struck the rock twice? Did they discard Torah because Nadab and Abihu used common fire? Did God instruct Israel to go down a different path other than what He had taught them after the rebellion of Korah?
After Christ departed, there were then false brethren. Tares. Not only individuals, but Churches that in a few short centuries would completely apostatize , and turn against their former brethren and give them up to the state power to be killed. Revelation 13 informs is that such a history is about to repeat in our day.
We are calling for our leaders to repent. To repeal all connections with the UN as an NGO. But I have my doubts they will. There's too much money involved. There are grants to our hospitals and schools, with seats at boardroom tables and director fees paid. I know our church will eventually cease to function as an organized institution. The mark of the beast and state authority under advice and counsel of the churches will do that. There can be no compromise with that. Either you agree to the demands of false worship, or you don't. No middle ground. If our church agrees or disagrees on the Sunday laws as an institution, agreeing with such laws in order to stay afloat, or disagree and be obliterated as an institution, either way they are cooked. But the institution isn't what saves us. The church isn't the institution. Speaking prophetically, it's the people who are settled into present Truth and who cannot be moved that will be sealed with the Holy Spirit and thus comprise the church, the true body of Christ which will be translated at the second coming. They are filled with the Spirit of God, are being blessed by the latter rain, and calling all nations to repentance and warning all against joining Babylon and its affirmation and surrender to Papal dogmas and traditions.
You folk who are leaving churches in favour of independent fellowships... do you really believe independent churches will escape the wrath to come upon all the world which refuses to obey the commandments of God and turn to Him for grace to help in the time of need? Are independent churches and home groups immune to sin and the lusts of the flesh and the pride of life? The moment you join a perfect church you defile it. There isn't a perfect church.
But slandering others and claiming study as your foundation for accusing the brethren. You have not studied true adventist teaching. None of you. You don't understand the investigative judgment. And you are afraid to ask and consider the answers. You don't understand the significance of the OT sanctuary and it's types and symbols which reveal NT hope and promise. You follow other misguided enemies to Adventism simply because they agree with your preconceived notions knowing it will result in similar outcomes and affirmations of your refusal to accept true biblical authority.
And you have abandoned true protestant principles and are yourselves have unwittingly sided with antichrist by denying his true identity. In that you will join with the antichrist and his false prophet of the fallen protestant churches in America in persecuting Seventh Day Adventists because they don't agree with your Sunday tradition and the common -good teaching being foisted upon humanity as we speak.
For 2000 years faithful Christians have preached the gospel and that is the reason we are all here today. And I would guarantee to every one of you that for all of those 2000 years those faithful preachers of truth had opposition who slandered them personally and lied about their churches and accused them of heresy and being a cult and teaching legalism and entertaining false brethren and listening to people who were wrong, and despite all that, they continued to preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified and guess what. Here you are.
And I will promise you all here, that regardless of your opposition and protests and false charges, I also will continue to preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified, just as my church has been doing for 160 years. Despite a few wayward individuals who except they repent, we'll be ripped up along with all the other tares in your churches and in your homes.
