What does this response have to do with anything that I said?

Ugh. The context of 2 Peter 3:13 is seen from the preceding verses which speak of the dissolving and burning up of the current heavens and earth. So, clearly, Peter did not have our bodies in mind there, but rather was talking about the current heavens and earth being renewed by fire, resulting in the new heavens and new earth.
KJV 2 Peter 3 doesn't say anything about the current heavens and earth being renewed by fire.
Destroyed by fire? Yes.
Renewed by fire? No.

In fact, in the KJV NT., the word "renewed" has no such application as you imply. Please see Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 4:16; Eph. 4:23; Col. 3:10.

Since 2 Peter 3:13 does reveal that [God's] righteousness has a distinct designation, as to "where-IN" it shall dwell, I should say that for all who are born again of the Holy Spirit, His dwelling within our EARTH-en vessels is paramount to being the ONLY answer, as to what exactly it is that shall be "Renewed".

It appears that I must ask the question again:
Where does God and His righteousness seek to dwell?
1. ON this present planet earth?
2. IN our earthen vessels created from this earth?

Edit:
For the context of how/why the Holy Spirt within me is explaining His reasoning in this post, please review posts #96, 97 and 99.

Destroyed by fire? Yes.
Renewed by fire? No.
We see the description of the dissolving and burning up of the earth in 2 Peter 3:10-12 and the result is the new heavens and new earth that Peter referenced in 2 Peter 3:13.

Scripture says that the meek shall inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). How can the meek inherit the earth if it is annihilated? Not possible. We will be inheriting the earth in a renewed state, which scripture calls "the new earth".

In fact, in the KJV NT., the word "renewed" has no such application as you imply. Please see Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 4:16; Eph. 4:23; Col. 3:10.

You are very confused. The new heavens and new earth have not yet been ushered in. According to Peter in 2 Peter 3:13, they will be ushered in as fulfillment of the promise of Christ's second coming. Do you claim that Christ has already come again?

It appears that I must ask the question again:
Where does God and His righteousness seek to dwell?
1. ON this present planet earth?
2. IN our earthen vessels created from this earth?
He will dwell with us for eternity in the new heavens and new earth once they are ushered in. As I've already told you. Why do you ask questions that I've already answered multiple times? It won't be the earth as we know it now, but we will dwell on the new earth. It has to be this earth in a renewed state or else the meek would not be able to inherit the earth as Jesus said we will.

Edit:

That's not the Holy Spirit. You are in error when it comes to this topic. There's no doubt about that.

There is NOTHING DESCRIBING the new earth in 2 Peter 3:13. If you see a description there, please know that it's a figment of your own mind, caused and hatched by listening to church- ianity.
Scripture says that the meek shall inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). How can the meek inherit the earth if it is annihilated? Not possible. We will be inheriting the earth in a renewed state, which scripture calls "the new earth".
Q. When Jesus resurrected into NEW life, what was it exactly that He INHERITED, of which everyone who was in His presence did SEE!
A. His mortal flesh was made to be Immortal flesh.
You are very confused. The new heavens and new earth have not yet been ushered in.
Far from it!!
I never said that they were!!
According to Peter in 2 Peter 3:13, they will be ushered in as fulfillment of the promise of Christ's second coming.
I AGREE 100%. In THAT [24 hour] Day of His Glorious return in His Immortality and in flaming fire, every born again Christian will then be MADE IMMORTAL also.
Do you claim that Christ has already come again?
I believe in the three comings of Jesus:
#1. in and by His mortal flesh.
#2. in and by His Holy Spirit.
#3. in and by His Immortality.

#1 Zech. 3:8 is John the Baptist, who was the servant of the Lord.
Zech. 6:12 is Jesus, God the Son, who
ever since Pentecost, by His Holy Spirit, has been "coming" to all people.

#2.
Therefore in that process of coming to us by His Spirit (Rev. 3:20), he has been building the Temple of the Lord, IN ALL that come to repentance and believe in Him.
Are we not each and collectively the temple of the Lord's dwelling place?

#3. The Lord Himself, in His Immortality, shall gloriously appear from heaven to redeem all of His Saints. 2 Thes. 1:7-10
He will dwell with us for eternity in the new heavens and new earth once they are ushered in.
The 3rd "coming": YES!! In that [24 hour] Day of His Glorious return, we all who are born again of His Holy Spirit, shall be "changed" into the likeness of His Immortality, and shall meet Him and all the Saints that come with Him, that were before us, IN THE AIR, and so shall we EVER be with the Lord.

As I've already told you. Why do you ask questions that I've already answered multiple times? It won't be the earth as we know it now, but we will dwell on the new earth. It has to be this earth in a renewed state or else the meek would not be able to inherit the earth as Jesus said we will.
Q. Again, what did Jesus Himself inherit upon His Resurrection?
A. His"earthen vessel" made to be Immortal.
That's not the Holy Spirit. You are in error when it comes to this topic. There's no doubt about that.
It most certainly is by the Holy Spirit, and it definitely is scriptural.
It is simply not being revealed to your mind yet, due to erroneous beliefs that have taken deep root within you and most people.
The New earth is our mortal bodies to be made Immortal, where-IN dwelleth [God's] righteousness.

I don't get my views from "church-ianity" so don't waste your time on that kind of foolishness. The new earth is ushered in after this earth is burned up. Why would the new earth be entirely different from this earth? I'm not saying it will be exactly the same, but I think it's quite ludicrous to think that it won't still be a physical place minus the limitations that we have now (gravity, sin, pain, sickness, death, etc.).

Q. When Jesus resurrected into NEW life, what was it exactly that He INHERITED, of which everyone who was in His presence did SEE!
A. His mortal flesh was made to be Immortal flesh.
Obviously. And He was still able to eat food and be touched. Hello? You think that the new heavens and new earth won't have any physical aspects to it, but you are wrong.

Far from it!!
I never said that they were!!
Settle down, buddy. In one post you were acting as if we, as new creations, are the new earth. That's how it came across. So, what exactly is your understanding of the new heavens and new earth where only righteousness and the righteous will dwell?

I AGREE 100%. In THAT [24 hour] Day of His Glorious return in His Immortality and in flaming fire, every born again Christian will then be MADE IMMORTAL also.
Glad that you agree. That was not clear at all from anything you said previously.

I believe in the three comings of Jesus:
#1. in His mortal flesh.
#2. by His Holy Spirit.
#3. in His Immortality.
I think almost everyone here believes in that, but I'm talking about Him coming again from heaven in the same manner that He ascended to heaven, which was visibly and bodily (Acts 1:9-11). Do you believe that He will come visibly and bodily (with an immortal body, of course) in the future?

#1 Zech. 3:8 is John the Baptist, who was the servant of the Lord.

Most of what you said above is scriptural, but you utterly failed to be as clear in your other post as you were in this one about what you believe.

It is simply not being revealed to your mind yet, due to erroneous beliefs that have taken deep root within you and most people.
Get off your high horse. You are delusional to think that you have more understanding than I do and most other people do. You most certainly do not.

The New earth is our mortal bodies to be made Immortal, where-IN dwelleth [God's] righteousness.
This is where you go astray. No, the new earth will not be our immortal bodies. That is complete nonsense. We will dwell ON the new earth in our immortal bodies.

Did you know that the Feast of Tabernacles is NOT about the Jews living/dwelling in TEMPORARY dwellings, but rather it is symbolical about the "Promise" that was to come, being that of the Holy Spirit of the Godhead. He was to permanently dwell/live in the TEMPORARY tabernacle of our "earthen vessels", of which in the Day of Jesus' return from Heaven, all of such shall be made Immortal?

While I agree the Bible does speak of Jesus being present in mortal flesh, and also present with His saints through His Spirit, when Christ returns the Bible says only that He shall appear the second time in the same manner He was seen leaving this earth. That shall again be clothed in human flesh, for that is how He was seen departing this earth. Nowhere does Scripture speak of Christ's second appearance as a third coming. You're adding your opinion to the Word of God when it is apparent that His body at His return is the same immortal body He received when He resurrected from the tomb.

Hebrews 9:28 (KJV) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Acts 1:9-11 (KJV)
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

It is evident that you are getting hung up on the technicality of words.
Becareful that you don't worship the words of the Bible instead of Him who is the source of them.
Remember, not all Bibles are identically alike.

KJV John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and WE WILL COME unto him, and make OUR abode [tabernacle] with him.

KJV Rev. 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I WILL COME in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Unfortunately for most Christians, they hear far too little from the pulpits of church- ianity about the wonderous Act of Pentecost, whereby the Godhead COME S down to permanently dwell [tabernacle] within people who are of faith in Jesus.
Most are unaware that it was the very first time that God Himself could permanently dwell within man.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Say what now? Why do you make simple things complicated? When Jesus returns at the last trumpet our bodies will all be changed to be immortal (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) and we will then dwell in the new heavens and new earth for eternity (2 Peter 3:13). Very simple. If you insist on making everything more complicated than it is, that's on you.

If you understand that our form of righteousness by the Law is unacceptable to God, then you know that God shall accept ONLY those who are filled with His righteousness.
Here are at least two scriptures that reveal it: 2Cor. 4:7; 2 Peter 3:13.

Good grief. We are not the new earth. Get serious. I'm having trouble finding anyone left on this forum that I can take seriously anymore.

Was it too much trouble for you to quote the verses? I know what 2 Peter 3:13 says since I quote that one often, but I had to look up 2 Corinthians 4:7.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

How in the world do you conclude that this verse is talking about the new earth? Nonsense!

As I said, Christ comes to us through His Spirit in us and that is what Rev 3:20 is alluding to. The same spiritual depiction applies to the words of John above. WE, whosoever has the Son, has the Father also through the Spirit of Christ in us.

So then, when you "opened the door" and invited Jesus into your life, you did personally experience the 2nd coming of Jesus!!
Now that you have been made ready, you are waiting for His Glorious and Immortal return, His 3rd coming.

The last Adam was a quickening spirit, being Jesus. 1 Cor. 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The treasure is God the Father Himself within us, through the person of Jesus. [John 14:23].
Q. What did Jesus Himself inherit, that is now immortal, but was made of this earth?
A. His personal body of His being.

Since Jesus' old mortal flesh was of this earth, then after His resurrection, His NEW immortal flesh is now to Him the New earth in which dwelleth [God's] righteousness.
Let us not forget, that Jesus was without sin. He was neither good or evil, which is meaning that He was innocent from birth.
However, upon His crucifixion, He was made to be sin for us, though He himself committed no sin.

We who are born again of the Holy Spirit of God, shall be raised unto the likeness of the Immortality of Jesus, possessing the ability to be physical and/or spirit AT WILL, as was revealed to the disciples in the upper room.

When I repented and believed in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, I personally experienced the Spirit sent from Christ to dwell in me. I will not experience Christ coming the second time in the flesh until the sounding of the last/seventh trumpet. There is no 3rd coming of Christ to be found anywhere in the Bible. Just as He has come once in the flesh, He will come again in the flesh the second time. Until that day, faithful saints are being kept by the power of Christ in us through His Spirit in us.

I hear you, and Praise God that He does dwell within you, but you are not willing to agree to the two steps of PROCESS OF His three comings, so that He CAN return in His visible Immortality, in flaming fire (2 Thes. 1:7-10), which prior to IS necessary, in order to separate the sheep from the goats, ever since Pentecost. Mat. 13:30; Luke 3:17

Do not be void of this precious understanding. If Jesus DIDN'T COME to anyone
by His Spirit (Rev. 3:20), there would NOTHING for Jesus to return for!!

It's not a matter of understanding the literal words of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. It's a matter of understanding that Jesus could NEVER have come to any one of us (the 2nd time) UNTIL He was Glorified.
John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was NOT YET GIVEN [to anyone]; because that Jesus was NOT YET glorified.)

John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

He was glorified the moment He ascended into heaven, and even before going to the cross.

Daniel 7:13-14 (KJV) I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Daniel 7:27 (KJV) And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Luke 19:11-12 (KJV) And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

John 12:23-24 (KJV) And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

John 12:28 (KJV) Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

John 13:31-32 (KJV) Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

John 17:10 (KJV) And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

I really don't understand why you continue to insist that Christ will come three times when the Bible explicitly tells us He shall come but twice, and in the interim, He would send His Spirit to save and guide His people?

Jesus has not yet come with His angels to gather all people before Him while then separating the sheep from the goats at which point the sheep (believers) inherit eternal life in the kingdom prepared for us from the foundation of the world with the goats (unbelievers) being cast into the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Make no mistake, the initial judgement of God has been operative and in full force, ever since Pentecost.

Please comprehend WHAT the Spirit is ACTUALLY saying in John 3:18
He that believeth on him IS NOT condemned: BUT he that believeth NOT IS condemned ALREADY,  BECAUSE he hath NOT believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Why do you not actually address my arguments? Matthew 25:31-46 very clearly has all people being gathered AT THE SAME TIME before Jesus's throne. It's clearly not talking about something that happens over the course of time since Pentecost. In the future Jesus will come with His angels and gather all people AT THE SAME TIME at which point ALL PEOPLE will be separated into two groups that He called the sheep (believers) and the goats (unbelievers). He will then judge all people with all of us giving an account of ourselves to Him.

Matthew 25:31-46 is not about determining who is and is not condemned. That will already be determined before that. That is determined when each person dies. The souls and spirits of those who are saved go to heaven when they die and the souls and spirits of the unsaved go to hell when they die. What will happen at that time in the future when Jesus comes with His angels is that everyone will give an account of themselves (Romans 14:10-12) in terms of how they treated "the least of these" and so on. Then, when the judgment is over, all believers will inherit eternal life with immortal bodies in the kingdom prepared for us since the foundation of the world in the eternal new heavens and new earth with unbelievers being cast into the everlasting lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall strapightway glorify him.

John 17:10 (KJV) And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Though the word glorified is used in all the verses you referenced, none say the truth better of WHY Jesus Himself needed to be glorified, than John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was NOT YET [permanently] GIVEN [to anyone ever]; because that Jesus was NOT YET glorified.)
