Hi there,

So just a simple progression: Jesus destroyed the "sin", but the Holy Spirit destroys the "guilt". In other words, Jesus makes our spirit free, but the Holy Spirit makes our spirit strong. We may not be ready to be obedient to God, but the Holy Spirit ensures that our strength is growing, not diminishing. When you backslide, you think "oh no! there is something wrong with my Christianity", but actually, you don't know what growth you should be developing, until you have learned to trust the Holy Spirit - you're drinking the milk of the Word with Jesus, all you need to do is trust Jesus, at that point. This message is for people who have started to eat solid food, in the Holy Spirit - He is able to take your guilt away, so that your strength will work!

The problem for me, as a Christian, anyway, is that I got the confession of faith confused, with the discernment of the Holy Spirit; I thought "I have confessed, I should be strong", but confession is something Christ receives, the strength comes from the Holy Spirit, when you dwell in the Lord and have a receptive heart. The Holy Spirit can't develop your strength, if you are guilty and have an unreceptive heart. The Devil is the root cause of this, obviously; he (the Devil) attacks your faith, as if the fact that you are not serving his (the Devil's) kingdom, you must have done something wrong! It literally is condemnation for condemnation's sake!

So when you are attacked, you start to forget that you have been forgiven, but you worry (the way Peter drowned, when he tried to walk on water) that you may not have been forgiven, the right way! The reality is: what Christ did (on the Cross) was perfect, not that we now have an excuse to sin, but that we have an example to wait by, which will work to receive the seed of the Holy Spirit that we need. No seed, no strength. The seed has to actually grow, and this cannot be rushed. When we die in the Lord, the seed begins to germinate - we can't pull it up or over-fertilize it, we have to trust the growing process.

Clarity will come, when we start to see the strength of the seed developing. We will get to know our character and perception, and precise conviction, when the Holy Spirit's conviction has grown in us, into a living sapling. The time will come when we use that strength in obedience to God, what it is, in the meantime, is that we don't have to fear. The "guilt" will be gone, and the fruit bearing process will develop. This is power! This is reckoning! We need to rejoice that our guilt has started to die! Join me in this, brothers - they will never take our faith for granted, once we have this strength!

I hope this has been of some encouragement.

God bless.

And what is MOST IMPORTANT to know is how a person "today' will enter eternal life
1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 is the Gospel that teaches how someone 'today' is saved & sealed.
Gal 1:11-12 That Gospel was taught ONLY to Paul by Christ
The conditions are :-
Titus 3:5-7
Gal 2:16
Eph 2:8-9
Rom 3:28
Rom 4:5
Rom 5:1
ANYONE who teaches you otherwise is ACCURSED Gal 1:6-9 and a fool Gal 3:1-4
****
Those teachings are from Christ THROUGH Paul which applies to this current "age' that we are in :-
The "Body of Christ" Church age UNIQUELY taught by Paul

Hi there,

Let us take a moment and look at this with a simple and steady heart.

You spoke about freedom, about guilt fading, about strength growing like a seed. These are good images. But we must anchor them in the words of Jesus, so that what grows in us is true and lasting.

Jesus first shows us something very important. When a person comes to Him, He does not hold them in condemnation. In John 8:11 (ASV) He says, “Neither do I condemn thee.” This is the mercy of God. This is where peace begins. But He does not stop there. He also says, “go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.” So freedom is not given so we remain the same, but so we can walk in a new life.

Many struggle here. When they fall, they feel something is broken beyond repair. But listen to the voice of Jesus again. In John 14:27 He says, “Peace I leave with you… Let not your heart be troubled.” So the life with Him is not meant to be a life of constant fear, but a life where we return again and again to His peace.

Now, how does strength grow? Not by our own effort alone, not by trying to prove ourselves, but by staying close to Him. Jesus gives a simple picture in John 15:4–5 : “Abide in me… he that abideth in me… beareth much fruit.” A branch does not struggle to produce fruit by itself. It remains connected, and life flows through it.

This is where your image of the seed becomes clear. Jesus Himself said in Mark 4:26–27 that the seed grows, “he knoweth not how.” The growth is real, but it is quiet, patient, and often unseen at first. You cannot rush it. You cannot force it. You remain, and God gives the increase.

And what happens when fear comes? When doubt enters the heart? We have already seen it before. Peter walked on the water, but when he looked at the wind, he began to sink. Yet in Matthew 14:30–31 (ASV) it says, “Jesus stretched forth his hand.” This is our hope. Even when faith is weak, His hand is near.

So we learn that falling does not mean the end. Fear does not mean we are cast away. It means we must look again to Him. And there is a promise for those who stay in His word. In John 5:24 (ASV) He says, “He that heareth my word, and believeth… hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment.” This is not a life ruled by guilt, but a life guided by truth. So let our hearts be settled in this:

Thant Christ has opened the way, and there is no condemnation in Him.
He calls us to walk in a new life, not to remain in the old.
Growth comes like a seed, slow but sure, from God.
Our part is to remain in Him and to trust His words.
When fear rises, we turn back, and His hand is there, always.

This is where strength truly grows. Not in striving alone, but in abiding. Not in fear, but in trust. Not in confusion, but in His word;

If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:15-17

May this bring clarity and peace to your heart.

God bless.
