Research shows it can significantly boost total blood testosterone and improve sexual function in men.

I'm married and have no need to improving sexual function as the need for that sort of thing is non existent in my household.

If there were some health benefits I might look at it, but if all it does is make someone want to be a pervert, I'll pass.

So what does Fenugreek do?
Nothing for building muscle. There are no supplements that increase testosterone in either a meaningful way or to a meaningful degree that would make any difference for building muscle.

Lifting heavy and losing fat are two reliable ways to increase testosterone.

Any proof it actually increases testosterone?

The marketing stuff they put in their advertising doesn't count as they'll pay a "doctor" to claim he ran some tests in his "lab" and claim their product increases testosterone but we all know paid spokesmen cannot be trusted as they are being paid to speak favorably by the people paying him.

Just to let everyone know this forum is not interested in improving sexual function in men.

It should be understood that we are all perverts in what we do, and not necessarily in the sexual sense.

We are all perverse, just the degree and version differ.

When we come out of the left field unexpectedly within a court of law we are often accused of perverting the Law. In other words we are being called a perverse person.

Google is a clown show choked full of fake stuff.

No, I was asking if YOU have any proof or is you are just sharing your conjecture.
I take so many supplements not sure which ones are actually working.

That can make one's liver quiver and cause problem there
I take TUDCA to protect my liver
  • TUDCA (tauroursodeoxycholic acid) is a unique bile acid found in small amounts in the overall composition of bile. It has been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years as a digestive aid and liver support, and we are now able to produce it as a supplement.
  • TUDCA’s many benefits include digestive support (especially for fats), promoting liver and kidney function, brain health, cellular support, and eye health.*

Weightlifters and powerlifters take it to protect their livers from steroids

And buying supplements from the godless communists is a good way to get a bunch of impurities in to one's system such as heavy metals and lead which is bad for one's health

Much of this imported stuff when tested shows to have things in it that shouldn't be there

A healthy body is helpful and useful at every juncture and advisable to maintain but try as we may, sooner or later the structure will sag and wither. Even the most beautiful turn into wrinkled shoe leather, deflated tyres and finally a rotting corpse.
So the question is, will I spend inordinate amount of energy and time to glorify my flesh, to polish my ego and to impress the sons of men with a rapidly fading glory?

It's not just about looking good but also feeling good. The question is, how do you want to spend the last decade of your life? Feeble or bedridden and dependent on others or able-bodied? I've seen the former, and it's not a pretty picture. Muscles are more than just for ascetics; they are an indication of metabolic health. Less muscle equals metabolic dysfunction, which leads to metabolic diseases like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.

If there were some health benefits I might look at it, but if all it does is make someone want to be a pervert, I'll pass.

Testosterone has lots of health benefits beyond that. You're going to feel terrible if it's too low.

Nothing for building muscle. There are no supplements that increase testosterone in either a meaningful way or to a meaningful degree that would make any difference for building muscle.

Supplements have a place. They don't raise testosterone so much as help to keep it optimal. If you're young or your testosterone is already good, then they won't do anything, but for us older folks, we need all the help we can get!
