Even in retirement from the ministry, I teach preach and practice what Jesus and the apostles taught, preached and practiced. You and your companions are treating me as if I were an unbeliever.
OH NO!!!
I don't treat you like an "unbeliever!"
I DO however strive in "presenting" to you and your readers that there is not ONLY the "Spiritual War" that CANNOT be fought with "weapons of the world!"
There's ALSO this "PHYSICAL War" against "satan and his cronies" that CAN! AND "SHOULD BE CONFRONTED/FOUGHT/ENCOUNTERED/DEFENDED and CONTENDED FOR!"

That comes from the "further healing" OF Jesus and the apostles which then carries one in the "baring of weapons of the world" WITH and FROM Authority "Mandated" FROM and BY the Father and GOD of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Steps you are refusing to even acknowledge, let alone TAKE!

And THIS is WHERE the "proverbial RUB" is!

Meaning? There's a whole LOT more "to the Kingdom" you NEED to be COGNIZANT of!
But are at this present time?
DENY of it even EXISTING!
This is ALL I'm striving in presenting to you!

Give to Caesar what is Caesar's.

Teaching others that it‘s okay (even necessary and / or commanded by Jesus) for followers of Jesus to kill followers of Jesus, as well as killing armed and unarmed enemies of Jesus, is an allegiance show and tell.

Allegiance is to the state and its lord, not to the lord (Psalm 110:1) Jesus Messiah.

I don't treat you like an "unbeliever!"

You subscribe to the teaching of the concealed identity church -> “You are not following Jesus if you aren’t armed, ready to kill.”

You quote Jesus’ words to unbelieving Jews and apply them to me.

An unbeliever is someone who doesn’t have eyes to see and ears to hear Jesus.

Oh yes. You treat me like an unbeliever.

I’ve already addressed this thoroughly.

“Christianity is best when it is expressed from the cross - from the place of sacrifice, suffering, failure, and not from a position of power. … Jesus is a light to the nations only from the cross, not by the sword of Constantine. Jesus is not a light to the nations when he is the handsome, Christian version of Prometheus, the powerful heir to the Roman Empire upheld by the ‘army of Christ.’”

(Rabbi David Zaslow, Jesus: First-Century Rabbi, p. 130)

The unbelieving Rabbi is sympathetic to Jesus, a fellow Jew, and even to Christianity. However, he is kept from following Jesus, in part, due to the Crusades. And he knows that the source of the “You are not a follower of Jesus if you aren’t armed, ready to kill” teaching of the concealed identity church isn’t the New Testament, which he calls the “Younger Testament.”

Don't worry, Matthias. The Crusader ethos treats believer and unbeliever alike.

Spurgeon is one of my favorite Christian authors …

“The world’s one and only remedy is the cross.” - C.H. Spurgeon

Why didn’t he say the world’s one and only remedy is the sword? The sword is the world’s malady.

Besides the fact that he is a pacifist, why didn’t he say the world’s one and only remedy is the cross and the sword?

Cruel treatment of enemies is illegitimate because it stands in opposition to the kind treatment of enemies which Jesus and the apostles taught and performed.

The Muslims and the crusaders were both cruel to their enemies.

The teaching of the concealed identity church normalizes the violent behavior of the crusaders when what must be normalized for Christians is the behavior of Jesus and the apostles.

There's a whole LOT more "to the Kingdom" you NEED to be COGNIZANT of!

I was fixing to do some reading when your words came to me again. (Good on you.)

My ministry is renowned for its focus on the kingdom -> Jesus’ favorite topic. That’s why your words, not your message, capture my attention.

But are at this present time?
DENY of it even EXISTING!

That’s simply ignorance on your part, and easily dismissed. But there is a barb in it that doesn’t come from you; it comes from the evil one.

As I said a few minutes ago, I was fixing to read. I was searching for an article online with a title that I couldn’t recall. I used the search term “Follow Jesus and the apostles” to help me locate it.

The first thing that came up was from AI - not what I looking for. Nevertheless, it said this:

”Following Jesus and the apostles involves applying their teachings of radical love, humility, and faith to your daily life. …”

AI is telling me what I want to hear. But is it telling me the truth?

@Wrangler @Armour of God @NayborBear

And that article I was looking for? It suggested it for me.

That’s your style. Your frustration is only going to increase.

That’s my style. My peace is only going to increase.

My readers will decide for themselves which classroom is messianic in nature; which classroom they would prefer to visit.

Take a minute to think about what the pastor is saying. Decide for yourselves if, in full or in part, it has any merit.
Well? I look at it THIS way!
If Jesus Christ of Nazareth had enough "LOVE for HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN" to make a "WEAPON" TO CLEAR OUT THE TEMPLE?
Then? I have enough "Love for MY Father in Heaven" to sending HIS and mine, and yours also Matthias enemies right TO HIM!
Which kind of SHOWS where YOUR head and "love" is at! Don't it? :contemplate:

Meaning what?

Do you fear Muslims? Do you dismiss Muslims? Do you devalue Muslims? Do you love Muslims?

It would have taken too long in delivering enough stripes to kill a man!
Especially when he's running away from you!
The Temple is not LIKE the local "knife and gun club!"
Where when you walk in, they'll give ya one in case you didn't bring yours!
No Matthias! He HAD to leave His sword with the "Temple Whore" at the "Weapon Check!"

Meaning whatr

There is no indication in scripture that he harmed anyone.

The people of Germany allowed it to happen.

Pacifism isn’t passive. People like me sheltered Jews from the Nazis. I specifically brought the famous case of Andre Trocme to your attention -

Did you read the Yad Vashem article? Do you know what Yad Vashem is?

The story of the pacifist respected and honored by the Jewish people; disrespected and dishonored by you. The Jewish people do not accuse him of “allowing ‘THIS’ to happen;” you do.

Think back to the Crusades and remember the crusaders slaughtering the Jews - men, women, and children. That was done by ones just like you.

P.S.

Do you believe that Jesus, the apostles, and the earliest followers of Jesus - people just like me - allowed the Romans to imprison, torture, and kill the followers of Jesus?

Spurgeon is one of my favorite Christian authors …

”A single word from Christ could have destroyed his enemies, as the leaves of autumn lie withered and dead.” - C.H. Spurgeon

@Armour of God @NayborBear

That’s true, isn’t it?

He didn’t do it. Nor did he do it when the apostles and his earliest followers were severely persecuted by Caesar.

Neither he nor they treated their enemies in the manner which you counsel.
