Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
I don’t think you’re understanding what the “daily sacrifice” and the “abomination of desolation” refer to.
This isn’t about Jewish sacrifices—whether in the first century (as Preterists argue) or a future third temple (as Premillennialists believe).
The “daily sacrifice” points to the ongoing work of salvation in the New Testament era when Christ being our high priest doing offering on our behalf. Once the full number of the elect is gathered (Revelation 7:1–4), that “sacrifice” ceases—no further salvation is added! At that point, Satan is released from the bottomless pit, bringing apostasy and desolation upon the Church, which becomes spiritually “Sodom and Egypt.” That is where the abomination that causes desolation is established—not in a physical temple, but within a corrupted Church - all over the world, wherever the frogs, I mean the false prophets and christs, are! All over the world, Gog and Magog! Think about it!
The 1,335 days points to the Last Day and the Second Coming, when we await the final redemption—resurrection and gathering of the saints.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Jesus warns, “Whoso readeth, let him understand,” showing this requires spiritual discernment, not surface-level assumptions.
Many assume the “abomination of desolation” refers to a future or past event in a physical Jewish temple. However, the New Testament consistently identifies God’s true dwelling place after the cross
as His Church (Ephesians 2:19–22; Matthew 18:20; Colossians 2:9).
In that light, Jesus’ warning is directed to His people within the New Testament Congregation Church with "many are called but few are chosen". The “holy place” is not a physical location in Jerusalem, but the Church itself. The abomination of desolation is understood as occurring
when apostasy and corruption take hold within that spiritual temple.
At that point, believers (Elect who have been sealed) are called to recognize their church has BECOME “Babylon the Great” (Revelation 18) and flee from a fallen because the judgment of God has come. Explain more below.
This is not about physical geography, but about spiritual reality. This is where many people have missed the point!
It is not known how big the statue image will be, but probably will be large to be visible from the surrounding hills in Jerusalem, like from Mount Sinai.
Not happening, sorry to say!
The statue image will become indwelt by Satan, making it appear to come to life and speak. Revelation 13:15.
The image indwelt with Satan? No no.... sigh. (taking deep breath...) Let read the verse and context:
Rev 13:15-17
(15) And
he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the
image of the beast should both speak, and
cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
(16) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, t
o receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
(17) And that
no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The question is simple: are we really supposed to imagine a literal statue that magically talks and executes people, forcing everyone to receive a physical mark in order to buy and sell clothing or cars. Come on. That reading stretches the text into something unrealistic and disconnected from the nature of apocalyptic prophecy.
The “image of the beast” is not a physical object—it represents a doctrine or authority that mirrors Satan’s rule. The “second beast” is a body of the false prophets and false christs operating within the visible churches all over the world, presenting themselves as spiritual authority
while teaching deception. Their “power” is not in miracles of a statue, but in
persuasive doctrine that appears spiritual while being opposed to Christ. Get it?!
When it says the image is “given life,” this refers to false teaching being energized and enforced within the congregation,
shaping belief and allegiance. In that way, it “speaks” through doctrine, decree, enterainment, etc. where people loves it. But it “kills” the faithful witness by silencing truth because they do not buy satanic doctrines out of false prophets and christs' mouth. When will this take place? Consider wisely:
Rev 11:7-8
(7) And
when they shall have finished their testimony, the
beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall
make war against them, and shall
overcome them, and
kill them.
(8) And
their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which
spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
This “killing” is not physical death of the elect, nor loss of their salvation, but the
silencing of their testimony once God’s appointed witness is complete. Only God knows when the last Elect has been secured. When the great commission has fulfilled it purpose, opposition shall rises and truth is pushed out of the visible church that is now spiritually is like Egypt and Sodom for there are MANY frogs, lices, locusts, out there destroying God's crops - They are pictured as the fasle prophets and christs! They are coming with the spirit of the devils, lying and hateful spirit that many people of the congregaton seems to enjoy it and support it thinking all of this is part of their work for God. They give the false prophets and christs the places in their congregation as spiritual leaders because they like their doctrine better than faithful witnesses with Word of God!
Rev 18:2
(2) And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,
Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the
hold of every foul spirit, and a
cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 9:4-6
(4) And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but
only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
(5) And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their
torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
(6) And
in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
This describes judgment within the fallen New Testament congregation - - where deception is allowed to spread as a form of judgment, and people are handed over to strong delusion when they reject truth. The “mark” represents their allegiance in one or both ways: the mind as a form as agreement (“forehead”) and doing the will of the devil (“right hand”) shaped by false doctrine and submission to that system! This is why they will not find salvation (death in Christ) this way!
The “abomination of desolation” is therefore seen when
corruption and false teaching dominate what once appeared to be God’s people, turning the visible church into what Revelation symbolically calls Babylon!
The danger is missing the spiritual meaning while people like you only looking for a physical fulfillment in a rebuilt temple or geopolitical scenario with a certain man from Europe coming to Jerusalem to take sit in a temple. Come on! The warning is about
discernment—r
ecognizing deception where it actually operates, not where tradition assumes it must appear.
