I just ask ai and it tells me everything.
So you depend on just AI...I think AI wrote your post since you say you don't watch news or anything.

I watch various selected videos (not just anyone) which document what is actually happening and I am involved with a UK Christian chat group.

The leader of the chat group knows Ben Habib and some others in politics that are horrified at what the UK government is allowing with these unvetted, boat migrants.

So when I quoted the Welsh lady to @Rita that was not my entire source of information.

Im not into any type of drama. I just think it's highly important for people to think for themselves. They shouldn't just believe people and what they say. There is nothing wrong with that. You can be involved in whatever you want to.

I use Microsoft Co-Pilot AI, just about every day now. That's the only one that I use. It's extremely helpful regardless of what anyone says.

Like looking at GBNews and what they present.

What GB News is about

GB News is a UK‑based television and online news channel launched in 2021. Their brand identity is:

• strongly opinion‑driven • right‑leaning in political stance • focused on “anti‑establishment” commentary • heavy on debates, culture‑war topics, and panel discussions • less traditional reporting, more personality‑driven shows

Think of it as the UK’s attempt at a Fox‑style outlet: lots of commentary, lots of strong opinions, less emphasis on neutral journalism.

They position themselves as “the people’s channel,” claiming mainstream media ignores certain viewpoints.

Are they reliable on YouTube?

Short answer: they are not considered a reliable or impartial news source by UK media regulators or independent media‑bias monitors.

Here’s why:

1. Ofcom (the UK media regulator) has repeatedly ruled against them

Ofcom has found GB News in breach of broadcasting rules multiple times for:

• lack of impartiality • allowing politicians to act as news presenters • airing misleading or unchallenged claims • offensive or inappropriate content

These rulings are public record.

2. Independent media‑bias groups classify them as:

• right or lean‑right bias • mixed or questionable factual reliability

This doesn’t mean “everything they say is false,” but it means they blend facts with heavy opinion and selective framing.

3. Their YouTube content is even more opinion‑driven

On YouTube, they post:

• commentary clips • reaction pieces • political rants • culture‑war debates • interviews with minimal fact‑checking

It’s not structured like traditional journalism.

4. They are designed to appeal to a specific political audience

Their content is intentionally framed to resonate with viewers who feel mainstream media is too liberal or too controlled.

Would you agree with this estimation of what GBnews is about? Im not saying they are bad or good. I am suggesting people should think for themselves and try to be independent.

They are owned by someone in Dubai and there channel has a lot of ads - so it’s a money making machine.
I am surprised you only trust AI though Matthew, I tend to track back on stories and usually find the context, then you see the points that have been concentrated on to emphasise one aspect and ignore everything else.

Hey Rita,

It’s not that I trust AI. I just like how it helps me break down arguments, highlight the main points, or add scripture when I need it. It’s a tool — that’s all. What matters to me is that people are honest about their intentions.

I’ve always believed in being independent, and in life you really can’t expect too much from anyone. Maybe that comes from how I grew up or the way I’ve chosen to live — I’m not totally sure. But right now, I’m doing a lot better than I used to, and I’m genuinely happy with where I’m at.

I asked it about "they are owned by someone in dubai"
Short answer: Yes — GB News is partly owned by a Dubai‑based investment group, but no — it is not a “money‑making machine.” In fact, the evidence shows the opposite: GB News loses tens of millions of pounds every year and survives only because its wealthy owners keep injecting cash.

I hope you have been doing well yourself, and your family.

I think it's best to use multiple sources if we really want to be sure of something these days

Yeah, that’s definitely true when it comes to Bible study too. No doubt about that. I honestly don’t really know what’s going on in the news anymore because I hardly ever watch it. Since I believe Jesus already came, I just focus on living my life day by day — choosing whether I’m going to serve God or just follow myself. To me, there’s only one “end day,” and that’s death, not some big “end of days” event.

So I don’t keep up with the news much. I know there’s always a lot happening in governments, good and bad, but it just is what it is. People can make changes if they want to, but it has to be done the right way — through legal means, getting laws passed or removed.

Wow, thats interesting, I will explain why.
The part about the money spinning machine was not based on what I read but on what I presumed. The info relayed, and many comments from people who watch the channel, stated that the adverts drove them nuts - so I presumed that loads of ads meant it was about making money.
My presumption was wrong. So thank you and I stand corrected x
I wonder why they keep going if they lose that much ?

I rarely watch the TV news as well. I'll hear bits and pieces on the radio at work and if I'm interested in a certain story I'll look into it.

GB News will tell you what is actually happening. It's actual journalism and investigative reporting.

Brief video by GB News on how migrants are told how to break into the UK.

Some longer videos by GB News.

This is an informative video by GB News.

Gives statistics on the small boat crossings, how much money is paid to France and more. In just one weekend 1,000 illegals crossed the Channel.

I’m good. Thank you. I don’t live in the UK anyway, so I’m not really concerned about what’s going on over there. I don’t see why I should be.

When I was younger, I ended up finding some horrible videos online — the kind of stuff you stumble into before you even understand what you’re looking at. One of them was about two guys who abused a homeless man under a bridge somewhere. They recorded themselves messing with him until he was basically dead. Before that, they had filmed themselves torturing animals. Eventually they were caught, charged, and arrested for everything they did.

The case I’m talking about was the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs — the same one that later got known online as “3 Guys 1 Hammer.” It was two teenagers who escalated from killing animals to murdering vulnerable people, and one of those murders leaked online and spread everywhere back then.

I understand how people can give in to their darkest fantasies and go full force into harming others. Humans are capable of that. Thankfully, not everyone is like that.

People read books about this stuff all the time. It’s nothing new to report — just another example of how far some people will go when they lose their humanity.

There are all kinds of people in the world — some who hold racist attitudes, and even some Christians who claim other believers aren’t “real Christians.” That kind of division isn’t new, and it doesn’t help anyone grow.

As I’ve said before, if people want to change things in their own communities or countries, it needs to be done through the right means. Riots and destruction don’t build anything lasting; they usually make things worse.

And I genuinely hope people learn to think for themselves — to use their own judgment — while still taking responsibility for their own lives, especially when it comes to working, providing for themselves, and contributing to their community if that is something they choose to do. There are lot of good people out there don't get me wrong, but their also people that desire to do the bad they have in their heart.
