The two witnesses are resurrected and caught up (raptured) right before the *great* tribulation (Revelation 11:12).
Hi William,

The two witnesses will be resurrected and called up to heaven, as the great tribulation just begins.

The great tribulation begins when the abomination of desolation (AOD statute image of the beast person is set up on the temple mount.

See my chart below...

WB >> ""This is pre-great-tribulation rapture. The purpose is to remove believers from the coming carnage.""
Agreed since this is taught by Christ through Paul.
Get your baseball bat ready Will because there are many here who want to be around when the 'carnage' starts.
False Scare tactics promoted by dispensationalism

Many put the future (Man Of Sin) (The Beast) as the ruler of earth during the 3.5 year tribulation "Wrong"!

It will be God's (Two Witnesses) that rule in bringing all plagues in torturing the evil world, a literal remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt, God's in control!

Revelation 11:3-6 & 10KJV
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

The Future (Two Witnesses) "All Plagues" As Often As They Will Representing "God"

Revelation 16:1-11KJV
1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores
, and repented not of their deeds.

Your claim that 3.5 years exist after the (Two Witnesses) are raised to heaven is "False"

The (Two Witnesses) are raised from the dead "Minutes Before" the (The 7th - Last Trump In Final Judgment) at the end of this world seen in Rev 11:15-18

The 7th angel blows his trumpet and action begins that results in the third woe to the inhabiters of the earth.

The third woe being Satan cast down to earth, having great wrath knowing that his time is short - a time/times/ half time.

The 7th angel blows his trumpet, signaling Michael and his angels to cast Satan and his angels down to earth.

I made this diagram to help in understanding how the text in Revelation 11 changes from talking about the two witnesses's activities to resume talking about the revealing of the woes.

No, I am asking how can the Antichrist execute a fake rapture of actual Christians ?
Agreeing with what the Bible says is not a denial of Jesus. Perhaps they just disagree with your interpretations nor see you as having any authority to claim a monopoly on how to interpret the Bible? Protestantism has roughly 45K-50K denominations, sub-denominations, sects, and cults. There are tons of false prophets, charlatans, cult leaders, named, catalogued, and publicly available for viewing who ran their campaign under the banner of trinitarianism. Perhaps what a cult is would be a fine topic for a different thread.

In any case, are you actually going to address the issues or just insist you're right and that everyone who disagrees with you is in a cult?

He doesn't. Only false, or former Christians will be fooled by his deceptions, which may include a false rapture bvy this false christ.

There is nothing in the bible that speaks about a fake rapture event.

It speaks of deceptions and miracles, so a false rapture could be part of that. It doesn't say a false second coming either but something like that can happen.

People have different opinions on these things.

o. Some have never read the scripture relating to end times.
o. Some have read the scripture relating to end times and dismiss it.
o. Some understand what the scripture says and think it is wrong.
o. Some have read what the scripture says and believe it.

I did not grow up in a Christian home. But there were people who explaIned the Bible to me, and were patient with me. Jesus said that no man comes to him unless the Father draws him, and I was drawn. I am familiar with Latin, Greek, and Hebrew, and I appreciate these discussions.
Since Christ - Acts 9:15 chose Paul to be Rom 11:13 Apostle & Rom 15:16 Minister to Gal 2:7-9 believers today, I accept & believe the pre-tribulation rapture teachings of him.

ewq1938, a false rapture would be of such a significance that if it were something that is going to happen, the bible would have many references to it.

As far as a false second coming, there are several individuals claiming that they are Jesus returned - such as - Alan John Miller in Australia.

Revelation 13:5KJV (The Beast)
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Revelation 11:3KJV (The Two Witnesses)
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Scripture teaches that armies surrounding a future Jerusalem will be a sign that Daniel's AOD is near Luke 21:20, this AOD will start the future 3.5 year great tribulation in the Antichrist proclaiming to be God-Messiah in Jerusalem 2 Thess 2:3-4

(The Beast) and (The Two Witnesses) will be on this earth in Jerusalem during the same time frame of 3.5 years, the two prophets returned will bring all plagues upon the wicked world so often as they will, as the Holy Spirit sealed Church is protected Rev 9:4, Eph 1:13, 4:30, a good description of these plagues can be seen in Rev 16:1-11, its going to be a complete remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt as the two prophets representing God will torment the unsaved wicked world

When the two prophets have finished their work on earth (The Beast) will kill them, their dead bodies will lay in a literal Jerusalem street for 3.5 days as a wicked world watches in celebration, because the plagues brought by them tormented the world, after this 3.5 days they will be raised from the dead as God lifts them to heaven before the world watching

After the two prophets are raised to heaven (The Same Hour) the great earthquake takes place as the 2nd woe is fulfilled, the 3rd woe comes even quicker in the 7th Angel/Trump sounding as the second coming of the Lord Jesus takes place in final judgement Rev 11:18 (Then Cometh The End)

Conclusion: From the time (The Beast) kills the (Two Witnesses) until the time the 7th trump is blown will be a matter of about 4 days

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) will be on this earth for the same time frame of 3.5 years as clearly shown, simple, clear, easy to understand, (3.5 days + 1 hour + quickly = Roughly 4 days) = (The Last Day) The End

Jesus Is The Lord

Revelation 11:1-19KJV
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Wow thats some crazy stuff thats going to happen. I have always found revelations hard to understand. I understand the commentary. But all the debating about which comes first and how it will happen can be confusing.

I tend to look at it in terms of the Fig tree example of the changing season. Just like we can tell the signs of the seasons. So to can we see the signs of Christs coming. The changing conditions and awareness. Or political and cultural climate. The world has to build towards these things to be ready.

Many of the signs of other times in the past where Gods judgement comes are repeating. God does not allow evil to go unchecked without a reminder or wakeup call. Just like the buildup for an earthquake where the tension has built up and stepping closer to breaking point. It seems a perfect storm as even the likelihood of massive earthquakes is also overdue.

Even the idea of rejoicing at Gods prophets lying dead in the street. This kind of mindset is happening today. as Christ said peoples love will run cold.

But who or what could be the beast that it could hold such authority and speak blasphemies against God ? Even claiming to be God.

There are many things the bible does not explicitly speak of. Deceptions and miracles and a false christ can imply deceiving miracles that would surround the arrival of a false jesus, which is a false resurrection, a false rapture and maybe making people believe they have eternal life when they are mortal. The bible does not say anything about microchips, the internet or AI but any of these might be part of the tools the AC will use.

The complete package of "Dispensationalism" is far greater than the simple word "Dispensation"

Teachings Within Dispensationalism's Broader Package Below

1.) Dual covenat theology in two peoples of God (Israel/Church), a false teaching

2.) Christian Zionism, Israel and the Jew's are presently God's chosen people based upon race and ethnic heritage, a false teaching

3.) A Pre-Trib rapture, a false teaching

4.) A literal future 1,000 year kingdom on this earth, a false teaching

A biblical 'dispensation' is a set of rules/guidelines that apply to a certain age/audience
Currently we are under the "dispensation of the grace of God"
Eph 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
Who was that 'dispensation' revealed to ? Paul, no other.

I believe "Thy Wrath Is Come" is representing the 2nd and 3rd woes in the Lords second coming and final judgement, and it directly relates to the context of Revelation Chapter 11, (The Nation's Were Angry) (The Time Of The Dead That They Should Be Judged)
Rev 9:12 "One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter." End of woe 1.

Start of woe 2. Rev 9:13 "And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. 16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them."

This woe lasts for a little more than 3.5 years. I believe that these are the armies of Dan 11:40-41 "And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon." It will take some amount of time before the 3.5 years of great tribulation for these armies to move from the Euphrates River to Jerusalem to start the period of great tribulation.

These 2 armies of Rev 9:13 and Dan 11:40 are the same armies. They will take away the sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation under antichrist the little horn, at the beginning of the 3.5 year great tribulation.

Thus, the 2nd woe continues from Rev 9:13 until Rev 13-14.
13 "And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly."

During the 2nd woe, the nations are angry. There is no specific mention of God's wrath during the 2nd woe.
During the 3rd woe, the nations are fearful as they are being destroyed by God's bowls of wrath.

This is the beginning of God's kingdom on earth. At this point, the little horn antichrist has lost his ability to attract more followers, although he still maintains his armies in Israel. At this point the armies of antichrist only lose as they are now in a fight against God. Rev11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

"are become" is present tense. This is the moment God begins his reign over the kingdoms of this world.

Rev 11:18 "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth."

"And the nations "were angry" is past tense. The moment God begins his reign is the moment the anger of the nations turns to fear because these nations are now being destroyed by God. The destruction of the destroyers is IMO God's wrath. The most complete description of God's wrath IMO is Rev 16, which I don't think will happen in 4 days. Rev 16: 13-14. "13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."

That great day of God Almighty will be the final day of God's wrath, the day when God's enemies will become bird food upon the mountains of Israel. This day is also the day of the 2nd great earthquake of Rev 6:14-17.
"and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

Have you ever noticed how earthquakes and resurrections seem to go together?
The 2 witnesses, Jesus, Lazarus, and finally everyone IMO during this last day, the great day of God's wrath.

The 3rd woe is the (7th Trump/Angel) sounding in the second coming Rev 11:15, and final judgment Rev 11:18

Revelation 11:12-18KJV
To help in understanding Revelation 11, I made this diagram.

I believe that these are the armies of Dan 11:40-41 "
I will explain the second woe which will take place over a month or two (not 3.5 years) near the end of the 7 years. The second woe's timing, I show on this chart I made of the seven seals.

the seven seals c.jpg

As a result of the trumpet plagues and vials of God wrath poured out during the great tribulation, oil - the life blood of the nations - will become harder to obtain, especially that which is in the middle east.

The beast-king (the Antichrist in his final stage) will be funneling all the middle east oil to the EU and its western nations allies.

Faced with the crisis of dwindling oil, the nations to the north, east, south of Jerusalem will have no choice but to attempt to remove the beast-king and his armies from Jerusalem and the middle east. The kings of the east, China and allies, will make up the 200 million army that will kill a third of mankind as the they march westward (as the second woe takes place).

You are right that Daniel 11:40-41 identifies the actions of the beast-king (the king of the west). My first chart below is based on Daniel 11:40-44. And my second chart below based on Daniel 11:45.

I labeled the first chart as a "prelude to Armageddon" because as the fighting is taking place, unexpectedly the sixth seal event takes place, and the sign of the Son of Man appears place in heaven - Jesus, sickle in hand (see my illustration below).

So all the fighting going on against the beast-king and his armies will stop because the bigger threat.

And that is when the false prophet, the beast king, and Satan (speaking through the statue image of the beast-king) in Revelation 16:13-14 convince the kings of the earth to take up their courage and gather their armies (which will all already be in the middle east) at Armageddon to prepare to make war against Jesus and His armies of heaven.

Jesus will destroys those armies and their kings in Revelation 19:19-21 at His return to this earth.

That idea is from men behind the false Pre-trib Rapture theory.

Per Revelation 11, God's "two witnesses" arise immediately just prior to the sounding of the 7th Trumpet which is when Jesus comes. All these below verses happen within the same time frame very quickly with each other...

Rev 11:11-15
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, "Come up hither." And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever."
KJV

Even though that third woe and sounding of the 7th Trumpet is written right after the ending of the second woe, all those events above in 'red' happen closely together.

The Pre-trib Rapture theory wrongly ADDS... a seven year period (tribulation) in between the "two witnesses" rising at the end of the 2nd Woe, and Jesus' return on the start of the 3rd Woe. Nothing like that is written in the above Revelation 11 Scripture. Also, those events written that go with that 3rd Woe from Revelation 11:15-19 are linked to that great earthquake and destruction in Jerusalem at the ending of the 2nd Woe when the "two witnesses" arise.

Here's the order of those events in outline fashion:

1. God's "two witnesses" arise and are caught up to Heaven at the ending of the 2nd Woe.
2. In that same hour, that great earthquake happens, with Jesus' feet touching down upon the Mount of Olives east of Jerusalem, bringing all His elect there with Him, to represent the 3rd final Woe upon the earth (Jesus' return upon the Mount of Olives is what causes the great earthquake per Zechariah 14, which also says He brings all His elect there with Him).
I wish you had read the rest of my post instead of assuming I was talking about a pre-trib, 7 year early rapture. In the pre-trib theory, all Christians are raptured 7 years early. In the rapture of the 2 witnesses/144,000, only these are raptured (ascend in a cloud).

I agree that the verses in red above, Rev 11:13-15 "happen closely together."

Where we disagree is what earthquake we are talking about. The earthquake of Rev 11:13 is the earthquake which ends the 2nd woe, which is the same earthquake that ends the period of great tribulation. There is a separate earthquake that occurs IMO at the time of Jesus' return, at the end of the period of God's wrath, which is the earthquake of Zech 14.

Matt 24:29-30 "
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Immediately after the tribulation of those days The great tribulation has ended. The first earthquake has passed.
then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven The 2 witnesses died, rose again, were lifted up in a cloud into heaven, just like Jesus did.
they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven This is the Zech 14 earthquake which occurs at the end of the period of God's wrath. The period of God's wrath begins immediately after the tribulation of those days and it continues until Jesus is seen in heaven.

A parallel passage to Matt 24:29-30 is provided in Rev 6:12-17.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days Rev 6.12-14a (First earthquake)
"12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;"

they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven Rev 6:14b-17 (Second earthquake)
"and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

the face of him that sitteth on the throne This is actually God the Father and corresponds with Zech 14:4 " And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."

the Lamb is actually still up in the air at the time the throne of God has descended upon the mount of Olives as made clear in the next verse. Zech 14:5 "And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. Jesus is the one mentioned here as the Lord my God, coming back to earth with all the saints. As the people of Israel are fleeing, they will see Jesus coming in the air with all of his saints.

IMO the time of the second earthquake is the time of the resurrection. This is quickly followed by the rapture of the living and the dead who belong to Jesus. They meet Jesus in the air and return to earth with him.
