Microevolution yes.
Small differences within a species yes
Macroevolution no.
New species coming from other species via materialistic processes no
Universal common ancestor no

I agree with you. There can be transitions within a species. That isn't evolution. I understand the theory of evolution to teach we all came from a single cell.

I believe God created us and everything.

AOG I'm glad you liked the book and ordered it. There are many Bible believing scientists connected with The Institute for Creation Research. They have many articles and videos to support Creation.

I didn't get to watch this video yet but it sounds interesting.

That is anything that is theory until it is proven....theory comes first.
At one time they believed the world was flat and the sun and moon orbited the earth. Over time they made observations and then they got a good look at it and knew the score.
As far as interpreting anyway they want to.....too many people looking at the fossils and the digs to have personal interpretations. The science of it is pretty advanced as far as analyzing DNA and dating is now a triangulation of different methods including the layer of soil it was found in.
As far as lucy and point that we went from "great ape" to early man? Nothing happened like a switch or instance in time. Several species existed as they evolved.

Macroevolution has never been observed.
It's based on speculation.

A theory is just a theory. The problem I have is that it gets taught as if it's a fact without presenting the case for intelligent design. This pulls many people away from God. That's my main concern. Pseudo-scientific theories pulling people away from God. I've stated this already but you seem to be evading my biggest concern.

And you didn't answer my questions either.
Do believe humans evolved from apes?
Do you believe all life evolved from a single cell common ancestor?

If everything is to be taken literally why aren't people living how the bible tells us or taking care of the poor as Jesus wanted. No one follows the bible literally in this day and age.Its about wealth power and security the same things offer to Christ by the Devil which Jesus rejected - do you reject it?

Taking care of “the poor”?
As Jesus wanted?

DUEL meaning….Conclusion per Jesus.
[1]
poor … without necessities
poor … offer a temporary Helping Hand
poor … offer / assist in securing Work

[2]
poor … in spirit
poor … offer Word of God

Conclusion …per “the (majority) of poor”…

[1]
poor … in necessities
poor … force / take from the wealthy and give to “them” forever.

[2]
poor … in spirit
poor …in Gods Word…
Stop trying to “push” Gods Word on “them”,
Their “children”.

* Jesus’ Way…Offering; Helping Hand
Jesus’ Way…Leading; Toward Righteousness.

* The Poor’s Way…Forever Lifestyle of Freebies at an-others Efforts, Expense.

Context matters.

When you last saw a person that you suspected MAY have been homeless, did you ask them if they were, would you then take them home with you ? << 2nd greatest command "love your neighbor as yourself"

Agree.

God “created” and “made” KINDS of things.

The “created” KINDS ARE Established, Specific, Limited.

The “making” HAS abilities of “adaptions” For natural “Survival”.
(strength, color, instincts, locating water, desert, travel, swamps, snow, poisons, food sources, etc)

Gods Brilliant Plan…
Creation of Animals Before Man-KIND…
Observe, Notice, Instincts, Excellent Sight, Hearing, Warnings, Reproduction, Caring for Offspring, Plants to Avoid, Lurking Dangers, etc.

No. I do not approach strangers and ASK IF they HAVE a HOME or NOT or WHY.

No. I do not believe street beggars, on the Same corner day after day, is an upstanding “occupation”.

No. I do not volunteer to bring strangers into my home.

Yes. I observe strangers, their appearance, if they are struggling, with a load, if they are overheating, cold, stranded, trying to decide if they can pay for A package of meat, etc. and Offer a helping hand, unassuming, without fanfare, and give God the credit.

I wouldn't because I have to be able to trust that person won't rob me while I'm at work or gone out.
Unfortunately people are hard to trust these days. It's something that has to be earned.
Besides I don't have a spare room anyway.
I have bought food for homless people before and sat down to eat and talk to them.

We ALL justify the reasons why we sin, I'm no better than you and am guilty of also willfully breaking that commandment.
Fortunately our 'performance' is not a condition to be 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 saved AND HS sealed

I don't believe it's a sin even if someone does have a spare room. Loving your neighbour doesn't mean it's a sin if you don't take in a homless person.

Besides, i don't have a spare room anyway, I live in a caravan, so technically I'm homless myself

""i don't have a spare room anyway, I live in a caravan, so technically I'm homless myself""
My sympathies to you yet many a homeless would much prefer that than a park bench
""i don't have a spare room anyway"" - neither do I
Yet If it was a close loved family member, you & I would somehow MAKE room/allowances but not for a stranger.
...
Luke 10:30-37 - good Samaritin
You, I & most people here are the Luke 10:31-32 type & not the good samaritin
We disobey Luke 10:37
..
Matt 25:44-46 me guilty as charged, what about you ?
Point ?
Paul does not teach 'performance' as a condition to be 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 saved AND HS sealed
Just as well Hey AOG !!!

Many homeless are mentally ill or criminals in Los Angeles, so one just can't take strangers into your dwelling.

I remember a case where a woman tried to help an aquaintance, thinking it would be only a month that the other woman stayed with her. The other woman refused to leave.

This is the horror story...

We ALL here are sinners and we ALL try to justify our sin in some way
Luke 10:37 is a commandment that we break ""And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.""
What about Matt 25:44-46
44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
That's another commandment I break, anyone else here want to put their hand up ?
Point ?
If 'performance' is ALSO a requirement today to be & or remain saved then how many on this forum won't be ?
LUCKILY Christ through Paul taught we are saved AND HS sealed by trusting the 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 Gospel
and that 'performance' is NOT a condition :
Titus 3:5-7, Gal 2:16, Eph 2:8-9, Rom 3:28, Rom 4:5, Rom 5:1

Like I said, that's not a sin anyway.
Besides, this thread is not about faith alone or salvation.
That's all you seem to want to talk about.

Yes, because my desire is that people know what is required to be saved and to stop having the not so sure worry whether they are saved or not.
Christ selected Paul to teach you & I how to be saved, Christ selected his other Apostles for a different age & audience.
Blending them all together for today = confusion & arguments and what do you see here & elsewhere ? Confusion & arguments.
ps No-one is obligated to respond to me so simply don't respond or put me on ignore
