The book of Revelation for the world today.
A WAR IS COMING, BUT IT WON’T BE FOUGHT ON EARTH. Revelation 12 reveals a stunning future battle in heaven: Michael and God’s angels will confront Satan and his forces, and Satan will be defeated and cast down to earth. But what happens next could unleash the darkest fury humanity has ever witnessed. Why does Satan want to destroy Israel and God’s people? And why does heaven warn, “Woe to the earth”?

Just because one war is in heaven does not mean a war on Earth isn't coming. The war in the last verse of Rev 12 is a reference to the Tribulation, found in Rev 13.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

From my study of the scriptures, the War in Heaven will end around the year 2044/2045 when Satan and the other judged heavenly hosts are judged in heaven, they will be kicked out of heaven down to the earth and imprisoned for 1,000 years in the Bottomless Pit along with the judged Kings of the earth who will assemble at that same time at Armageddon.

Then for 1,000 years there will be "peace" on the earth, free from the influence of the Judged Heavenly Hosts, until and angel comes down from heaven to unlock the Bottomless pit so that they can have access to the face of the earth during the Little While Period which I have assumed has a duration of just 24 years before all of the wicked and judged heavenly hosts will have been dispatched into the Lake of Fire where they will have no more direct influence over the sea of humanity.

During the 1,000 years that Satan and the others are locked up in the Bottomless Pit God's Everlasting Kingdom will be established on the face of the earth and it will flourish unhindered during this 1,000-year period.

At the end of the Little While Period, Jesus will return on the clouds with all of the heavenly realm to begin His judgement of all of the peoples of the earth.

Then when the Earth has been cleansed, God too will descend with Jerusalem and Eternity will commence.

The war in Revelation 12:7-12 will be in the second heaven, the cosmos where the stars are, which Satan and his angels will be cast down to earth.

Satan and his angels were cast out of the third heaven, where God's throne is, when they first rebelled against God.

The video speaker is incorrect in saying that the war is in heaven where God's throne is. Satan can enter in the third heaven only when summoned there by God to appear before God, temporarily.

I agree. The only hinderance will be the "evil" that is naturally in mans hearts due to the fall.
At the end of the Little While Period, Jesus will return on the clouds with all of the heavenly realm to begin His judgement of all of the peoples of the earth.
I see Jesus returning on His white horse prior to the 1,000 year reign. You seem to put it after. What draws you to that conclusion?
Rev 19 described the return of Christ then the next thing we read about is the 1,000 years.
Then when the Earth has been cleansed, God too will descend with Jerusalem and Eternity will commence.
I agree with this.

How do you now this war didn't happen when Jesus died on the cross....as John was re-capping.

The war in the second heaven in Revelation 12:7-12 will be after the 1260 day first half of the 7 years, in Revelation 12:6.

Satan, cast down to earth, will have great wrath, knowing that his time is short, i.e. the time/times/half of Revelation 12:14.
His great wrath will be the third woe to the inhabiters of the earth, Revelation 12:12.

Here a couple of charts I made relative to the timing involved...

Just curious....how do you come up with the years 2044/2045?

From knowing when the fourth age of the visitation of the father's iniquities will end and the year that Isaac was born with respect to when Adam was created and that Adam was created around the year 4,100 BC. The maths points to the 2044/2045 AD conclusion.

Where does the 24 years come from? Is this the last 24 years of the reign of Christ or the 24 years after?

We are told this in Daniel 7:12: -

1788732313946.png

Now a Generation/Age has a duration of 1,024 Solar years and we are told that the Summer Season for the harvest of Souls will be for 1,000 solar years such that there is a period of "time", referred to as "A Little While" in Rev 20 when the Bottomless Pit will be unlocked and the entities initially imprisoned in the Bottomless pit will be allowed access to re-establish their influence over the peoples of the earth for the rest of the last generation/age and oppose God's Everlasting Kingdom that came into being during the 1,000 years of peace on the earth while these entities were imprisoned in the Bottomless Pit. The maths clearly indicates that this Little While period has a duration of 24 years.

I agree. The only hinderance will be the "evil" that is naturally in mans hearts due to the fall.

Jesus in the Parable of the Talents and the Minas plainly tells us that Satan's "good and faithful servants" will use the money he, i.e. Satan, will give them to impede, if possible, God's Everlasting kingdom, from being established.

I see Jesus returning on His white horse prior to the 1,000 year reign. You seem to put it after. What draws you to that conclusion?
Rev 19 described the return of Christ then the next thing we read about is the 1,000 years.

This is where we diverge in our understanding of what will happen during the last age for mankind as we know it today.

The Book of Revelation has been written in the order as to what has been revealed to John and is not a chronological revelation of the end times as you are suggesting in your understanding.

I agree with this.

Yes, the war in heaven started around the time of Christ's crucifixion and it will conclude when the Kings of the earth assemble at Armageddon, around two generations/ages later, to be judged and at this same time the Heavenly Hosts will also be judged and they, the kings of the earth and the heavenly hosts, will be imprisoned in a pit for many days to await the time of their punishment. (Isaiah 24:21-22)

Shalom

PS: - Dougggg has this fixation that his diagrams tell the story of how the end times will unfold. Sadly, his chronology of the end time events does not match scripture.

The reason that John was not re-capping when Jesus died on the cross is that Revelation 12:7-9 follows the 1260 days of Revelation 12:6.

That seems a bit loose....Ussher had a different age of Adams creation.
Why was his date wrong and the date you accept right?

That seems a bit loose....Ussher had a different age of Adams creation.
Why was his date wrong and the date you accept right?

Because Ussher used only 1,000 years for an age/generation, whereas in the Book of Revelation and Daniel, an age was 1,000 years plus the Little While Period which seems to fall out as exactly 24 years. Also, Ussher also used that a Prophetic Year consisted of only 360 days and then converted that to solar years and if you used his formula you arrived at his same understanding. However, in Daniel 9:24a was given 490 years of the Sin Sacrifice to repent of their idolatrous worship during the first two ages of the existence of the nation of Israel from the time of Isaac's birth. However, Ussher used his formula of multiplying the number of years by 360 and then dividing that number of "days" by 365 to arrive at the number of solar years which then changes the number of applicable Sin Sacrifices from 490 opportunities down to 483 opportunities for Israel to repent.

Now if we consider the Chronology of the OT Patriarchs from Adam to Jacob, we will discover that Isaac was born in the year 2,049 from the creation of Adam and not in the year 2,048th year from Adam's creation, accord to the Seder Olam Rabbah, which is also known as the Book of the Order of the world.

Now the OT record indicates that Terah, Abraham's father died one year before Sahar died, but because Stephen said in his defence before he was stoned to death, that Abraham left Haran after his "father" had died and as such because some scholars believe that Stephen was referring to Abraham's natural father and not to his Historical father, Noah, who was the only Patriarchal Father who died during the time, possibly around 25 years, that Abraham lived in Haran.

I would humbly suggest that my understanding is not loose as you have suggested, but that Ussher fudged his OT chronology to come to what he finally published.

Now if Isaac was born at the beginning of the third age of mankind, then there were 2,048 years in the first two ages such that an age therefore has a duration of 1,024 years which then means that the Little While Period that will exist after Satan is released, after he is imprisoned, must only have a duration of only 24 years if he was judged at either, the very end of the sixth age, or at the start of the seventh age, of mankind. The maths is consistent in either case.

Shalom

I thought Ussher simply added up the genealogy in the bible...You know, when so and so was this age He has this kid.

He started with the premise that Adam was created in the year 4004 BC in the month of ???? on the day ???

He also assumed that an age/generation had a duration of just 1,000 years.

Using the chronological years as to when the patriarchs' births took place coupled with the time given between certain events and prophecy words which sets out a timespan that the prophecy indicated we can calculate that the time span from Adam's birth until the end of the seventh age was 7,168 solar years and if this time span is then divided by the number of ages/generation contained within this overall timespan, then there were seven x 1,024 year ages/generations.

I have spent the time to ponder upon this to reach my conclusions. If you wish to dispute my understanding, then I suggest that you open the scriptures and create your own chronology of the earth, and then show me where the differences are based upon your own research.

Then perhaps we may need a discussion on the differences to see where we have both possibly deviated from the timeline given in the scriptures.

Cheers

That war in heaven of Revelation 12:7 forward has not started yet today. It will only happen when it is time for Satan and his angels are booted down to earth in OUR earthly dimension in plain sight, as one of the events of the future "great tribulation". To claim it began at the cross would mean the "great tribulation" started at the cross, which it did not.

Daniel 9:26b states this fact: -

Daniel 9:26b: - Fifth Prophecy [1]
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

The people of the prince who is to come is the Roman Empire's army; the prince is the Little Horn around 300 years after the start of the fulfilment of the Daniel 8:8-17 2,300-year duration prophecy of the trampling of God's sanctuary/Temple and the trampling of God's earthly hosts, i.e. the nation of Israel. This 2,300-year trampling event start around the year 250 BC and it will end around the year, 2044-2045 AD. the Isaiah 24:21-22 judgement of the heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth will herald in the prophesied Peace Covenant in Ezekiel 34 and the saving of all of Israel as foretold by Paul in Romans 11:25b-26 after God begins gathering Israel to Himself to plant them in His fertile soil/field and teach them on the largest mountain in all of the world.

This means that the Great Tribulation will begin after the Bottomless Pit is unlocked and Satan, the other heavenly hosts and the judged kings of the earth are released for the Little While Period after which the Great Tribulation will occur before the final judgement takes place.

Your claim is based on your misunderstanding of my post and your understanding of the last 24 years of the seventh age.

Shalom

[1] Verse 26b speaks of the destruction of the city and its sanctuary which will last until the end of the trampling of God’s Sanctuary and His earthly hosts at the completion of the decreed 2,300 years. At this time the visitation of the Father’s iniquities upon their children and the children’s children will also end. Verse 26b has a time span of around 2,000 or so years and ends when Isaiah 24:21-22 is fulfilled and the Judged heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth are imprisoned.

I think you have it bass ackwards...Now, I'm not Ussher history buff but I believe He arrived at the date of 4004 BC.
Ussher added the ages placing them with significant events written in the Old Testament.
He arrived at Oct 23, 4004 BC....Was Ussher off a day or two? A month or year or two? Who knows.
If you want to use 4,100 BC. That's great.

Now, in previous post you mentioned Ages.
Now if Isaac was born at the beginning of the third age of mankind,
What are these ages? Would they be the 7 dispensations where history is divided into multiple ages in which God interacts with his chosen people in different ways? Or something different.

Now, in previous post you mentioned Ages.

What are these ages? Would they be the 7 dispensations where history is divided into multiple ages in which God interacts with his chosen people in different ways? Or something different.

Ussher's premise was that there were four days of the Lord which translates to a 4,000-year period and since he believed that Chrit was born in the year 4 BC, then the year should be 4,004 BC. Ussher was using Peter's statement that a day of the lord was equal to a 1,000 year period.

I on the other hand used the same mathematical formula but instead understood my understanding that a day of the Lord/Age/Generation was 1,025 year which resulted in my understanding that Adam was created in the year 4,100 BC.

Now I can calculate the total time period from the creation of Adam up and until the conclusion of the final judgement without leaving the OT and still retain the same time duration for a day of the Lord/Age/Generation of 1,024 solar years.

Now I am getting long in the tooth, and I will probably not witness the Armageddon Judgement of the Kings of the earth assembled at the place know as Armageddon. around the year 2,044/2,045 AD around the time of the change over from the sixth age of mankind to the start of the seventh age of mankind.

If the Armageddon judgement of the kings of the earth does not happen during this 2044/2045 time period, then I will be wrong, but if it does happen around the time that I am suggesting, that my assumption for the start of the seventh age can be considered to be spot on.

Now since we have no concrete confirmation for when God's years starts and/or finishes with respect to our calendar of today, we have no connectivity between these two calendars until the Armageddon judgement occurs.

Since I have no need to be perfectly accurate in my conclusions, I am happy for this determination to wait until armageddon actually occurs.

Shalom
