Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

As He sees it, yes.

Here is the meaning of HOLY:

The word holy primarily means set apart, distinct, or connected to God and religion

Do you also go to the dictionary to know the will of God for you on a daily basis? The internet?

What do you go to God for? Peace? forgiveness? Cleansing?

But there is something much deeper that God wants to give us...eternal life. It just so happens that eternal life is in holiness. God is holy.

So unless you think being set apart is unto the perfection of Christ to walk in resurrection life...I don't think you should put your trust in a word definition book.

I see you are from Italy. Maybe I see why you don't understand a lot of what I'm saying..I use a lot of English expressions...similes and such.

You can use the internet to translate those expressions... and if not I will clarify my meaning for you....no problem. I live in a French city so I often have to translate from one language to the other. I like languages. And I may have posted a few Hebrew words...but I translate them right away. I like Hebrew! That's a perception but is it true? The more deeply I speak the truth...the more people say I'm a false teacher.

I do think you are being falsely accuse for teaching truth. But even truth teachers can have blind spots.

Maybe you can't see why it's unwise to have women as leaders. The West is in sharp decline because of the feminization of society. And the church has followed right along. It was Eve that introduced sin into the world...and Adam went right after her.

I actually agree and do not seek to usurp authority over men. I try to avoid discussions on salvation doctrine because I don't think it's my place to correct men anymore on those issues. My main focus is Titus 2:3-5 topics to edify women.


I find it okay to ask questions though. My question to you is, do you think you could have anything to learn from others on this forum?

I see that and appreciate that is what you do normally. But I tend to attract controversy because I'm not soft-pedaling the truth because of people's feelings. I will listen to any remarks, rebukes and such. But false accusations I will correct for their sake. When I make a judgment I am very careful that it is at the correct weight. God hates a false weight. So if someone tells a lie about holiness I will come on stronger than if a person speaks against a fact.

I do learn from others. Sometimes a person will post a verse that God is teaching me something about...in a deeper way. So I get confirmations that way. But many times the person who is quoting the verse is misquoting it ....out of context. That's when I wink back at God. Shepherd's word will post some Greek study that is helpful ...and in a good way.

I think you are trying very hard to be nice...but you have to smash the glass ceiling, so to speak, if you want to derive an eternal benefit from your time here. (I wonder if God's Grace is reading this and maybe wonders what I mean by a glass ceiling???) Hmm..

I think the forum overall is doing really well at times. My prayers for this place seem to be heard and acted on. Ill continue to pray.

Amen. I love people and treat others as if I was the one who didn't know God and His ways. What would I want to hear from someone who had? What if I was the one who was playing the role of the stubborn and smug ones? Would I not want some man to not let go of me until I understood the truth??? What is a few rebukes between friends. The bible says better is the rebuke of a friend than ...I don't know...must be about pulpiteers. ;)

I like your role here. You have a good testimony and you mean well. And in most cases that will be good enough. But life throws us curves. Sometimes you have to be ready to die on that particular hill. Wisdom tells us when that is so.

I mean to save souls here and wherever I go. I have wept before pastors and people who are so deceived that they haven't a clue what the problem is.

But I'm not easily put off. I tend to hang in there.

It does. People my age are basically done...lost causes for the most part. My generation really blew it. It's one of the reasons I think I am unfit to be a saint. There's something about my generation that doesn't line up with God's very strict holy standard.

For people my age I hold out the escape that God allows. Humility and the fear of the Lord...even if it takes the rest of one's life to get it.

Our fellowship attracts people in their 20's who are very zealous for God and the truth.

In the twinkling of an eye. Yes. That's one of the reasons why I mentioned C. He got his visitation just before he died. Jesus appeared to him and smiled and told him that his life was hanging by a thread. (He was killed a week or so later)

When I first "met" C it was on a thread where I was talking about the higher walk and related the "mud people" dream/vision I had received. He thought I was a little loony...but when he took a nap the Lord revealed to him that I was telling the truth. So he pressed me on the higher walk...until he believed it possible and desirable. He prayed hard for it...and before he died the Lord encountered him. He had never had a vision before that....he thought those things were in the past.

So he went to be with the Lord he knew. I KNOW that he is presently having coffee with the Lord right now....or some other heavenly thing.

At the time that the NT was written the Greek language was chosen.
In the Greek language there are two words that cannot be separated...but not the ones you have chosen.

The two words are BELIEVE and OBEDIENCE.
They are one thought and the mind of those writing the NT would not separate the two.
It is not that believing causes obedience...
believing IS obedience.
Not like this: believe = obey
but like this: believe obey

If we believe we will obey.
If we obey we believe...it is one thought, not two combined.

Here is an example:
Hebrews 3:18-19
18And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.
