QUOTE
"Your refusal to post any actual scriptures is the deflection"
You don't process information well, do you?
I had asked you for a verse.
It was beyond your ability, so you did your snide methodology of , "well you post a pretrib rapture verse"
You ran away from the request 3 times .
Then tried to label me as defective and ILL informed as you are.
And you will still insist, thus continue to lie, that no one has produced a single passage proving that the coming of Christ and the rapture are PostTrib
Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Thus this coming and gathering = PostTrib = according to Matthew 24:29
Matthew 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Thus this coming and gathering = PostTrib = according to Matthew 24:29
Matthew 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
Thus this coming and gathering = PostTrib = according to Matthew 24:29
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Thus this coming and gathering = PostTrib = according to Matthew 24:29
1 Corinthians 15:51 ¶Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
Thus this coming and being changed = PostTrib = according to Matthew 24:29
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Thus this coming and gathering = PostTrib = according to Matthew 24:29
Revelation 19:11 ¶And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Thus this coming = PostTrib = according to Matthew 24:29
One cannot find one coming of Christ in the future that is meaning before Matthew 24:29 rather than after. If there was a coming of Christ before Matthew 24:29, Matthew 24 itself would have recorded it.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together
Verse 27 undeniably proves Christ has not come again, in any sense, prior to when these verses are meaning. Verse 27 did not happen, in any sense, prior to the beginning of great tribulation. BTW, all those coming passages submitted above, how many comings should we assume are meant? Just one in total? Or numerous comings, thus at different times? I guess it depends on who you ask. You ask a PostTribber that and the answer will be the correct and only answer-- Just one in total. You ask a Pretribber that and the answer will be the incorrect, thus wrong answer---more than one coming that happens at different times.
Computers, for example, which are not even God, have the ability to multi task. But God Himself does not have the ability to multi task? Imagine that, computers can do things that even God can't do. That based on if Pretrib is to be believed.
Multitasking means doing more than one task or job at the exact same time, or rapidly switching your attention back and forth between different activities
Here is an example of God multitasking in the OT. But I guess He lost abilities like that once Pretrib became a thing.
Exodus 10:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
Even humans have the abilty to multitask, though not to the degree computers or God can.
Motor Skills---Your hands are steering, your feet are modulating the gas and brake pedals, and your eyes are scanning the road and mirrors.
Cognitive Processing---Your brain is continuously calculating speeds, anticipating the behavior of other drivers, and interpreting traffic signs.
