I think you need to work on your ability to use MS paint. Your chart is a mess.

I was not concerned about what it looked like. Charts are stupid by default.

Well, you need to work on learning how to use MS paint. Your post-trib resurrection/rapture view is simply invalid and your chart attempt shows it.

I use the Corel Paintshop Pro 2023 Ulitmate program to make my timeline charts and illustrations. I think it is much more user friendly and easier to use than the MS paint program.

I tried to use the MS paint program and found it to hard to use and could not get it to do what I wanted.

Charts are not stupid, but very useful in showing how prophecy events fit together. I suggest that you get the Corel Paintshop Pro 2023 Ultimate from Amazon. It costs around $60.

I can understand why you would get frustrated trying to make MS paint to work. I could not.

With the Corel program, you will be able to make timeline charts and illustrations without the headaches.

Charts are useless because anyone can put any incorrect chronology as if it's correct, as in the case with Pretrib. Scripture alone is superior and proves Pretrib is not when the rapture occurs. BTW MS word is simple to use. I just moved your own chart around to make it correct, without caring if anything looked professional or not.

You have proved that you don't have the ability to make a chart. Fix your typo - paint, not word (I highlighted in red).

Also my chart does not say pre-trib. The resurrection/rapture may happen pre-trib (pre-70th week). But must happen prior to the transgression of desolation act by the Antichrist, that will trigger the beginning of the Day of the Lord.

I can agree with a lot of that...but when I stud eschatology I see Christ bride being removed prior to the tribulation.
What is "the tribulation"? Assuming we are focused on end time tribulation and not the general tribulation promised to all who follow God in this world, we're given a pretty clear definition of when it starts by the Man Himself.

In Matthew 24:15-22 Yeshua defines the abomination of desolation in Judea as the start of megas thlipsis, great tribulation. So in the context of the time of the end, a very specific time when the saints are overcome by the Beast.

Daniel 7:25 – "And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

Daniel 12:7 – "And I heard the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that [it shall be] for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these [things] shall be finished."

Revelation 13:7 – "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."

Now the prophetic narrative is WAY more nuanced than this, because who are these saints and what is the timing of their 42 months/3.5 times of being overcome?

This is where I don't see a lot of recognition of the two phases of the great tribulation as depicted in Revelation 12:13-17 nor the sufficient delineation between the wise virgins, foolish virgins, faithful Israel and harlot Israel. All of these things are wrapped up in the defining of who and at what time are the focus of prophetic passages.

The bottom line for me on defining the great tribulation of the time of the end is that the abomination of desolation is its beginning. This is tied to the removal of the restrainer such that the man of sin can declare himself to be God in God's temple and set himself up as a false god, an idol, to be worshiped. It is the ultimate unmasking of the great deception, not that everyone sees the truth and rejects the deception, but that the deception is so great that most people believe it.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 – "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

I believe the strong delusion God sends is the resurrection of the mortally wounded Beast, the seventh head/king of Revelation 17:7-11 and Revelation 13:3-5. The lie that is believed because of this strong delusion is that the man of sin is the promised Messiah. His resurrection and abomination of desolation is the beginning of his reign for 42 months that ends with him being cast into the lake of fire at Armageddon. Revelation 19:20 It is the catalyst event of his resurrection that causes the world to wonder after him and worship him. Men don't just rise from the dead every day, especially in the modern world.

So the great tribulation is the result of the abomination of desolation and acceptance of the man of sin by much of the world by signs and wonders that deceive them. This is the starting point of the 42 months that end with Armageddon and is the starting point of the wrath of the Dragon on God's people, the great tribulation. The two phases of this time are seen in Revelation 12.

Revelation 12:13 – "And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [child]."

The woman that gave birth to the man is faithful Israel. I specify faithful Israel because those of Israel who are unfaithful are pulled into the deception and worship the Dragon and his Beast as their false god. The Beast is looking to establish his kingdom in Yeshua's land with Yeshua's people stolen from him. He doesn't want to kill his own people, he knows they are lost forever with him already. They are his pawns, his hands and feet. This initial persecution of the faithful woman Israel is in line with what Yeshua warned of the time after the abomination of desolation.

Matthew 24:15-16 – "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:"

This initial phase of the great tribulation is focused on Judea, where the place of the Beast's reign begins upon his self deification. But as Jeremiah 30:4-7, Daniel 12:1, Matthew 24:15-22, and Mark 13:14-20 all agree, that unparalleled time of Jacob's trouble in Judea is cut short for their sake, and that is what we see in the next verses with the parousia of Yeshua to save them out of that time.

Revelation 12:14-16 – "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth."

Zechariah 14:4-5 – "And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee."

This has very distinctive Exodus vibes. Israel flees from Egypt and Pharaoh sends his flood (army) after them, who are swallowed up in the Red Sea parted for Israel and they go into the wilderness for a time to exit into the promised land. In the future it is Israel fleeing from spiritual Sodom and Egypt, Revelation 11:8, and the Dragon's flood (army) going after them, who are swallowed up by the Mount of Olives parted for Israel as they go into the wilderness for a time to exit into the promised land.

This order in Revelation 12:13-16 is consistent with Jeremiah 30:4-7, Daniel 12:1, Matthew 24:15-22, Mark 13:14-20, and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, among others.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 – "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, [Matthew 24:29-30] and [by] our gathering together unto him, [Matthew 24:31] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [Matthew 24:15]"

But let me share why from a subjective perspective, the coming of the Lord and our gathering to Him will be pre-tribulation for 99% of the faithful virgins. Phase 1 of the great tribulation was focused on the faithful of Israel in Judea. Phase 2 of the great tribulation is seen in the final verse of Revelation 12.

Revelation 12:17 – "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

The Dragon is still wroth with the faithful woman, but she has been protected from him for 1,260 days in the wilderness and he can't get her anymore. So he turns his attention where it was not before, not Judea.

But as we just covered, Yeshua has returned to save and protect the woman in the wilderness and this is also when the catching away of the faithful virgins takes place, at His parousia. Someone living in Kansas is not told to flee to the mountains at the abomination of desolation, just those in Judea. The Beast's power is not global at the very second he rises from the dead and declares himself to be God. His focus is in Judea first.

Now this is where the framework of exact day prophecies come in to show us when these events take place within the 70th week of Daniel.

Daniel 12:11 – "And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days."

The abomination of desolation begins a period of 1,290 days. I already shared Daniel 7:25, Daniel 12:7, Revelation 13:5 about the reign of the Beast for 1,260 days, 42 months, or 3.5 times, and that starts at the abomination of desolation too.

We know the Dragon persecutes the woman at the beginning, but we also know she is protected from him for 1,260 days. If he is only given 1,260 days and she is protected from him for 1,260 days, how is she persecuted at all?

The answer is in Daniel 12:11 and the idea that the 70 week prophecy is for Israel and Jerusalem. The abomination of desolation takes place 1,290 days before the end of the week appointed to Israel and Jerusalem, she is persecuted at that time for at most 30 days because 1,290 - 1,260 = 30 days. But Yeshua and the prophets all say that time is cut short so it could be less than that.

Matthew 24:29 – "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"

When Yeshua says "immediately after the tribulation of those days," He is not saying the whole 3.5 times, he's saying the unparalleled time of Jacob's trouble that is cut short for their sakes. That is in the middle of the week, meaning the sixth seal that heralds His coming is as well, followed by 1,230 days or so of the remainder of the Dragon's reign through his Beast and 1,260 days until faithful Israel exit the wilderness into the promised land with Yeshua as their King and Priest.

So if you're in Judea, Yeshua's coming is definitely in the midst of tribulation, the wrath of the Dragon on God's people. But if you're not in Judea, you will be caught up before the reach of the Dragon extends outside of Judea. This is why the promise to be kept from the hour of temptation is true even though the great tribulation begins before His coming. His coming also brings God's wrath, which we are promised to escape. The wrath of God on the Dragon's people is not the great tribulation like the wrath of the Dragon on God's people is. The source and destination of the wrath are polar opposites.

So for you and I Christ's coming will be pre-tribulation, as we are in the US, but my understanding of scripture technically defines His return as mid-trib, or my preference pre-wrath. Personally, I feel defining the timing by tribulation is not as precise because there's nothing explicitly promising no tribulation like there is a promise not to be appointed to God's wrath. While the great tribulation and God's wrath are about 30 days apart, that is a distinction made in the exact day prophecies as laid out so if I'm trying to be precise then it matters.

But I have no problem with people focusing on the positive, whether awake or asleep in Christ, we will be taken to be with Him forever. We should be able to handle any tribulation, whether the murders of our fellow believers daily around the world for their faith, or by the Dragon at his reign through the Beast for believers daily around the world for their faith. The tribulation is here and we should have faith to stand through any phase of it.

What is "the tribulation"?
The terminology used in the pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib views is a misnomer. What is really meant by those terms is pre-70th week.

The whole 70th week is not all tribulation though. For much of the first half of the 70th week, the world will be saying "peace and safety" thinking it has entered the messianic age with the Antichrist being the thought to be messiah.

The great tribulation begins slightly prior to the mid-point of the 70th week, when the abomination of desolation statue image will be setup on the temple mount.

The tribulation is not 7 years long, it's explicitly started at the abomination of desolation according to Yeshua, that's in the midst of the week. If you're going to use a term that doesn't mean what the term says then it only introduces confusion. Why bother with confusion when you can just use terms that keep their meaning?

If the whole 7 years is not tribulation then it's just inaccurate naming to use tribulation and mean the 70th week.

The wrath of God is a definitive event to which the church is promised escape, so why not use that to shorthand timing definition instead of a term like tribulation that seemingly everyone has a different definition of?

The sixth seal event cannot take place at the end of the week because it must first be opened before the trumpets can begin, which in turn must be blown before the bowls can begin.

Revelation 8:1-2 – "And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets."

The seven angels don't even have their trumpets until the seventh seal is broken. Having the sixth seal occur after the trumpets have taken place doesn't make sense. How can any of the angels blow trumpets they don't have?

I'm having a hard time getting past the 4 horsemen and not considering that as part of the tribulation.
Matthew 24123123 KJV – "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) ... For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."

I think that the Dragon's persecution of the woman is tied to the abomination of desolation and the 42 month reign of the Beast who is given power over the saints speaks to the Dragon's wrath on God's people, which Yeshua defines as the beginning of great tribulation. That is the scripturally consistent definition of what the great tribulation is, though everyone has their own perspectives on what it means.

Since the first four seals are before the abomination of desolation, which Yeshua defines as the start of the great tribulation, then they are tribulation for sure, but not that end time Dragon-inspired wrath on those who reject him and remain faithful to God.

There are Christians dying right now in Africa, hacked to death by Boko Haram. Is that tribulation? We're promised tribulation, but something is different about the prophetic great tribulation because something major has changed in who is behind it.

Revelation 12:7-13 – "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [child]. ... And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

The abomination of desolation is the pivotal moment of change where Michael no longer restrains the revealing of the man of sin, God resurrects him from the dead, Michael and his angels cast the Dragon to earth, and the Dragon gives the Beast his power and great authoirty.

Revelation 13:2-4 – "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"

Everything changes at the abomination of desolation, including the source of great tribulation. It's not just man killing man under the influence of the mystery of iniquity, it's man killing man under the direct command and authority of the Beast whose power comes from the Dragon cast down to earth. Completely different kind of tribulation in my mind and clearly defined as distinct in scripture as well.

Jeremiah 30:4-7 – "And these [are] the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."

Daniel 12:1 – "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

Matthew 24:15-16, 21-22 – "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: ... For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

You cannot have 3 different references to three different times that are unparalleled. By definition there is one unparalleled time that all three are referencing, reinforced by the focus on Daniel's people, Israel and Judah in Judea, and that at that unparalleled time they will be saved out of it when it is cut short.

This all happens after the first four seals and so sticking to the scriptural definition of tribulation in this context, it is at the abomination of desolation in the midst of the 70th week that the great tribulation begins. And it is immediately after that time Yeshua come at the sixth seal to cut short that unparalleled tribulation and save His people out of it into the wilderness as Revelation 12 depicts. That is also the time we are resurrected, changed, caught up, and brought by His angels to meet Him at Jerusalem before standing before the throne in heaven as depicted in Revelation 7 after the sixth seal and before the wrath of God begins when the seven trumpets are handed out after the seventh seal is broken and the scroll can be opened and read.

That is how I would define the tribulation to which the rapture timing should be tied when looking at pre/mid/post-trib theories. However, like I said, everyone defines tribulation differently so they all have different things in mind when they see pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib and it's why I don't like using those to define timing. Pre-wrath works best for me personally because the wrath begins at His parousia and that's also when we are caught up to meet Him.

Hi CrowCross, instead of saying "part of the tribulation", say "part of the 70th week", or say "part of the 7 years".

By doing so would not compromise your view of the timing of the resurrection/rapture event.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Concerning the four horsemen of Revelation 6,

The rider on the white horse - will be the Antichrist. Riding a white horse, he will initially be viewed as messianic figure.

The rider on the red horse - represents that war will break out when the Antichrist goes into the
temple, sits, declares to have achieved God-hood.

The rider on the black horse - represents control over food, to be done when the 666 global law is enacted by the false prophet.

The rider on the pale horse - named Death, represents much dying taking place worldwide during the great tribulation.

On this timeline chart I made of the 7 years, I show the riders on the horses.

Hi Watchman, did you make the timeline/chart/table ?

The chart has all of the time framed events in the second half. I don't think that is correct.

Also, the chart does not show the time, times, half time expressions.

Here is the chart/table I made of all 15 end times time expressions in the bible.

I agree. It is best not to use the term "tribulation". Use either 70th week or 7 years instead.

Also my chart does not say pre-trib. The resurrection/rapture may happen pre-trib (pre-70th week).

That's Pretrib. It is not biblical since the bible places the rapture after the trib has ended and all endtimes tribulation passages has the church being persecuted and killed in the trib.

No, none of the end times bible passages has the church being persecuted and killed during the great tribulation.

Revelation 3:
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, you are supposed to be watching for the resurrection/rapture to take place.

Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

That's wrong.

Prophecy that Christian saints would be killed during the Great Tribulation:

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The Great Tribulation is Satan's wrath which targets Christians:

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath , because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed , which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The Christian saints killed during Satan's wrathful Great Tribulation are resurrected:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God , and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 3:
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
