So your teaching doesnt help. So much misteaching and misunderstanding Gods word.

I don’t think you have digested the whole impact of Psalm 58. The whole Bible was written by God (as holy men of God spoke as the Holy Spirit moved them), therefore it must be obeyed. God does not have laws for mankind and another for Himself. God abides by the laws He gave to mankind.

What do you think would happen if a baby rattlesnake bites an individual? That’s right, he could die. Why? Because the baby rattlesnake is as deadly as a full grown rattlesnake and this is the impact and teaching of Psalm 58. In other words, God is saying the heart of man is desperately wicked and who can know it.?

I am very familiar with the teaching that babies go to heaven when they die but this is NOT taught anywhere in scriptures. You have a wrong interpretation of the story about David’s son. The reason David’s son was saved and for that matter, John the Baptist also who was saved in his mother’s womb is because both are children of God who were saved before the foundation of the world.

If David knew that babies go to heaven when they die why did he fasted and not eat but inquired of the Lord about the condition of his child? But as soon as he learned they were to meet in heaven someday he was relieved and ordered food and ate.

Yeah, so much misleading and false teachings and interpretations of the word of God. People just don’t know how to read and understand scriptures because they do not know how to connect the dots! They read one passage and create a doctrine, and not searching other scriptures to see if their conclusions harmonizes with rest of the Bible.

People just don’t get it that if they preach another Jesus other than that of the Bible, they are accursed.

Deborah,

Man in and of himself will NEVER repent and serve God. He is sold in his sin and to Satan. He does not have the power to choose for God unless God intervenes in his life.

Romans 3:10-12 reads:
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

According to Romans 3 who will repent and serve God? NONE!

"The LORD brings death and makes alive." (I Samuel 2:6)

There is a sense in which God is responsible for the death of every human being on this planet. We are all sinners - we are all rebels who deserve nothing better than instant annihilation. God is merciful and patient, and He allows us a reasonable number of years in which to repent and serve Him - but sooner or later He executes the death sentence. We have no cause for complaint against Him if He chooses to do so 'sooner' rather than 'later'.
So how does this work out in a new covanant?

What scripture do you have for davids child being saved before the foundation of the world?

You are hear calling yourself a teacher. He fasted so the child would live nothing else. He didnt learn they were to meet in heaven he already knew the child was going to die. He also knew he would see the child in heaven again.

Stop with the I know everything and no one else does. You are completly wrong. As I said already you are misleading with stuff you clearly are making up as you go.

God has not changed, and human nature has not changed.

Whether new covenant or old makes no difference to those who are outside it.
We are talking about children who are not yet responcible so why do you say they are outside?

And why do we deserve nothing better than annaliation? Wheb we were born in sin and can do nothing about it. why does that make you guilty? You have no choice. and children have even less. Also where does God might choose to kill us sooner rather than later? Where do you get this stuff?

Death for the human race was never God's plan. He does not not dole out cancer to children.

But he CAN certainly dish out cancer or a disease to anyone who displeases him, like he did to Miriam. God can be a nice guy if you play ball, just don't think you can screw with him, like he's some doormat.

I hope you take some time to study some wholesome theology. God is a God of mercy and justice, not a vengeful Norse god firing lightening bolts of misery on people. And you are wrong about Miriam.

Sure, he is a God of mercy, is slow to anger and long suffering, blah blah blah, BUT, he is also a God of hard virtues that will not be trifled with. God's patience with the various lemmings of the world will run thin eventually. There will be blood spilled, heads will roll, and it will be marvelous.

Where does God dish out cancer to people who displease Him? Dont you know there is a sowing and reaping she broke the law there are consiqences for sin and breaking the law. God is not being nice and then changing thats unscriptural. God is good all the time. Dont confuse old testiment old covanant sowing and reaping with new covanant. You can saw far more today as we are not under the law. We are under grace.

Sure, he is a God of mercy, is slow to anger and long suffering, blah blah blah, BUT, he is also a God of hard virtues that will not be trifled with. Blah blah is also not from God. Its He is merciful bless God. Not blah blah like its worthless. He is not a God of hard virtues where do you get this in scripture? You are missing so much about God if you think God is hard. If you concider your self a lemming that is also not from God. Why would you think God thinks so lowly of us when He sent His Son? Do you not understand that He sent His Son? Can you not see your value if He sent His Son for you? Where do you read of God patiance running out. You are talking about God as if you dont know Him.

So is it you who thinks it will be marvelous? Because anyone who knows God would not say that about Him. And if its you who thinks it will be marvelous. Then I would have to ask if you are born again? You really do not talk like you know God.

Were we talking only about children who are not yet responsible? The age of responsibility has not been defined, but is surely well below the age if 16. And whether responsible or not, only Jewish children are born inside any covenant.

We all deserve annihilation because we all sin - and "the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) Young children are just as sinful as adults - the only difference is that the very young lack the physical capacity to sin. As soon as they are able to, they disobey their parents...

"Death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses"
(Romans 5:14) - i.e. before God made any covenants with anybody. And just in case you hadn't noticed, the death rate for human beings is still 100%. Some of us die young, some in our old age; but in every case, and whatever the immediate cause (sickness or accident), it's fundamentally the execution of God's death sentence upon our sinful nature.

"But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness."
(Romans 8:10)

Yes as a matter of dact we were as is the tilte of the thread

We know the result of our condition. But You said "We all deserve annihilation" God never said that you added it off your own back, You need to stop that.

No you are totally wrong here. have you not read about the man that went striaght heaven having not died but was raised up. Think it was Enoch? Why do you jump in and contradict scripture so often.

Scripture please?????????????? Its a result of sin not God execution. Why you blaming God for every thing?

The title of this thread only says "children" Doesn't even specify young children, so it's perfectly reasonable to interpret it as including those above the age of responsibility. if you meant otherwise, just ignore the responses that are irrelevant.

If not redeemed, our destiny is destruction (e.g. Matthew 7:13, Matthew 10:28). Annihilation is just a synonym (and a widely used one, in this context) for destruction. You need to stop nit-picking on vocabulary.

Well, OK, 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999(and a lot more 9s)% then. 2 out of the many billions of people in the whole history of the human race (and none in the last 2800 years) is hardly a contradiction. It doesn't alter the point I'm making.

Because God pronounced the sentence, and the Bible says that He is the One who executes it (or chooses not to, in the cases of Enoch and Elijah). I Samuel 2:6 (already quoted) and Deuteronomy 32:39. I'm not blaming Him at all - 'blame' is completely the wrong word and something you are adding in.
