Scripture also acknowledges that people often build and live in houses, yet literally pokes fun at those who do, too. If you want religion, you will find religion in There. If you want to find est'd religion rejected and condemned, that's in There too.
Imo your pov fails NT because Paul specifically avoided religion his first three years; and it fails OT for more obvious reasons. I seriously doubt God cares about our religion/rituals; He seems to be wanting a nation that will produce the fruit of the kingdom. Pretty sure i could quote abundant Scripture to that effect too.
