// First, you will be expected to obey and believe everything David Pack (who believes he is unique) tells you. You will have to agree that Pack is an Apostle and that he is the Elijah (he previously believed that Herbert Armstrong was the Elijah). ///

Wow what a surprise.... :D... everything here has the hallmark stamp of a cult.

Anything connected to Armstrongism is suspect.

:D Believe it or not 50 years ago...it was his stuff that ' set me seeking'. lol

But, we all know that God even uses donkeys!! :)
True seekers who are after God won't be fooled... I got interested in British Israelite stuff via him...but when I wrote to them ( as a real seeker) all they could do was tell me to get baptized by them, into their church!! They could not lead me to the Lord.
So God sent me a real man of God...who did lead me to The Lord. Praise God.

Amen. Wow. I used to listen to Jimmy Swaggert on my way to work and home. I could hear the blessings given to me by God through men like that back then.

I was married, had two babies and was bored. God knew I loved history..so I was hooked by the history side ( true or not, it was good reading! ha!)...Once God got my attention..by allowing me to think that the Brit's came from Ephraim...my heart was touched and I then started seeking in earnest.

God moves in some mysterious ways :D

Indeed, there is One whom has authority and the final say, the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is not the church that is divided. Nor are there any denominations in the church, only branches. It is the world that is divided, and if the church has let the world in, it is not the church in the church, but the world in the church that is divided. "Beware the light in you is not darkness."
Really? No denominations, only branches? It is the world that is divided, the world in the church is divided? What? Very confusing!

I do not understand what you just said.

Hi Pissteuo,

What venom do you speak of? I see no venom in my post.
Venom defined: a spiteful malicious feeling or state of mind: extreme ill will

I am referencing the link that you posted. You didn't put any disclaimers on it. It is commonly accepted that if you reference (attach a link) someone, you agree with them, unless you put some disclaimers. You didn't put any disclaimers. Do you not agree with David Pack?

Dear Pia,

What happens when the Holy Spirit teaches me something different then he teaches you?

Curious Mary
The Holy Spirit does not teach contradiction or confusion for as the scripture also says:

"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." I Cor 14:33

The confusion that exists come from man and resides in man. Unfortunately people often do not realize that believers can be double minded. James speaks of this:

"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:8

On the one side a believer hears and follows the lead of the Holy Spirit, but then when he grows "weary in well doing" [II Thess 3:13] he is like to quench the Holy Spirit of God. This opens the door for the "old man" in him to push to the forefront and do his thing.

"Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be." James 2:10

It "ought not to be", but too it has been and is. Thus we have people being led at times by the same Holy Spirit and yet ending up with a mixed messages of truth and lies. Who can sort out the truth from the lies? God alone. The double mindedness in all of us must go and if we are surrendering again and again to the Lord, eventually it will. In this sorting some will likely be left behind because in spite of what God has given them they too often resist Him.

The cleansing of us must continue until all of the filth is gone and replaced by things that are good. Those who stop may find themselves in the position of this man:

"When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation." Matt 12:43-45

That man was cleaned when he turned to God and repented, but he left himself empty instead of filling himself or allowing himself to be filled with the good things that God had for him. What did God have for him? What does He have for us?

"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." John 6:53

Do you not understand that tares grow among the wheat, but the wheat is still the wheat of the harvest and the tares are to be burned regardless?

The Holy Spirit does not teach contradiction or confusion for as the scripture also says:

Dear sir,

If the Holy Spirit does not teach contradiction or confusion then why are there 100 contradicting doctrines in thousands of different churches?
All those churches claim to be led by the Holy Spirit.

How do we discern who has the right doctrine led by the Holy Spirit?

Hi Harymog,
It was a good read in my opinion that was on topic with the previous few posts. I'm sure a few here caught that I didn't follow Mr. Pack after reading post 140. Thanks for your concern though.

I don't have any "concern". What are you talking about? That I might be concerned you are following Mr. Pack? Lol...o_O

I didn't ask you if you "follow Mr. Pack". I asked you if you agree with him. You didn't answer.

I also asked you: What venom do you speak of? Once again, you didn't answer.

I also asked you
if you follow the teachings of the apostles and 2,000 years of Christian theologians? You didn't answer.

See the common thread hear....Pissteuo doesn't like to answer legitimate questions but is quick to make false allegations (ref. venom).

Job said:- "The Spiritual Church is not a "physical church". It exists in the spiritual realm. None of the members know one another nor do they know they are members of this church. Membership is based on the contents of ones heart. Since God is the only One that can see into the heart, He is the One who chooses it's members. He is the only authority within this church. "
Well said @Job

I wonder why it is so hard to understand...it is so clearly laid out in the NT.
Amen! It's there, but it needs to be here, in my heart or yours or theirs.

The reason people don't simply accept this is they acknowledge or understand the followers [sheep] of Jesus must recognize His voice as opposed to any other voice.

We can study the NT and the OT for years and still fail to hear what Jesus is saying to us, because our hearing is missing or poor or perhaps because at a critical moment we are quenching the Holy Spirit.

"And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers." John 10:4-5
